@@octaviusshade7110 We are working to release during the fourth quarter of 2024. This demo is for us to gather better feedback and launch the game when we have the best possible experience. So, this date might change, but it's our current plan.
"They intertwine prophecy, prestidigitation and hentai". Yep, that's what artist in a grim dark industrial future are doing while wandering from town to town.
You know... I would have never played cultist simulator if it wasn't for one of your random high praises that you lead video like this. I'm glad that you did because that game was absolutely a 10/10 experience.
feels like a card based Frostpunk. I'm not in love with the card based gameplay for video games. For a visual animated gameing medium I just feel that there are more interesting ways of giving orders. Something like This War Of Mine had an order system that was visually more interesting.
word. they're a dime a dozen and cards as a medium for gameplay were developed when your choices were cards, dice, or imagination; don't understand the appeal of forcing them into a video game
Ok, I'm digging the art style and game play. I like Deck building games, so i'll be given this a shot and it has a post apocalypse feel which I love about it.
The devs really, REALLY, *realllly* need to do some work on tutorializing this game. I love the design! I want to play it, but I'm just staring at things at this point. Hoping to get some clues by rewatching this video...
Honestly, this isn't my sort of game but I do love the Idea that is in the indie scene of interactive art. It's like dancing amongst the pages of Heavy Metal and Savage Tales.
To be fair, I think that those card games that he doesn't like are games "inspired" on Slay The Spire. Because no game of that style has made an innovation strong enough to be called an original idea. Games like the one in this video use cards as "menu buttons" or actions.
@@ttsymphonyg yeah, unlike the StS clones, these are more board game derivatives that would usually use tokens, it's just that cards work better on a flat screen than tokens.
This video was released 6 minutes before Wanderbots released a video on the exact same game. The way these two channels desicbed this makes one think either it is a children's game or a brutality sim.
30:05 You only got one resource left because the middle number is only 1. I assume that's the amount of nodes you can get from the ground, after that you're fresh out.
I don't know why TH-cam doesn't recommend you to me anymore? I'm sub'd and you used to appear on my feed daily, but now I have to literally search your name because your channel is weirdly buried
Just finished the demo with a victory. Went into it blind and it didn't even have a proper tutorial, you may love the lack of guidance 21:06; but I didn't. Which is weird, most videos I see you do you complain about lack of description but not this. I had to go through multiple times to finally figure out what I needed to do and what building to craft. The randomness of the scavenging since its so limited really frustrates me. This game is not for me.
Tired it, got the unfair upkeep sleghammer, deinstalled. No my kind of RNG puzzle game. How is it that hard to just copie a neat deckbuilding game like RL MTG and just let me build fun 60 card decks and test it in some kinde of trial and have fun? How does it ALWAYS have to be RNG 5D chess mix-em-ups with Loosing-is-fun mechanics? - Im geeting jaded after so many years of floods of samey-games.
Try 'cue' 18 card deck. Buff /debuff. It has all kinds of cards, information, and decent art. Good deck support. OG , MTG player... But trying to collect 4 cards of each instance I'll need from a online generated pack drop isn't fun.
The whole idea of a "continuous deck game" just sounds so annoying. Like, you bloat the deck by playing the game, then debloat it through punishment, and really, the whole "game" is just dragging little paper slips on the MacGuffins, which only exist to justify there being little paper slips; there's no "card" in the "card game".
Splat has lost the plot, he will say thing like “oh that’s what that does” zero explanation. Would be great if he took a minute to explain what’s happening for those that don’t have a job of playing games full time.
I personally don’t care for video or board games that subtly or openly incorporate ( tarot cards ) method usages into their game. Not into such tarot bs.
Thanks for the gameplay and feedback. We are working every day to bring the best possible experience! 😊
Give the artists a raise :)!
Keep up the good work!
An honest question : there is a release date ?

@@brklipel Perfect ! Your game looks very great, so keep doing it ! I'll be here on the release

Everytime somebody mention Cultist Simulator I get my endorphin boost. This game does not get enough praise.
@@Annoeth Absolutely! I can't believe I passed on it as long as I did.
Really like the art style and theme.
"my tummy hurts and I'm mad at the government", I know the feeling🤣
Especially when the reason your tummy hurts is because you can't afford food.

