3:21 knives are actually very good weapons if you put points into them. They deal amazing damage, cost no stamina and can one-shot crit almost every enemy in the higher levels.
Exactly, my decapitation chance is so high with the knife I can one shot many zombies. Although this is in 1.0

You should totally do a 100 days in a game called "generation zero" (I think that's the name.) It's about survival, robots and it is pretty challenging from what I remember! Also it's multi-player! (friends only for example or even solo)

I always look forward to your 7 days to die videos. A little tip for your horde base design is you can use the non centered version of bars, security gates, baluster rails, or railing blocks and double up on they layers. You can rotate them so they're back to back and it'll give your defense more health while pretty much taking up the same amount of space. Then put a pole on top to stop them from climbing in and you're set 🤙

@@isyzen anytime! Railing block is best imo because you can upgrade the front block through the back one. For some reason the bars don’t let you 😅 Check out the afterlife mod as well! It’s pretty sick and makes 7 days to die into a whole new experience! It’s a overhaul mod that changes the game fundamentally on a level no other mod has so far! I just started it and it’s truly insane how well crafted it is!

Whenever you build a hoard base like that with bars instead of hatches put the building shape "plate" on top of the bars pointing out

More 7 Days! Yes! Love it. Hope the Undead Legacy Mod will be updated soon. I highly recommend that Mod to you too. It's the best total conversion mod out there.
I searched for it but doesn't look like its available for a21 yet. so im doing fallout mod next and ill keep an eye out for legacy!

Been watching u for like 1 and a half years and love your content I just don't want u to turn into a roll play youtuber please u are grate the way u are (love the are and 7dtd stuff + the 100 days stuff keep it up)
Not turning into anything fam just winging it as i go. Im trying to keep things interesting but believe me i have no reason to convert to 100 percent roll play. Thanks for the continued support
Still watching this, but a few things that may help you in future playthroughs..
1. when doing big builds and especially when pressed for time, craft finished blocks and place those so you don't have to upgrade every block.. i generally try to gather stone and clay and craft cobble then cobbleblocks to start.. i often rebuild a base when i move to the wasteland and just start with concrete or steel.
2. certain perks increase your chance of certain magazines.. use that to help get certain magazines when needed.
3. when building a horde base, always build at least 4 high but ideally to avoid "destroy area" mode that zombies/ bots go into after taking damage, like falling. I typically build 12 high with a 12 block long catwalk to fight them on. if you get too far from the stairs/ ladders though it can cause pathing issues
Material needed for weapon is base on quality. Not sure if you notice, there is an arrow below the item icon when you craft to lwoer the output quality.Also dont use a bar to hold the zombies. Hatch have more HP

Watching this made me realized I've never played that game legit. I just use frames to get to the top of big POI's and loot the big stashes as soon as I spawn in
If it works it works. I honestly think that’s good game design when they give you enough freedom to complete task in different ways. Even if they never intended it to be done that way

You should try Hardcore 100 days of ASA on the Center
I want to give you guys and all other folks an tip you will love! 7d2d Performance can be a PAIN. THE KEY SETTINGS: Reflections!!! With a decent GPU you can turn all settings to max when you lower or disable reflections. An extra boost when you lower shadows and a dadicated server will help also but the reflections are the biggest hit.

Just a tip for anyone playing, while it's generally not recommended to add mods to an overhaul, Shared Reading works fine (on A21). Helps me and my buddy out quite a bit.

Only thing that threw me off was the stranger meeting 2 other survivors in person is just too risky, contacted via walkies or over the towns speaker system would have added more mystery and realism. you don't see him unless he wants you to see him 😎 other than that great video Im trying to get my friend to play 7d2d so Im going to use your vid as help 😁

Pack mule in this mod is actually viable. With full pocket mods you still have 3 rows of locked inventory
@@isyzen The mod starts you off with more slots unlocked than you can even carry in the base the game. I think you would have been better off investing everything into sledgehammer off the bat and crafting a stone sledgehammer. You were far off from having to deal with the inconvenience of having to sort out a few junk items and very much in the need of something to survive.
In the end, it doesn't really matter. Something to consider maybe in the future. I do appreciate the hard work you put into this! It's well done and the effort shows.

The thing I always found dunny about zombie apocalypse is that, reallostically, you'd just need to hole up in a secure bunker for a little while (a few months to maybe a couple years depending on the scenario) with enough food and water to do so and you're good.
That would mean probably above-ground (but very well protected) or buried water tanks and either some means of producing food or a stock of food. That would be a shit ton of food bit not impossible for a single person.
The government woukd be able to accomplish something like that easily, so the elites would undoubtedly not be in any danger whatsoever.
Building with normal glass is the stupidest thing you could ever do in 7DTD. ESPECIALLY in a mod that ads FRIGGIN ROBOTS!

for future reference, you can craft lower level items after unlocking higher ones if you really need to. arrows to the left and right of the item level
