+Manchos Castano No reason for them to go on any final world tours. I just saw the Pumpkins three times in three days, and they're absolutely killing it right now. It's a hell of a show. Billy, Jimmy, and Jeff are outstanding. James joining them was amazing. They're at their peak since returning. I hope we get at least another 10 years of Pumpkins with those three members.
+Brian Robertson Yeah, most people don't realize that Billy & Jimmy are smashing pumpkins. The albums feature Billy on every instrument except Drums as Jimmy is a better drummer than Billy. James Iha, and Darcy were basically just hired guns. Billy didn't allow them to play on the albums. He's a definite control freak, but the material shows his tenacity in that it's so sonically beautiful and precise.
+Kevin Williams It is true that Billy and JImmy laid down almost all the recorded stuff on SD..but you arent giving James enough credit for Gish and MCIS..any time you hear an Ebow, thats James..He also does alot of the lead fills during verses... While BIlly was the major player, one only need look at the albums post James and Darcy to understand how the contributed to the band.. Darcy on the other hand, was a bit of a hired gun, just from an outsider perspective. But so much more goes into an amazing album or band than just, who wrote what, and who played what. Ideas are bounced off each other and it is from the chemistry of the three or four unique individuals that gives rise to the masterpiece..Would If you could go back in history and give Billy a new guitarist, or bassist, I would argue that you would not have a Gish, or Siamese Dream, or Mellon Collie today.. I'm a huge fan of SP, even have an Adore tattoo lol.
D'Arcy was definitely part of the band's vibe though. It's not the same without her. And as mcallen said, you need to give James more credit for songs like Mayonaise and Soma, along with MCIS and Gish. You've got to admit that the band's vibe is different now that they lost D'Arcy and James.
No disrespect to Jeff, but the way James plays - with that half second strum lag - just makes it sound right - nice and dreamy. Jeff plays right in sync with Billy and while sounding louder and fuller, doesn't have the original vibe of Siamese Dream.
+Iam Lion You gotta remember that Jeff and James are from two different eras. Even technologically, the music writing and playing are different. James also co-wrote this song (even though there's some issue as to what really happened), so I'm sure it hits him harder playing it than Jeff.
I agree the with comments posted,i got chills when i first saw this video Pumpkins one of my favorite bands growing up in the 1990's.love the unplugged version of Mayonise wish Billy and James would do a world tour like this or release an acoustic album of Pumpkins classics!
This is beyond amazing, takes me right back to my childhood years, being a confused teenager, listening to my favorite songs. Smashing Pumpkins will forever hold that place near and dear. Original guitarist James Iha joined Billy on stage for some tracks off Siamese Dream last night. Just happened to be James' birthday too! How incredibly awesome. They are playing again in Cali tonight. I wonder if James will be there?
+rockMelloncollie was just talking about that with my buddy. we were saying he is stretching for notes and hitting them and sounds sharper than we have heard him sound in a long time. Really great.
can't believe it. started practicing the song last week and was full of melancholic memories of the 90s. and here they are united again. i could cry :..)
Whoah that's amazing ! I had this song stuck in my head on the weekend ! I must have been picking up the vibes from halfway across the world when they were playing it !!!
What a beautiful thing to see. I was in Madison WI when they were recording GISH. Was lucky enough to be in college from 91-94. As soon as James starts playing the Smashing Pumpkins sound ignites... I heard Dave Grohl is going to play bass on the next Smashing Pumpkins album/reunion... Darcy is servicing horses.
+Hazy Sativa Darcy, unfortunately got herself into a bit of a coke problem, and made some questionable surgery choices in the process...I hope shes doing well.
mcallen bell Yeah its too bad she's such a mess, she was pretty hot back in the early 90s. No idea what she was trying to fix with all the plastic surgery.
So aweesooomeee ! This made my day better, happy easter by the way, one of my favorite songs by the smashing pumpkins, and so happy to see them together again
Imagine if at 1:27 the distorted guitars kicked in and all the house lights lit up and out emerged D'arcy with the bass and Jimmy started playing the drums, as if to say we're back!
Nostalgia tears running down my cheecks! I have this 'vieuphoria' dvd where they play an acoustic version of Mayonaise in a park. All smiling and laughing and enjoying themselves. No rockstar stuff. Just four talented kids playing music. That picture of them will always be what the smashing pumpkins are to me. It's a shame that D'arcy has become what she is now, but still very happy to see Jimmy and James back.
+Jeremy Hoffman No Jimmy :( .. i saw them in 95 and I saw them in 2006 and both shows were amazing. But Without Jimmy on them drums....Not the true Pumpkin sound. Still love the video though :)
I thought James wanted nothing to do with BIlly ever again..this warms my heart..If they would do one show with james, darcy, and jimmy, id fly anywhere to see it.
Great video, I really appreciate you uploading this, so happy to see them play together again. Now get Jimmy in the mix (already playing with Billy again) and a magic vortex to the 90's will open and the world will be fixed!
The thumb down people have to be someone whom dont hear and see magic in this version...this is one of those songs that i want played at my funeral and sums up my life..thanks billy and james you are special
Their chemistry is one of a kind. Seeing them side by side is like a dream. This is real though. SP Forever! D'Arcy...we're waiting for you! Make it happen!
I really hope they get the original lineup. I would love to see them for the first time and have it be the original members. Please universe, make this happen!!!
i was there and i couldn't believe my shit. i don't see james as essential to my enjoyment but man, this made me happier than i would have expected. old friends.
+Nickolas Macheras -- There's an undeniable energy that James and Jimmy bring to the Smashing Pumpkins. It's William's baby, but Jimmy and James helped nurture and raise it.
The impossible is possible tonight! :__)
100k views in one day. Shows how significant this moment is for Smashing Pumpkins fans
+SavageMadman 99 This is my favorite comment here. Really says it all.
96k views in 5 months... lol
The chemistry between the original band members is undeniable.
Chills down my spine and I'm 16 again. There's a Simon & Gurfunkel kind of magic here.
i'm so happy to see them together again on stage ... we miss you james iha
This made me smile.
More than anything it's just cool to see that they get on again. Life's too short for hating.
Who would dislike this video? not even Satan would.
I wish theyll get back together all 4 original members then go for a final world tour.
+Manchos Castano No reason for them to go on any final world tours. I just saw the Pumpkins three times in three days, and they're absolutely killing it right now. It's a hell of a show. +Brian Robertson If Billy can keep it together.

