Trick for anyone not willing to invest in an parking laser: pick something hanging on the garages wall as visual reference and line it up with something from the car, like the B pillar for example. I use this method every time I park my TMY and it's super accurate. I literally only have about 30cm (1ft) of wiggle room in front and back and never had problems doing so.
In reference to the tire sealant, many EV tires contain a foam strip internally to reduce noise. The tire sealants get trapped in the foam and not enough gets to where it is needed to seal the leak.
@@harshaaleti5609 Nope. You will not see something near the floor if you go near it. Besides, 20 bucks isn't any money if oyu can afford even a used tesla.
A Tesla service technician came to my house to calibrate the TPMS sensors and I asked about the pucks, he said they aren’t necessary. Good for people that don’t know where to place the jack head. He doesn’t carry them in his service model X and Tesla will not provide them to him
I have a Model 3 Dual Motor long range 2020 model. Is there anything that can be purchased / added or done to the door seals from developing a whistle? I had this looked at when it was last serviced and it was cured for a couple of months now its back.
Your phone mount has the Tesla logo on it, but the Amazon link you share is for one with the Vicseed logo. How/where did you get one with a Tesla logo?
I noticed that too. I bought one though since it will either be covered by my phone or tucked behind the screen. You do make a valid point though. I have a feeling Andy just stuck a sticker there.
Don't think the 'rescue me' windows-thing will work since the windows is laminated :) Got one my own, but haven't put it in the Tesla for the same reason.
Edit: Wait, you are right. I always thought side windows on all cars were laminated, but turns out it's only the windscreen, not side windows. Hmm. And these hammers don't work on laminated glass. Well, they great a circular smash 'mark', but I thought you'd need to hit in many different places to weaken it enough to escape. So for our Teslas if we need to break glass to escape, we can only do it via the rear windows which are regular tempered. Interesting, thanks for educating me on this! :)
question I hope you can answer and this may be a dumb question. How do you confirm Tesla delivered you a long range AWD model y vs the long range RWD model y?
Thanks for this, all great recommendations! The fact that expensive phones and even cars don't come with a charger is such a sign of the times. Corporations getting so damn greedy. That said, I love my '23 Model 3 LR.

Except a couple things, all the accessories he mentioned are for the one who wants to trash their money :)...
A tennis ball and string works well attached to the roof
I just put painters tape down in the rear and look at the backup camera and stop once it hits the tape.

I purchased all-weather Motortrend floor mats for the front and rear for my 2024 model 3 on Amazon for $37. They look great and are very durable!
this is a great list, thanks for doing all the leg work
I love the 3DMaxpider for my reengineered M3 LR
You can also use a painters tape on the floor to tell you where to stop the car while driving back into the garage.
yea, you just have to constantly look out the window to see it.
@@HyperVegitoDBZ What about the back camera? Does it not show on it?

Yup, I use painters tape and the rear camera. Once the bumper hits the tape I stop.

For $20, I think the pucks are a great addition, plus you have 1.5" less to lift the car with your jack using the pucks.
Thanks Andy!
S3XY Knob not on the list? That's one of the best accessories I've bought for my '24 Model Y long range.
I have the same exact portable tire inflator

Andy can you recommend tire brands and shops to purchase and install on the vehicle? Thank you.
Since Tesla decided to penny pinch and cut corners by removing the USS.....anyone got any aftermarket options for parking sensors?
you used two of the derogatory phrases “penny pinch” AND “cut corners”. lol

Did you have Tesla installed your bike rack?
Lasfit floor mats are great and cheaper
I have Lasfit and I agree
its not about the price its what he has on an affiliate link

Doesn't Tesla's software tell you when you're driving over the speed limit?
Thanks for the advertisements dude😅
4:30 just don't speed lol
That option is not for some people unfortunately.. They need those extra few seconds 😅smh

You don’t should negative at all
Why are you encouraging people to drive like maniacs with the radar detector suggestion?
😀I think he got all those accessories for free of cost from the vendors to promote
Why waste money on accessories when Tesla should focus on fixing quality control issues first?