"You must adress me as Ironlord.", the Cash Falcon has spoken.
The nerd castle is so cozy ❤
Dang it, Iron Lord! You've already put my Steam Wish List at 15 items during the last few months!
You only have 15 items on your wishlist? HOW?! It's a struggle to keep mine BELOW 400 items! 😮
@@jaredmoore9537 Just live by the policy that if a game on your wishlist goes on sale and you don't buy it, you must remove it instead.
@@jaredmoore9537 Probably because I've been gaming since 1981 and I'm difficult to impress these days.

31:17 prophecy, prestidigitation, and….. hentai?! lol, clean insert there Ironlord!
Neat art style! Can't wait to check it out!
Those aren't Hivers! Beep is the strongest warrior!
beep.
Gawl, i love how splatt can explain the games to us instead of stumbling around like every other reviewer.
Has a really nice set of themes going on, will be watching this when it's released.

Hail to the Iron Lord!
Beautiful. And I love how Shelby is the godfather of both.
Honestly, this isn't my sort of game but I do love the Idea that is in the indie scene of interactive art.
It's like dancing amongst the pages of Heavy Metal and Savage Tales.
All hail Iron Lord Cash Falcon!
I'll be honest, your "I don't like card games" has about as many exceptions as the I before E rule at this point
Truth.
I was just scrolling to see if anyone else thought that.
SC "I don't like card games really"
Also SC "This game is really RAD!"
;-)

ThankYou SirSplatt
Thanks, Splatt.
WOAH!
This game looks promising!
Thx for the video!
Looks right up my alley… +1 wish list.
Thanks for the video, Cash Falcon
Greetings, Cashlord Iron Falcon!
Commenting for engagement. TH-cam: pay our boi
Is this from makers of HighFleet, it's similar visuals?
First thing I thought of too

Why not a middle ground? A brutal children.
Splat is better
TIL that Ironlord Cashfalcon approves of construction Plinko.
A new roguelike...😍
Card based... 😭
WE HAVE A SLAY THE SPIRE HATER!!!
How would you feel about Iron Falcon or CashLord?
SHINY AND CROME!
30:05 You only got one resource left because the middle number is only 1. I assume that's the amount of nodes you can get from the ground, after that you're fresh out.
lmfao, i straight forgot about cash falcon!
A deckbuilder AH-GAIN? HARD NEXT
🖤
I would love to see a wasteland RTS, preferable Command & Conquer style.
Style and art looks great. Although I really dislike these taxation type of difficulty adjustments and it needs a bit more thought/creativity.
Praise be cash falcon 😂
I like the concept but the UI needs more information.
8:54 The Advanced Workshop produces what?! (turn on closed captions!)
Hmm interesting. It seems a bit like a light text version of Cultist Simulator and Book of hours.
Which kind of building would create more manpower? A cheap motel?
As you wish, IronLord.
this reminds me of ratropolis
Card game? Ight, imma head out
Games that wreck you for a miss-click are pretty much unplayable for me. I'm too twitchy for that.
I must have missed it.. Is this a Splattercat feature of a game without woodcutting?
They what? 31:12
I love how slyly he slipped that in there! 🤣
Freudian slip 🤣
Don't cite the deep magics to me Iron Lord Cash Falcon
interesting
Day 8 of asking to see Ironlord's wizard tattoo.
I'd rather call him Platter Lord XD
Storage is a huge issue to me. This should bd more fluid.
More like Ironlard haha! (/j no I do not know how you look like.)
Why do i think 40K when I hear Iron Hive? Also when I look at the cultist on the main menu i see Chaos Undivided

splats, you still playing mechwarrior 5?
Not sure if you knew what you were doing in this one lol
man I love everything about this
except "card game". why did it have to be yet another damn card game _aaaargh_

I still don't understand anything about this game...
This looks a lot like Nowhere Prophet, which I absolutely hated 😒. Is it made by the same folks?
You lost me at "card game". Love the art though 😊
Tried the demo. Lost when i finished the first turn??? yeah never going to touch this game.
