From SD9's, to SD90's there's no denying we all love the unmistakable roar of a full throttle EMD, so enjoy this compilation of some 10 years worth of EMD locomotives hard at work!
This has to be one of the Best train videos out there. Love the GM rumble, excellent footage in all settings, weather, day, dusk, night, country, city, diversity of Railroads. Beautiful job. Stay Safe out there all the Best to you
This is definitely not possible on any EMD, even in a fault condition. What you're hearing is an out of balance turbo or cooling fan. The time they make that noise is usually when they go to the shop.
Roots blown 38's. A true symphony!
Every EMD/GM fans music playlist.
Never get tired of EMDs in Denmark, nor what’s recorded in US!

There's no better sound than the sounds of roaring EMD/GMD prime movers!!!
Couldn't agree more!
Smelling rich fumes of rich smoke👍Yes Sir
You can almost smell the rich diesel fumes watching this. I love it.
It's amazing how many of these diesel engines sound like train horns and crossing bells. What fantastic pieces of technology

I was surprised to see cit 6030 again in video it's been a few years since I saw it for the first time
That video is a few years old
@@SkyhawkACE123 that cool when I saw it was on November 1st 2018 almost 7pm in Ludlow Kentucky heading south

38:52 Was that engine in notch 8 with the dynamic break also on?? Never heard that combination of sounds before
I know exactly the noise you're talking about! I've only ever heard that from an SD75I or SD75M. No idea what it is.

This is a keeper! Glad to get away from GE toasters. They are killing the hobby.
