Steep incline and -zero weather conditions...I was like OMG how can one traverse such a inhospitable terrain

Thanks, yes so happy to capture these memories. The night time was a lot darker on camera than in real life. With all the snow and the flashlights the ground was seen pretty clearly.

My father-in -law is an engineer who worked on glacier surveys in the 70’s and 80’s and he told us stories of his endeavours including loss of colleagues. Did n’t appreciate his stories until watching this and realising what he must have truly gone through. Thank You for showing us an amazing adventure and an amazing area of our planet.
K2 trek definitely beats Everest trek in all aspects. What a mesmerising, glittering, enchanting snow kingdom!!!

35:30 the boy is ended up due to huge tiredness and sickness but he nailed it as child... I know tracking in snow is a bit risky on steep paths but still you all have managed to conquere this intense treks.... Thanks for giving us such an incredible hidden gem of High altitude mountains about which we Pakistanis still don't know... I think every climber should visit these areas to make it's life adventurous 💕🌹🇵🇰💚 Bundle of love to your family... Waheed deserve utmost respect he was helping everyone fearlessly... 💚

I was out of breath just from watching you guys traverse the pass. I had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't there and could breathe normally. This shows how good the vlog was filmed and how real it felt.
Can't praise you and your family enough for doing all of this, the travelling, trekking, filming, editing, uploading. It is a lot!!
I'm familiar to how it feels when you are on a trek. There are times when you curse yourself for brining camera with you. When you are tired anything that's more weight than bare essentials seems too much. But you have done an amazing job at not only trekking one of the toughest tracks in Pakistan, but also filming it in such detail that leaves the people watching, out of breath.

Thank you. Definitely adds to the challenge as I can't expect all the porters to carry my cameras and all the extra batteries. So I was carrying close to 2x what would normally be required. The only thing that kept me going was all the planning, preparation and the fact that I knew I would regret every time I decided not to turn on that camera.

I adore the Jones family so much. At the begining "Papa Jones" seemed to really dominate the environment with his confidence and loud voice but I think it changed in due course of time as the trek progressed. First I watched the vlog only for the K2 trek. But I quickly became so keen on the family and accompanying them on their journey 🙂

I myself would never imagine to trek on that tough track but when I see your family courage & determination it’s really give me a hope that it’s possible.I never heard that two young teenagers with Parents may have done it before in both the highest peaks Mount Everest & Godwin Austin so you definitely need to be recognised as World record holder & this whole base camp track documentary need to be in Guinness Book Of World Record ❤️
