I hope we make a deep run this year at least like wcf hopefully but I just want to make it back to the playoffs and I want Ja to get mvp one of these years
I think the picknroll between Ja and Zack could be deadly. I believe that Zack will be hard to guard one on one, especially with the lack of strong big men. Ja can't be stopped one on one. So, they will draw help defense, allowing for wide open 3's and even Ja shooting his floater while Edey is in place for an offensive rebound if necessary
I’ve seen zach live, he’s smart too. He’s not a big personality either so I imagine if Taylor Jenkins tells him to sit in for 35 pick and rolls a game I think he’ll play ball. Appreciate the comment!
Great video. I've only got 2 things. The only reason we say they're a "regular season win machine", is because of the cursed injuries in the playoffs. Also, assuming health for all teams, OKC isn't a lock for the even the 3 seed imo. Denver and the Mavs worry me more because they're the only western teams proven to give a healthy Grizzlies consistent trouble
that's fair, I just don't know if denver has the depth, jamal murray also gets those ticky tack injuries during the regular szn which holds them back but I could see those other two.
@@DrewHoops24 I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Denver took a step back, but I can't count out the best player. And I, specially have to assume health for teams, or else I've got no case for my Grizzlies 😅
Memphis won’t win it all this year because we have teams that are spending 2x. Take the Timberwolves, they have essentially doubled the salary of Memphis, you can’t overcome that. But, if I were to pick the team that is best placed for the next 5 years, given the new cba? Yes, it’s Memphis by a long shot! OKC falls apart in 2026. Chet and JW have contracts up at the same time. Both will probably be max extensions. Bam, right then, that team crumbles. T wolves have totally leveraged their future. They are destroyed in 2 years. Phoenix--done! They have 2 years max. Golden state- nope Sacramento- promising over next 5 years Pelicans- they are listing McCollum and Ingram, we will see But yeah, Memphis has an unbelievably stacked team and they are extremely young. They can all play together for another 5 years, easily and there is room for another big shot. They are almost $11 million under the first apron. They could seriously land another super star and just be totally done making moves for 5 years. They need another center to play with Edey or a star small forward. Check this lineup 1. Ja 2. Smart 3. Bane 4. JJJ 5. Edey 1B. Pippen 2B Vince Williams 3b kennard 4b GG 5b clarke They still have Laravia and Aldama?!?! Aldama has massive potential. Every player in that top 10 is fire. Probably the least talented in the top 10 is kennard, literally top 5 best 3 point shooters, as far as accuracy is concerned, in nba history. Maybe smart, who’s a dpoy and has amazing heart and leadership. Now imagine you let Laravia and Konchar go. All of a sudden, you create a budget for another freaking super star. Shit, they could land Jimmy butler or something crazy like that? This team is about to be amazing in 2 years. I think they are top 5!this year!
