I spoke to Teslaunch as to why my Roof sunshade was different than the one on your video. Their explanations was that I ordered the wrong thing. I looked at the website again and I could not find two types of roof sunshade. They did offer to exchange my order for the one I thought I ordered. The problem with that is that I had to send back the one I had before they would send me the replacement. After having to wait a month to receive the wrong sunshade I could only imagine how long the replacement would take. I know now not to order from Teslaunch again. My recommendation for anyone ordering from Teslaunch don’t plan on getting the product in a timely fashion, and 0:14 hopefully you get what you thought you ordered.

Good idea to be reflective on top and more sun blocking, but I'm waiting for someone to make the inside color a light gray to match the roof pillars. This would make the interior lighter and more open feeling.

Yep, awesome review. Too bad that I ordered a roof shade for the Model Y and got one for the Model 3, which does not fit the Model Y. There were not big side clips, and one of the sides of the large one was curved, a lot so it will not cover part of the roof glass even if I could install it. So after wasting over $50, and waiting for several weeks, I end up with something useless. So thanks for the lousy advice. I'm glad you got a freebie, it is probably why you actually got the correct sunshade.

@@modernasiandad Yep. They managed to find a way to avoid not replacing or refunding for their mistake. Good thing I went to a different sunshade manufacturer.
It’s good if you have a small child. I wouldn’t cover; heat inside the car is not as bad as I thought especially for my model Y pre-tinted and I enjoy the moon/sun roof.

Finally received my roof and windshield shade. The windshield shade looked exactly like the video showed. The glass roof shade was not one piece, but a mesh screen and a separate reflector that needed to be attached. It attached to the mesh screen with little Velcro strips. No matter how I tried to line up the mesh with the reflector it was not perfect. Then the clips that connected the front shade and the back shade were tiny which made it difficult to connect the two pieces. Can’t figure out why the product I received was different than the TH-camrs. Once I got it attached it seems to be Ok. I am going to contact the manufacturer to ask why what I received was different.

Should have made 1 piece roof shade for the Model Y. Two piece is clumsy and too much hassle.

I’m surprise no one is addressing the elephant in the room! 🐘 Why in hell… Tesla does not offers an automatic-retractable roof liner like any other premium car?!?!? (I could also add: why garage opener does not comes standard equipment?!?) 🙄🤯🤯🤯🤯

I just tried to install a Teslaunch sunshade on a 2023 Model 3. The front section of the sunshade DOES NOT FIT WELL. It is too wide at the front making it impossible to push it up against the glass to install a clip on all 4 sides. Cannot get a clip in on one side. I spent an hour trying to maneuver it, but it just doesn't fit! Maybe I just got one slightly mis-sized? I don't know, but I cannot recommend it at least for a 2023 Model 3.

There is no gap between the sunroof and liner on my Model Y. Do I have to force the clips and possibly damage the roof liner in the process?
Try to use a plastic pry tool to create some separation
Does the Broadway mirror help? What size is the mirror?
I'm used to driving with a broadway mirror for over 20 years now. I like the wide angle so it does help me view the rear better. I believe it's a 300mm size.
Customer service is quite poor with Teslaunch. Ordered the shades based on your review and no drill license plate bracket but delivery never arrived as USPS stated no delivery address except for zip code! WHO PERFORMS QUALITY CONTROL AT TESLAUNCH'S SHIPPING DEPT?!

Sorry your daughter does not like it. I have something like that for my car and it takes most of the light out of you are not looking right at the sun.
