This has been confirmed by the creators of Steven Universe when they said that if gems that have a gem in the same place fused the gems would be next to each other in the fusion. So if multiple Blue Diamonds fused there would be multiple gems on her chest, there are not for any of the diamonds.
Kitanie Actually Ian confirmed that if different Gems that fuse have same placement the fusion would be side by side but when asked if the same gem type had the same position......he ignored the question. (Whether deliberately or not i don't know) So at the moment at least, my theory is still viable (just :D ) [There is also the horrific concept of the newly created Diamond being shattered immediately and the shards being forced onto the original Diamond as those awful shard fusion experiments showed, it can be done]

I love it! This is pretty much the ultimate theory, especially the part about how Pink likely was close friends with Rose, and that’s how this whole fiasco with the giant web of secrets started. The only thing I’ve found that I could disagree with is the fact that ONE line from Bismuth stating the INTENDED USE of the sword means “it cannot shatter a gem no matter how you try” gems have cleavage right? You don’t need to totally shatter one to split it in two. Though, if we DO see Pink again, and she in turn gets to see what her “death” brought upon the planet and gems she cared so much about, I wanna have her go through an arc where she has to learn to be just another member of the Crystal Gems. Sure she is absurdly powerful somehow, but the idea is that you don’t have a tried and true “leader”. The only reasons they follow Steven are because they trust his judgement on things he DOES know, same with Garnet. I would say at this point none of the CG’s still treat Steven like Rose.
So here’s a theory I came up with: Pink gave rose her healing and resurrection powers much how garnet can pass her future vision to Steven. Pink might’ve done this to give rose a fighting chance against homeworld.
Most likely the original inhabitants had put up a fight which forced homeworld to use drastic measures to destroy them but had destroyed the resources needed to build the colony. Yellow Diamond is revengeful and she would destroy them along the resource if she hated them so much.
Maybe yellow realized that pink shattered herself because yellow made her feel unwanted so she feels guilty about it and that's why she acts so hostile or uncomfortable on the topic of pink diamonds shattering....maybe i'm just saying it's a possibility...😺😺
I had thought that the Crystal Gems where represented by a Star because it had something to do with Pink Diamond! It nice to hear others mentioning that in their videos. :) I also had a theory that Pearl has the colors of the Diamonds on her because White Diamond also has all the colors of the Diamonds on her as well. As unity of Homeworld, all things guiding to her as Leader. A real Diamond can reflect the colors of the raindow! But someone elses theory, the Pearl just adapted the other colors as she was passed down from Diamond to Diamond could be right too...?

So there seems to be four main groups forming in Steven Universe: 1. Steven and the Crystal Gems 2. Lars and the Off-Colors 3. Sadie and the Suspects 4. Connie and the other gems [Peridot, Lapis and also Pumpkin] Furthermore, the members of the different groups seem to have similarities such as how Garnet, Buck and Rhodonite reflect each other. There's also the fact that there are four groups and four diamonds [Or were four diamonds]. Perhaps each group represents one of the diamonds? If Sadie's band represents Pink, then it could mean that the band will break up since Pink was shattered. Their band even has a lot of symbolism of death. Sadie has also been having issues with her mother which could be a parallel to the relationship between Pink and Yellow. There's also that Steven has his dad, Sadie has her mom and Connie has her own mom. Lars doesn't really have a parent in the show, but his crew does have one extra member. Idk, it's just a theory, but what are your thoughts? Oh, or Onion and his Gang could be the 4th group! They're both pretty mysterious, so maybe they represent White Diamond? Connie and her friends were all going through pretty emotional stuff, too, just like Blue. And Lars and the Off-Colors are systematically taking out Homeworld areas which makes me think of Yellow. Maybe pearl covered her mouth forcefully because of how her connection with pink...is very complex.i mean like a child and their mother (White and pink) so white's pearl would be the same..cover their mouth when spoken of her. Although white would be more calmer than her pearl she still would be shedding tears when she heard her own daughter die for an unexpected reason...so if rose didn't shatter pink..and white is mentally unstable then...pearl almost said something but her mouth took advantage of her...so we don't know if pink just shattered herself? Yes suicide is a very deep take for the show but..it would make sense here.. it's why blue gets so torn up over pink's shattering the she doesn't know what truly happened...Yellow doesn't know ether but she remains aware of the possibilitys..she knew that steven doesn't know about it so she just wanted to shatter him to get it out of the way..
I think it would actually be really interesting if they blamed it on Rose because before she shattered herself she wrote a note (however gems do that) that she was torn between being a Crystal Gem or being a Diamond. Since Rose was the leader (I think) they blamed her and came up with a backstory for it, so it would be a bit more believable. That’s what I think.
this is what i thought right after the airing of feeling blue song, its like yellow diamonds fault, it got clear on the trial episode. its very clear that yellow is the shatterer. blue is a crybaby but she can be a suspect too. and also, LOVE LIKE YOU is a song of ROSE QUARTZ to PINK DIAMOND. I get it now. , but we need answers. And I hate Hiatuses.
I think what happened is after Pink was poofed, white diamond attacked pearl she held up pink’s gem in defense, Pink was severely cracked beyond repair. Rose could not really heal her, she put her in the chest in hope that Steven could heal her completely. Steven will heal pink but she will only be back temporarily to fix everything but I think something that SU should teach is that actions have consequences. If pink was permanently rehealed I feel that would be too “happy” and perfect.
I don't think Pink Diamond was shattered. If Steven had an empathetic dream about Pink like he did with Blue Diamond it could be possible that Pink Diamond is still alive. This begs the question that if Pink wasn't shattered then where is she maybe in a certain chest in the main of a lion.
Swore i thought i was the only one thinking pink diamond was in the chest inside lion. Like literally at this point in the story, there's no thing far more important that could be in that chest. This theory is amazing and it makes sense, and the show deals with a lot of "adult" stuff so it would make sense to have the pink diamond thing to be about suicide. I mean lapis and jasper represented an abusive relationship.
It also makes sense that Pink Diamond is little if she's going to be a character in the Crystal Gems. If she were giant it would be awkward to animate on a regular basis.

