If I was GM I would trade aldama , Zaire , and Jake to Cleveland for Jarret Allen . Recruit a big and pick up a good shooting guard. Starting five Ja , bane , Vince , jaren , Allen Bench Smart , Luke, GG, Clarke , Big Rookie . That’s a deadly roster

If I knew it was that easy, for a start a lot of players don’t want to go to Memphis unless they have no options. Or there is a chance of winning. Memphis is a mess at the moment.

The comparison of the bigs is why I think we need 2 bigs. One like a Steven for Ja’s but another who can score like Val or Jaren in the paint. If Jaren went down, what other big do we trust in the paint? Currently none. Championships are partly based on health and teams should try to be prepared for anything.
I’m curious as to if Jenkins allowed free will for midrange shots instead of shooting every open 3 if the teams shooting would be better. Not saying Zaire doesn’t have other flaws but I think he is one whose confidence and play would be better if he shot midrange shots and few 3s.
Man I would loveeeee for memphis to draft kel’le ware at 9. Great athlete who can shoot play defense screen and REBOUND.
I do not want Kuzma being a Grizzlie I would prefer Avidja. All that said, I don't think that is a position needed for Grizz and I would keep Smart better than trade for them
Mo Wagner, kind of a grass is greener argument. Here are some guys on roster that had better 3p% and better RPM this year. Vince, GGJ, Santi, Konchar, ZW.
Not sure what the move is, but they need to surround Ja with people that can help hide him in the paint and protect him as much as possible
Grizzlies had a perfect center, And he went away to fix himself up so he can play next season.
We have a wing in Gg who can also play small forward,don’t slow his growth by replacing his spot. Get ware or missi , missi plays like a grizzly already.JJJ DEFINITELY should not be a 5. They say this is a weak draft but the good centers are potentially plentiful. And lastly I’d go after scheierman out of creighton late

Being that Tyus Jones is a free agent this year, would Memphis be willing to send the Wizards a 2nd round pick for Tyus? Or the Wizards could include Kyle Kuzma and, in return, receive the #9 pick in the 2024 draft? Memphis would need to include a player(s) in the trade due to salary.
