Wall can also be very useful for controlling the blast effects of AoE spells like Genade or Elemental Ball - and even Scattershot, if you want to try to avoid the risk of shooting into existing melees where you might accidentally harm your own troops.
I think one bummer to Scatter Shot is that usually if there are enough targets around to make it a viable option over Elemental Bolt, some of those enemies will be in combat and the Spell can end up hitting more allies than enemies. But it’s fun as a once-in-a-while explosion. It’s pretty awesome though on a tab,w with multiple players, as there are probably targets all over the place.
@@bricksblocksgaming8017 It is very tricky to get much use out of Scattershot versus other players, but some scenarios put enough low-Fight score uncontrolled creatures out that the ability to sweep some of them away makes it a bit better even if some shots do wind up risking friendlies in a melee. Unlike soldiers NPCs don't actively try to avoid unfavorable melees, and they often clump up on one target so the odds of each individual shot hitting an enemy get better. Having a barbarian or templar playing meat magnet to draw a bunch of zombies or skeletons into double-moving into range and then using Scattershot on the lot of them has worked better than anything I've ever managed against a thinking opponent.
I’m glad that Frostgrave has so many viable ways for how to build and that this offensive build isn’t the norm… but it wouldn’t be a game about Wizards and Warriors without this kind of option.
me and my buddies did a mostly narrative game last winter and one of them built a similar build. None of us were to pleased to be going in against them
I'm so glad I came across this game, ...and THIS channel! Both bring me great joy. Thanks.
I’m glad you found my channel and are enjoying it and the game!
Very fun video.
Thanks Monster Painter!

About as subtle as a 2x4 with a nail. But pure fighting can be oh so very fun at times :D
😂That’s a good way to put it!
Ouch, that's a brutal build. It would be great fun though

😂 Sounds about right for the group’s reaction!
you could make a very fluffy build of one of these as a magic gunslinger
Most War Machine players probably have at a least a few suitable models for that in their collections.
A magic gunslinger sounds pretty cool.
