Ran into Billy C walking by himself in New Orleans before the show last night. Talked with me and a friend of mine for ten minutes about what seemed like everything. Unreal.
some very cool moments with James and Jeff playing together on that one. This track in particular really shines a light on what contributions James and Jeff make and how different they are.
+Cody S Jeffs playing on everything since Zeitgeist the songs written at the residencies like 99 floors, No Surrender and all of the post 2000 albums is quite a body of work with the band, he's a tasteful guitar player, James will always be a part of that orginal magic, but he's not on Oceania or anything Corgan has done in the last 16 years. Jeff has built his own spot. You nostalgia people continue to live in the past. I'm as big a James fan as anyone but don't diminish the work and friendship of Jeff and Billy
+Travis Travinyle people aren't nostalgic just because the songs aren't as good now (by far). They're tasteful. Seeing a fifty year old Billy play Bullet...THAT is what nostalgia is.
I really love how James isn't like most musicians that need to have the former guitar player leave the stage to play, he has Jeff play lead and he just accompanies Billy and Jeff for the most part, so humble. Smashing Pumpkins are quickly becoming my favorite band and I could have totally gotten into them earlier but failed lol.
at 4:40 Jeff looks to see if James is going to play the other part and backs off lol, Spaceboy and Today had the most interesting moments with the guitar
This would be my bucket list as long as they played songs from before and up to Mellon Collie. Yes I know it's their best album and all that shit but it s taken me half an hour to type this sentence so boo yaa to anyone reading-the pumpkins really do rock!!!

It's none of my dam business I just figured maybe she could use a little compassion. She sure had it all back in the day. Makes you wonder if given that huge success maybe it was all too much(for her). May the good Lord keep her safe and well.