the REAL SP!!! somethings are irreplaceable...... the charm and chemistry when they play together....
The beauty of this moment is indescribable
OMG I cried my fricken eyes out. Been a Smashing Pumpkins for 26 years and this was magic!!!
Thank you, James and Billy. Thank you for this.
I smiled as i watched this, it kinda gives me back hope in myself. Incredible!
me too
YES, well said!
I know they are both good musicians but when those two get together there is always magic.
And as if by magic, we're all back there...you know where you were.
ahhh the nostalgia! having flashbacks! Siamese dream to me is the best sp album. good times! 👍
No disrespect to Jeff, but the way James plays - with that half second strum lag - just makes it sound right - nice and dreamy. Jeff plays right in sync with Billy and while sounding louder and fuller, doesn't have the original vibe of Siamese Dream.
exactly
+Iam Lion Which is kinda strange, considering Billy played all the guitar parts on Siamese dream.
+Iam Lion You gotta remember that Jeff and James are from two different eras. Even technologically, the music writing and playing are different. James also co-wrote this song (even though there's some issue as to what really happened), so I'm sure it hits him harder playing it than Jeff.
+Iam Lion I think Billy sounds better playing this song with James. Much more powerful.
+Iam Lion Could be my nostalgia, could be that I love every song on this album, could be I don't know shit, but I agree with everything you said.
they haven't played together in over 15years but it's easy to see.. they simply belong together. love sp forever! thank you so much for this video!
Shivers down the neck, water in the eyes. Being teenage was a fucked time for me but this song single-handedly got me through.
One of my all time favorite songs
this song brings tears to my eyes!
Wow, I'm blown away. Wish I was there, but this will do. And does. Thank you so much!
this is significant also in that its got to be one the best mayonaise perfomances Ive ever heard
So happy.
Its wonderful to see you again jamming together.
I just teared up and got goosebumps. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to be there.
how did I miss this!?!?

Pumpkins will never be a whole without Billy,James,Jimmy and D'arcy.. Will Forever love them.💗💋💗 SO MANY PRECIOUS MEMORIES.
Maybe it's physiological but billy's voice seems sharper, as if he is in the right place.
+rockMelloncollie was just talking about that with my buddy. we were saying he is stretching for notes and hitting them and sounds sharper than we have heard him sound in a long time. Really great.
rockMelloncollie 100 percent agree! I was saying that too.
His voice is a fine tuned corgan.
can't believe it. started practicing the song last week and was full of melancholic memories of the 90s. and here they are united again. i could cry :..)
❤God to see old friends reunited. God bless.
I can't describe with words how happy this makes me feel
`Million thanks for this man. Just wow.
Whoah that's amazing ! I had this song stuck in my head on the weekend ! I must have been picking up the vibes from halfway across the world when they were playing it !!!

So beautiful. My favorite song from my favorite band. Damn I´d wish I was there man, at least I can enjoy the video... thanks for the upload
I'm crying. Thank you for sharing.
Love how receptive the crowd is....they went just as wild as I would have when Billy says "tonight it's Siamese Dream"
Billy and D'Arcy are speaking again...pieces might be falling into place for classic lineup reunion.
If so, I'll be in line for multiple-multiple shows.
i pray for that
I and I am sure many many many many many others would love that!
After reading his memoirs about the band members, I doubt it.
FeRGan fressness money talks tho
the incredible returns of the SMASHING PUMPKINS :"(

Favorite band singing my favourite song..... Goosebumps!!!
I love the pumpkins. Any time, anyhow, anyway they want to give it. Thank you so much for sharing!
WOW! Never expected to see this again!
Imagine if at 1:27 the distorted guitars kicked in and all the house lights lit up and out emerged D'arcy with the bass and Jimmy started playing the drums, as if to say we're back!
Jimmy is still a member of the band
+SlickNick I never said he wasn't
That distortion gives me goosebumps every time I blast it in my car. Get to into a trance got to watch the road not to get in an accident.
Why would anyone want D’arcy back?
"we love you James" this melts my heart
goosebumps! it feels good to be 15 again!
Nostalgia tears running down my cheecks! I have this 'vieuphoria' dvd where they play an acoustic version of Mayonaise in a park. All smiling and laughing and enjoying themselves. No rockstar stuff. One cannot exist without the other
I'm very happy for the band and I hope this will continue. No more Drama Please...
Ladies and Gentlemen let me present to you the TRUE Smashing Pumpkins!
+Jeremy Hoffman No Jimmy :( .. i saw them in 95 and I saw them in 2006 and both shows were amazing. But Without Jimmy on them drums....Not the true Pumpkin sound.
