Balenciaga Triple S Timeline:

The Triple S, meanwhile, was intended to be chunky, but never ugly. “It was really absolutely a proportional exercise of footwear, and not any kind of a gimmicky play with what was ugly or not ugly in shoe design,” he said. 3 Things I Like
They are high fashion, have a history since 2017 to turn heads. The mid panel was modified to add the collaborative 3 stripes, would be interesting to see where they manufactured these.
They make you much taller lol

Not sure, it's an art design, just not something to wear every day.
Maybe if they made just an "S" not a triple sole, just a single sole. might look cool.

EU sizing, I probably need to go down .5 TBH to a 42 (9 US)
Comfort Rating - 5.8, its like weight training for your feet they are like 4lbs each
Aesthetic Rating 8 on those that can pull it off, 5.5 on me lol

Final Thoughts
Definitely an acquired taste, but when someone puts the effort in, they can make these look pretty clean, I respect those that can do it because after having them in hand and on feet, its pretty insane.

Check out the Nike Zoom Pegasus Shield or Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo Shield (hightops) They are absolutely amazing! Perfect comfort, perfect grip on wet surfaces, and both models look great too :)

In Adidas' sizing, US 9 Men is 42 2/3, so I guess that rounds up to 43. US 9.5 is 43 1/3. So it rounds closer to 43 as well than 44. And 44 is US 10. :P Not sure why Adidas uses thirds instead of halves, and the increments are 2/3 instead of 1/3. I think I saw somewhere that it actually scales better with US sizing than halves, but again, I'm not sure. :P

I'm a millionaire and the most I have ever and would ever pay for sneakers is about $79. It's all a mirage/marketing, the same rubber, leather and synthetic materials that are in an inexpensive shoe are the same materials in the expensive shoe. Don't fall for the banana in the tailpipe

These are hideous. What makes fashion actually fashion is when people rock what they like and what they think looks good. There is nothing worse than when someone just throws a bunch of expensive pieces on and thinks that they look good. Real fashion takes effort not just money.

These are a fad… part of a trend that will not age well.
adidas should stick to collabs like Craig Green, Daniel Arsham, Humanrace, Human Made, Ivy Park, Lotta Volkova, Noah NYC, Stella McCartney, Wales Bonner, Y-3 and their various sports partnerships. \\\ legacy designs are the definition of streetwear. Most designers get that. Gucci and Prada did not try to reinvent the wheel.
I get the irresistible desire to go where they’ve never been before, completely non-functional footwear for a brand that is known for no-frills athletic gear is a mismatch.
The only positive is Balenciaga is responsible to the tooling. adidas didn’t design and engineer this. It’s lazy… the color-blocking is OG, and it doesn’t work here. The price point is ridiculous for what this is regardless. Play around with the clothing, but leave the shoes to the experts.
