THIS is what I've been waiting for. IzPrebuilt, Woodle, and Glock are great, but no one makes 7d videos quite like GNS. So excited for a new series, lets goooooooooooo
Glock: entertainment, spicy more adult commentary, frenzy, chaos, last seconds saves. GSN: God like editing, fun lores & background setups. Testing along learning. IzPrebuilt: pro/peak optimal gameplay, satire, sarcasm, dissing the devs Woodle: sorry i dont watch him
Oh yeah, drive thru booze. We had them in West Texas. They'd even make you a mix drink and wrap it in a plastic bag so that it's not an "open container." 😂
Hey I've always wondered, do you have ones that also sell guns? Even if it's a walking liquor store? Jw bc of media. I'm from the South as well so if it's just how they portray yall I totally get it!
@lmdirkdiggler7170 Depending on how small/isolated the town is, you could buy a gun just about anywhere. I don't recall seeing guns being sold at liquor stores, but I never really looked for it either. It didn't cross my mind that selling guns everywhere was strange until after I had moved away. I do remember finding it strange that the process for buying my first shotgun was much simpler and faster than the process for getting my first hunting license was.
Thanks , this worth watching when it’s 1h long 😮. I always hate when i see videos short like 20 minutes…. Doesn’t satisfy my need to see zombies smashing 😂
The level of awesome that is a GNS video is obvious from intro to outro!! I make 7x7 Outposts like what you built at all the Traders. I put 5 storage between the front supports. I have added a 3x3 outrigger for the Dew Collector. I also Cobble the legs in case of wandering zombie horde.
That drive thru liquor POI is one of my goto first bases/camp... concrete all round, 1 garage door and the other one/exit one is locked. I love using it, dig a hole thru the ceiling from inside, that usually only has 2 or 3 zombies in the POI.. Great base start.
been through 6 cities on my map so far and havent found one yet :( i really LOVED the old big fire stations that they removed awhile ago, they were the go to building even though they were big and expensive to defend
I'm stoked. Hype! Hype! Hype! Lets go!!! (Edit): I'm game for these 45 - 60 minute episodes too. Watching you for that long is worth the time investment. Thanks dude! 👍
So I got on today to explore beta 1.0. Early game I came across a tree house P.0.I. just as a small wondering horde came by. With a lvl 1 wooden club in hand and a bone knife for bleed I took a stand in thar tree house thinking I have an advantage over the zombies climbing up ladder to get to me. Sadly, but at lass I trapped myself with no way out as the horde pushed their filthy undead hands, bodies, and endless hunger into me. I cried out to no one “I thought I was safe up here” in a pathetically whiny yet Joker sort of laughter as I died. I had a small laugh as I respawned back into the world determined to reclaim my loss goods. Very much enjoying all the additions in 1.0 7 days to die. I am also very happy to see what story you tell in these awesome professionally done videos you post here on TH-cam.
I, got introduced to your channel with Last Act, right before alpha 20, and I, fell in love with your content since then. I've watched pretty much all of your series's fully from there(some dips at points, sorry Tem!) but I've, never fully watched Vanguard. I am, genuinely excited to both watch this new adventure, and head back at some point to see where we came from. Thank you for so many years of good, solid content, and I hope you continue for as many more years as you desire!
So nice to see a return to what started it all, in a sense. Your editing work and quality is so top notch, love seeing your 1.0 release series! Also, your playlist for the series is inverted at the moment, with Ep 1 at the bottom, and 3 at the very top.
Just by the entrance I can tell this gonna be an awesome series I absolutely love you guns nerds and steel definitely my favourite TH-camr for 7 days to die
Same in Texas. Taped shut and no straw provided. Or you can get straws in a bag usually stapled close. 😂 making sure they know if it’s open YOU did it 😅
Love your content! What an amazing start with some lucky finds and the double dipping on Crack-A-Book magazines! Really looking forward to this 1.0 series.
The thunder and lightning sound effects seem..... better now! I also love all the new inventory sounds for some reason :P Would love to see some outfit themed series!
Great first vid for the series and loving the 1.0 info as well. Have a semi trailer parked next to my starting trader, so I'm living the trucker life for my starter home. It "Gitz 'er Done!" , hehe
Wow, lucky start! The knife, land mine book, water purifier mod, cooking grill... kicking goals mate! Interested to see how long into hogzilla you realise you left those preacher gloves at home :/
I'm on day 6 of my first 1.0 playthrough with 300% XP gain, 200% loot and default difficulty. You're already way ahead of my progress with your normal XP/loot and harder zombies. You're so efficient, I'm thinking of just starting over and copying your strategies play by play :)
Toilet knife was a nice find, I found a toilet pistol and a wrench in first car I looted, suggestion for the fetch quest get the satchel ASAP then loot. I think everyone has left fetch quest and forgot to get the darn thing
@@bannankev I somehow manage to find both a toilet pistol and a toilet knife within 2 hours every time someone in my group is running agility, even if I'm not, but if nobody is running agility I never find the knife only a couple pistols. Which are still clutch even when not running agility until you find a decent weapon you're putting points into.