But how would she do that? Garnet gives Steven future powers for like 1 minute. This theory has good points but it isn't really backed up well
Perhaps since pink was a diamond her transferring her healing abitlies(Assuming she has any) was permanent and not temporary.

Most likely the original inhabitants had put up a fight which forced homeworld to use drastic measures to destroy them but had destroyed the resources needed to build the colony. Yellow Diamond is revengeful and she would destroy them along the resource if she hated them so much.
Maybe yellow realized that pink shattered herself because yellow made her feel unwanted so she feels guilty about it and that's why she acts so hostile or uncomfortable on the topic of pink diamonds shattering....maybe i'm just saying it's a possibility...😺😺

I had thought that the Crystal Gems where represented by a Star because it had something to do with Pink Diamond! It nice to hear others mentioning that in their videos. :)
I also had a theory that Pearl has the colors of the Diamonds on her because White Diamond also has all the colors of the Diamonds on her as well. As unity of Homeworld, all things guiding to her as Leader.
A real Diamond can reflect the colors of the raindow!

So there seems to be four main groups forming in Steven Universe:
1. Steven and the Crystal Gems
2. Lars and the Off-Colors
3. Sadie and the Suspects
4. Connie and the other gems [Peridot, Lapis and also Pumpkin]
Furthermore, the members of the different groups seem to have similarities such as how Garnet, Buck and Rhodonite reflect each other. There's also the fact that there are four groups and four diamonds [Or were four diamonds]. Perhaps each group represents one of the diamonds? If Sadie's band represents Pink, then it could mean that the band will break up since Pink was shattered. Their band even has a lot of symbolism of death. Sadie has also been having issues with her mother which could be a parallel to the relationship between Pink and Yellow. There's also that Steven has his dad, Sadie has her mom and Connie has her own mom. Lars doesn't really have a parent in the show, but his crew does have one extra member. Idk, it's just a theory, but what are your thoughts?
Oh, or Onion and his Gang could be the 4th group! They're both pretty mysterious, so maybe they represent White Diamond? Connie and her friends were all going through pretty emotional stuff, too, just like Blue. And Lars and the Off-Colors are systematically taking out Homeworld areas which makes me think of Yellow. I guess Steven represents Rose then?

Maybe pearl covered her mouth forcefully because of how her connection with pink...is very complex.i mean like a child and their mother (White and pink) so white's pearl would be the same..cover their mouth when spoken of her. Although white would be more calmer than her pearl she still would be shedding tears when she heard her own daughter die for an unexpected reason...so if rose didn't shatter pink..and white is mentally unstable then...pearl almost said something but her mouth took advantage of her...so we don't know if pink just shattered herself? Yes suicide is a very deep take for the show but..it would make sense here.. it's why blue gets so torn up over pink's shattering the she doesn't know what truly happened...Yellow doesn't know ether but she remains aware of the possibilitys..she knew that steven doesn't know about it so she just wanted to shatter him to get it out of the way..

I think it would actually be really interesting if they blamed it on Rose because before she shattered herself she wrote a note (however gems do that) that she was torn between being a Crystal Gem or being a Diamond. Since Rose was the leader (I think) they blamed her and came up with a backstory for it, so it would be a bit more believable. That’s what I think.

this is what i thought right after the airing of feeling blue song, its like yellow diamonds fault, it got clear on the trial episode. its very clear that yellow is the shatterer. blue is a crybaby but she can be a suspect too. and also, LOVE LIKE YOU is a song of ROSE QUARTZ to PINK DIAMOND. I think what happened is after Pink was poofed, white diamond attacked pearl she held up pink’s gem in defense, Pink was severely cracked beyond repair. Rose could not really heal her, she put her in the chest in hope that Steven could heal her completely. Steven will heal pink but she will only be back temporarily to fix everything but I think something that SU should teach is that actions have consequences. If pink was permanently rehealed I feel that would be too “happy” and perfect.
I don't think Pink Diamond was shattered. If Steven had an empathetic dream about Pink like he did with Blue Diamond it could be possible that Pink Diamond is still alive. This begs the question that if Pink wasn't shattered then where is she maybe in a certain chest in the main of a lion.
Swore i thought i was the only one thinking pink diamond was in the chest inside lion. Like literally at this point in the story, there's no thing far more important that could be in that chest. Either that or a letter from rose to steven explaining EVERYTHING. So basically either way, something pink diamond related is in that chest... Ydek how pissed i'd be if the key is under the chest 😂😂

I feel like it’s pearl because it dose not make any sense for Steven to not know how it happened. Just like how Steven didn’t know Bismuth. Rose probably left no memory of her for Steven because he would probably think less of her in the future.

This theory is amazing and it makes sense, and the show deals with a lot of "adult" stuff so it would make sense to have the pink diamond thing to be about suicide. I mean lapis and jasper represented an abusive relationship.
It also makes sense that Pink Diamond is little if she's going to be a character in the Crystal Gems. If she were giant it would be awkward to animate on a regular basis.

Interesting theory, but you forget one thing. When Gems shapeshift, they keep their gemstone placement and color scheme. So, even if Pearl did shapeshift into Rose Quartz in order to shatter Pink Diamond, IT WOULD BE OBVIOUS THAT ISN’T A REAL ROSE QUARTZ!
