24hours but on 2 buses seperated by a 10hr layover isnt hard in Thailand these days with VIP and Super VIP buses. I've been coming to SEA since 1990 and the first 20 to 25 years were much tougher with less options around the region. But its still a 12hr bus ride from Koh Samui to Malaysia border on the one bus a day.
Might be the first full 24 hours coach tour in Thailand from north to south that we have seen. You are right on point for a shower stop on a long journey for sure. If they have this as an inclusive services it might be something that we would give it a try as a traveling alternative around Thailand. Though-Love the concept in you wanting to try new experiences and sharing it with us, thank you ❤❤😊
That’s awesome! Well hopefully at least some of the video will help fellow travelers in Thailand. We’d be 100% down to test out shower stops! 🙋♂️🙋♀️ Thank you for watching and commenting. We appreciate your support! 😊🙏
I didn't know they had that! We've had all sorts of other meals though. Like pad krapow, the chicken green curry (it's SO good!), omelet on rice, and the red curry with pork. You could seriously eat at 7 Eleven for a week and have something new and delicious every meal. You'd likely be swollen with sodium, but also probably happy. 😂
The two main bus stations are linked in the description. The bus company will typically take care of the transfer, we just made an error in our parts. If you bookin with 12go, using the link in our description, you should just have to show up to the first bus terminal listed on your ticket and then the rest will be taken care of by the company. Hope this helps. 😊
Oh, 24 hrs on bus, it is a big adventure. It should be exhausted. However, it is also great experience for side seeing different local Thailand. One more thing, the taro ball with coconut milk is a Thai dessert called Bua Loy. It is a super good taste in warm, not cold. You may ask 7-11 staff to warm in with Microwave. You may try it again. 🙂
Oh man, we've heard we messed up by eating it cold! So next time we'll absolutely have to try this warmed up. I can't wait tbh. It was so good cold, so I imagine it will be so much better warm!
Aw, thank you so much! 🥰🙏 Not sure if we’re brave or crazy? But it was a good time. Can recommend to anyone who’s afraid of flying. Sombat Tours had great service and drivers. Thanks for watching!

I can tell you a funny story about the trip from CM to Phuket by yrain and bus. I dont sleep well on trains so relird on a mild sedative. Took a 1/4 of a xanax so not a strong dose. I lay there for a while then because I didnt think it had worked, took another 1/4. Worked rather well because I woke up as the bus was pulling into Phuket. Silly me, the first dose had done the job. All I remember is getting off the top bunk and twisting my ankle. Have no recollection of my husband bribing a porter to load me on a trolley, taking me through Hualamphong and into a taxi. My son aged 6, was absolutely mortified. At the bus station, my husband just got us onto the first bus out regardless of cost. Would have been cheaper to fly. After that, I just kept the 1 tablet on me to avoid the same scenario. I'm the same with any oral or IV sedation other than sodium pentathol. That one doesnt work at all.
Oh boy, that’s a wild story for sure! 😅😂 We were rolling on the floor laughing at the thought of someone being carted around inbetween busses! Your husband is the real MVP. 🤣 Thank you so much for sharing. 😊
Actually, the taro and young coconut desserts have to be warmed by the staff first because they cannot be eaten hard like that. I really joke with you guys.😂💕
Oh man... we're just total n00bs huh? 😂 I have to imagine it would be more delicious warmed up, but tbh, it wasn't bad at all and quite tasty cold. Once we found the milk! 😅
Not all. I envy you both to travel how traveling is meant to travel by road and taking your time and take in the sceneries along the way, i would do the exact thing if time permitted me. Plane maybe the fastest but also the most boring.
We’re not sure! But hopefully we can return before the year is over. We would love to explore more of Indonesia though, but how can we not go to Borobudur and Prambanan?
Well, for us it was two fold: 1. It was less expensive than flying with our bags. As we have all of our belongings, plus the equipment needed to film, it's nearly $60 extra to fly, making domestic flights (which are usually quite cheap) almost double the price! This gets even crazier when you consider where the Phuket airport is in regards to old town, the taxis are CRAZY expensive... so this was like half the price, and for us on a budget, it just made sense when you factor in the next part. 2. We figured we could make a video that would be either entertaining or informative (for people wanting to know what overnight busses were like in Thailand) rather than just a few clips out of an airplane window like most channels. I hope this answers it. 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting! ✨
We love bus travel. We haven't been lucky enough to take a train in Thailand (except WAY back when we first started... from Bangkok to Ayutthaya.) But we're bus pro's. I don't love the process of flying... the flight may be fast, but all of the airport chaos is just not my favorite.
Flying with checked bags just gets so expensive on the budget airlines. A $30 flight becomes so much more when you factor in the baggage, fees and then the transportation from the Phuket airport to Old Town. Plus, who wants to see a video about a 2 hour flight when you can watch a video about a 24+ hour bus ride! 😂😂

