What a great learning you are providing to your kids. I do remember when I was 9 years and my brother was 12 years, our father took us to the same mountains. During that time, in 1968, 1969, there were not even roads to reach those areas, you had to carry your own food with you. Other facilities like lodging were also very scant and ancient. That was our father teaching us hardships of life and how to cope with them with limited of resources. You are doing the same with your kids, putting them in front of danger and extremely hard conditions and they would certainly learn some great and practical lessons.
It's stories like this that make it all worth it and inspire me. Thank you Ramzee.

I cried when I saw you guys made it to Everest Base Camp and I thought I wouldn’t cry again this time... but I did. And I have to say once more what I said back then: there is a certain kind of magic when you have parents who trust in you being able to accomplish tough things. And even K2 magically cleared so you could see it all. So special! You earned it! Fan forever! 🙌🏼

This was by far the dangerous trail and the worst part I think would be walking on ice as there is high chances of slipping and also those trails which had gaps in which if you slip, there are high chances of big injury but the beautiful part was walking in the middle of ice and seeing frozen chunks of water , and the gloves were found inside the sleeping bag finally

I promise you it's the safest place you'll ever travel. Persian people are so hospitable. They will treat you like rock stars, and food is tremendous.

The glacier from Concordia to k2 is called Godwin Austin. Actually k2 used to be called mount Godwin Austin

You 2 are very patient parents. I would have turned back right at the start 😆 I know as a parent you can take care of yourself but are more concerned about your kids safety. I can understand how proud you must be!