Honestly, the biggest hype about this new update for me, has to the new armors & definitely new vehicles. Like the 4x4 monster truck is a beast and a half
We decided to check out the earlier Vanguard series (we aren't OG enough to have seen it when you first put it out) and I encourage everyone to go back and watch it, if for no other reason than to enjoy early Temrecki, who was a potty mouthed Bob Ross (as another commenter pointed out). You've come a long way!
You've got a great start! I'm going to shamelessly copy your idea of a little elevated base right outside the trader door if I can't find a suitable rooftop within a reasonable distance to hole up on. That's a great idea!
I get anxious every tiem I see you put the boxes out in the open. I just can't bring myself to do it. Always have to put it in a hole with a little hatch XD
Awesome start. Makes me look forward to playing when it goes stable. With as buggy as the game is I'm not trying experimental, I don't care what anyone says. I say this as someone who has 5k hours in the game.
27:00ish in the Reber Residence, you missed a weapons back to the right of the basement stairs when looking at them from the bottom ; the two half-broken blocks conceal a secret crawl space!
I just started a game with straight agility tree for the first time, and really like it ... found a knife pretty quickly too (mine was also found in a toilet). And, just learned about using that thread for lacerations and used it after I got nailed right away. I'm sure there's lots of little things I still don't know. One thing I noticed, it seems like I can sprint further before getting worn out ... is that just me? Warning on saving for crucibles ... I waited past the inventory refresh and everyone got rid of then last time I played :(
Yes drive through liquor stores exist in US, too. Down in Savannah, GA and also Jesup, GA where I used to live, they had some. That place was busier than McDonalds!
We used to have a drive through liquor store/convenience store franchise in Tampa called Beverage Castle. Some of the locations looked like little castles, or well, they tried to make them look like that anyway 😅
I know that there was a drive-through beer & wine store in my hometown when I was a kid. That town was weird as it was _mostly_ dry, being in the Bible Belt. There were just these small areas where all the alcohol was sold.
Not crapping on you, but you get some amazing luck on loot pulls. I played 4 hours on a world and restarted once I got a feel for the game. Currently on Day 2 of my current play session and I aint seen no goodies like that. Hell I spent day two banging on the few tree stumps I could find for honey to cure an infection. You got herbal anti biotics offered really fast from Rekt. BTW can't stand that dude. Love your videos man. Keep it up.
yay love that this is here defiantly my favorite creator for 7d2d content. and cannot wait for the afterlife series that will inevitably pop up as well. what are your thoughts on keeping magazines other then armor ones until you can craft nerd armor for the chance at getting the bonus points for magazines while wearing?
The liquor store is a perfect early base since it's a concrete platform, you only need to add stairs. As for the Reber residence, if it's the one the floor caves in, I've died so many times in there doing early infestations.
I just started today and just decided to do fortitude (usually start with agi/str). I gotta say, bicycle seems a lot more forgiving to use compared to previous update. It slides easier now so you can actually stop pedalling here and then and still maintain top speed. Also random zombie chase during nighttime seems to happen evert 2/3 day. For example if you got ferals group chasing you on day one, chances are you gonna get it again 2 days/3 days after. So far I got some feral horde just running towards my position and zombie dog group. Nothing crazy.
The mega base would be cool if the horde base was in one biome and ur crafting base was in another like wasteland/forest so ur gamestage goes up in the wasteland but stays easy for the day to day things and u don’t get hot and stuff from the wasteland. Make sure u sink ur base footings for less collapses. Good luck hope this series is a banger
I first started watching you with the original vanguard series, so appropriate to name this series after it. Love your content. As for myself, I was disappointed with my first foray into 1.0. Turns out they messed with the controller and made it horrendous to use. Of course I'll try again but it is frustrating when you can't move around and access things properly.
Nice Video. I really like the 1.0 Update but I think they didn't accomplish what they were aiming at in the point of stretching out early game. I started a playthrough with intelect and strength and on day 9 I have got myself a quality 3 stunbaton, forge, workbench and cementmixer. As well as quality 4 Iron Tools and a Nailgun for completing tier 2 quests and going to tier 3. The only thing I don't get yet, is better Firearms than a normal Pistol. And now seeing you get a hunting knife and all those things in a couple of days. Nice try to stretch out the early I guess. But the new armor system, the way dew collectors work now, new vehicle models and so on is really, really good. Only hating the fact, that you always meet Rekt first. Well, looking forward for your series to continue. Great work. Have a good day.
Drive Thru liquor stores do exist. In Texas they look like barns. In the old days you could get a "to-go" drink as well. I don't think they do that anymore.
Are there any OGs here from the first Vanguard series?
damn..i''m early today