คุณรุ้ตัวไหมว่าน่ารักขนาดไหน❤❤😅
Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
0:41 I had to go buy one. and try it. 😅They would be so nice on a cold Charlotte NC winter's day.
Oh no way! We know Charlotte. 😊

I kinda get your feelings about apple juice 😅
Right!? Ever since editing this video, I've been looking for apple juice EVERYWHERE! 🍎

We try to keep it contained most days. Lol. Thanks for watching!
สวัสดีค่ะ🙏
Hello! 👋🙏
I took a 50 hour bus from Calgary to Toronto in Canada once. Not recommended.
Oof, you’ve got us beat for sure. 😅😬
พวกคุณสามารถนำตั๋วรถโดยสารแลกอาหารได้ฟรี
🤯🤯🤯
Not all. I envy you both to travel how traveling is meant to travel by road and taking your time and take in the sceneries along the way, i would do the exact thing if time permitted me. Plane maybe the fastest but also the most boring.
You get it. 🥰♥️
Stealing someone’s sweet hotdog buns is a classic
RIGHT? How could you not? It's just sitting there. Those little hot dog buns were amazing and I still dream of them. 🤤
That's a hell of a bus journey! Pit stop for toasties is always a good shout 🥪 🚌
It really was! Not like sailing across the Atlantic or anything 🫡 but it was a chonky one for sure. Thanks for watching friends. 🙏
31:12 , It's boiled chicken blood.
It tastes way better than it sounds! 😬😅
The bus and attendant makes greyhound buses look like cattle trucks
100%. Thailand is way ahead of the states when it comes to public transportation.
It is boiled blood, not liver.
It’s boiled! Interesting! I’d love to see the process making it. It was so solid.
คุณสองคนน่ารักมากๆครับยินดีต้อนรับนะครับขอให้มีความสุขที่อยู่ในประเทศไทยนะครับ
Aw, thank you so much! 🥰🥰🙏🙏
Kapan ke jogja lagi 😊
We’re not sure! But hopefully we can return before the year is over. We would love to explore more of Indonesia though, but how can we not go to Borobudur and Prambanan?
Ok ditunggu kedatangannya kawan tempat yang menyenangkan👍@@mikeandashley

OMG! It's crazy traveling for me 😱
Haha, it was a little crazy of an idea, but totally not bad. We had fun. 👌

Thanks? 🤷♂️🤷♀️
Why would anyone do this unless they're terrified of flying?
Well, for us it was two fold:
สวัสดีครับคุณทั้งสอง
Hello again! Thanks for watching. ✨
🎉🎉✌️
😊😊🙏🙏
We love bus travel. We haven't been lucky enough to take a train in Thailand (except WAY back when we first started... from Bangkok to Ayutthaya.) But we're bus pro's. I don't love the process of flying... the flight may be fast, but all of the airport chaos is just not my favorite.
Yes, you’re both 🤪………😆👍
Haha, we thought we might be. 😂
👍👍👍
👌👌👌
Well glad you two are still alive! Damnit Mike, get at me bro
My dude! Hit me up on Discord. 👾 Love you homie.
Crazy.
Haha, you wouldn’t do it? 😅
I like drink wine
Same @vs123 🍷
Just fly, VIP bus hahaha
Flying with checked bags just gets so expensive on the budget airlines. A $30 flight becomes so much more when you factor in the baggage, fees and then the transportation from the Phuket airport to Old Town.
Plus, who wants to see a video about a 2 hour flight when you can watch a video about a 24+ hour bus ride! 😂😂
