    A super huge thing to note is also shipping price! The shipping price for a Faucetwo for me in the U.S. is over $100, meanwhile shipping for the Pico was just $10

    • @tokaku
      @tokaku  ปีที่แล้ว +88

      there's actually a US warehouse for gamo2 products but it depends on whether there's stock in their warehouse and well, it's still more expensive than the pico since the faucetwo is heavier 😅

    • @catzblu999
      @catzblu999 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@tokaku Gamo2 is really really bad about having US warehouse stock. Like they pretty much only have stock during Black Friday for the controllers people want. It really should have been brought up in the video since you found it necessary to compare the base price. Plus even if you are willing to pay the shipping for overseas, it takes months to arrive. The Pico v5 seems like the better choice 11 months out of the year if you don't care about portability and repairability.

    • @idle_sheep
      @idle_sheep ปีที่แล้ว +8

      And if you're in Europe this is even more important to note because you have to pay VAT on top of all of it.
      For me the pico with shipping and taxes comes at around 185 dollars total by the end of it.
      The Facetwo would be a whopping 350-ish dollars. That is a HUGE difference.

    I think ill probably grab a full sized con down the line especially because gamo2 announced their black faucetwo, but I don't regret getting the minicon at all. its super easy to setup on smaller desks, and I can bring it everywhere.

      @@xerovesk9726 project flower is not e-amusement. it's a spoofed? emulated? service. But yeah basically I said SDVX doesn't exist in europe because it doesn't officially. In the end for most people living in Europe, it's still a vacation trip away to find a sound voltex cabinet, compared to a portion to people in the US taking a couple hours drive to their nearest round 1. And even less comparable to people living in cities in Asia where we take a 30 minute train ride to the nearest arcade with the latest machines and updates. At that kind of effort, time and money to play on a cabinet, most players won't be experiencing the full arcade feel often and regularly enough to warrant a full sized controller for practice on at home as its a once in a blue moon ordeal

    i came back to this video because i just purchased one of these to finally play sdvx at home and i gotta say, i LOVE this little controller. I dont have a full sized sdvx controller at home and going back to the arcade after playing on this smaller controller for a while is definitely a hinderance but, i dont get to the arcade that often anyway and this controller is MUCH quieter than even my keyboard lmao so im sure my housemate appreciates that. the problem with comparing the price of this and the price of the faucetwo is that, you're not going to want to buy the faucetwo with its stock components, which makes the price much higher than the pocket pico, plus the shipping on a full sized controller is outrageous whereas this one was like.. maybe 10 dollars to the US? anyway, i love how tiny this is its great for my hands, but def just know itll be harder to get back into the arcade version because of the size difference imo. my hands kept getting lost lmao but if youre just playing at home and dont care about the arcade? want something quiet and space conserving? def worth every penny! it honestly feels like it should cost more.

    i would get a faucetwo but shipping prices in the UK are like 2/3rd the price of the controller itself and it Hurts

    Have you considered reviewing Deemo 2? The charts aren’t very hard but the story is nice and the game has a cool atmosphere.

    I've been eyeing the pico voltex for months now and I SO am going to buy it once I can afford it, but sadly dollar is like 5x my currency so even if the price being justified for the quality, it's really beyond my budge

    I own the controller and I like it a lot, but I do not think the encoders are durable. My right knob became increasingly stiff after 2-3 weeks of play (18-19s) it's become more loose now to match the left encoder, but now it feels like it's breaking and missing inputs. Luckily, encoders from the website are 2.99 EACH, so I bought 3 and with shipping it was around 10 dollars. I really love the controller, but if I'm having to replace an encoder every 1-2 months, it gets annoying. I don't believe I play recklessly either.

    They work great but unfortunately when I got my v4 it didnt have any caps on the encoders meaning itd jitter and bounce all over the place when turning the knobs, speedy offered to fix this for me but it meant shipping it out of country and fixing it myself is a pain in the ass. Great controllers but definitely buyer beware on the potential human error factor.

    I do want to get into sound voltex but i hate how your next plays are forfeited if you fail a song. I'm the type of person who always skips to the highest difficulty but with sdvx i actually need to start on easy/medium difficulty