I watched from Episode 1, and your Vanguard series got me through a near-fatal case of Covid. Will be glad to watch this series again.

Thanks for getting me back in to 1.0 release
I'm glad to hear that, thank you for the support 🍻
THIS is what I've been waiting for. IzPrebuilt, Woodle, and Glock are great, but no one makes 7d videos quite like GNS. So excited for a new series, lets goooooooooooo
Needs then here for me.
Glock: entertainment, spicy more adult commentary, frenzy, chaos, last seconds saves.
GSN: God like editing, fun lores & background setups. Testing along learning.
IzPrebuilt: pro/peak optimal gameplay, satire, sarcasm, dissing the devs
Woodle: sorry i dont watch him
@@theovermynd3930 I recommend spartan-85. He's more laid back style but he's worth a watch

one of the few good things that came out of covid. thanks tabc.

Sounds like you know Eskimo hut out there👌🏼 gotta love the Texas doubles
@Skater11601 Dude yes. Eskimo hut. Honestly, can't believe I'm still alive 😅
Yes drive through liquor store do exist. Tho here in australia we call them drive through bottle shops 😂
We have drive through liquor and beer shops here in the North Carolina Outer Banks too. 😃👍🏻
In Louisiana they sell liquor at the gas stations and you can get drive through drinks.
Texas got them too. 😂 💜
Idk if it's still there, but there was one not far from where I lived in Niagara Falls,NY, when I was a kid. They definitely knew my mom by name. 😂
Only way to get booze ona sunday

I can personally vouch for the drive through beverage store. They do exist, well at least they do in Idaho. 🍻
They're in Texas as well
Fairly common in Georgia too. Along with a few Pharmacy/Gun Stores next door to them.
We call em Brew Throughs in NC. Do recommend. Some even offer bbq, not always good bbq, but some is really good.
Common in Australia. But we outdrink the usa
@@TWENTYB out drink the USA. Y’all couldn’t even win a war against a bunch of chooks. You’re not aloud to brag about anything.
