Kel’el ware is the pick & still make a trade MLE that’s the way to go.
Ware is too similar to Jaren Jackson Jr IMO. JJJ needs a physical big partner for specific situations. Andre Drummond would be a good short term partner. Brandon Clarke serves as a valuable small ball partner already. Ware has great potential if he is willing to get much stronger but he is years ago like JJJ was.
Drafting Knecht means that Kennard should be traded, which I agree with to help with the salary cap. I also like Ware, too because he is one of the very few bigs that can stretch the floor. Good insight, gents!
9:38 I like Ware as well, all the tools to be an elite 5 are there. But does he play hard consistently is my only concern with Ware.
I can't figure out why Ware isn't a lottery pick. At 7'0", he can dribble, shoot, and score from any area on the floor. Go Grizzlies!

Can you guys do live streams for big nba related events. And can you guys do a whole show focused on how each player that’s in the grizzlies area of the lottery can fit with JA and Dez in pick and rolls ,horn sets and flair screens?
I liked the games that I've seen from Ware as a defensive player. In offense still raw but he will be a great lob target in pick&roll
I believe we should draft Clingan or Edey, its a need and both have potential to good options next to Jaren. One is more of a defensive option and the other is a offensive force.
I agree that one is more defensively oriented and the other offensively oriented. If Edey has a minimal offensive role, he could end up being more of a defensive stopper. Especially if he works on his body. His enormous wingspan should help compensate for his lack of agility. I see Edey as a player with an elite work ethic that fits with the Grizzlies culture.
The Grizzlies need a physician force in paint. Zack Edey isn't worth 9th pick, but he would be a useful part-time partner for JJJ. He will probably continue to improve all facets of his game as he has during his college career. JJJ, M. Smart, and V. Williams can help cover for his weaknesses. It seems the focus has shifted to matching up against athletic bigs, but Denver and Minnesota are barriers to playoff success with full-size bigs. The Grizzlies also have half court scoring issues. He has the potential to address that issue as will since he has a soft touch in the paint.
Yes, he may be a bust, but almost every player available has that potential, including Ware. Ware doesn't have a good reputation as a guy who enjoys the work.
Dalton Knecht, good player whee is he going to play? So obviously you would be moving out Kennard? Is Knecht going to play over bane or Williams jr.? No draft list in 1st round - ANYONE under 6' 6"

Knecht- High usage scorer and not worth a #9 pick. Poor man's Gordon Hayward
That's an excellent comparison. Hayward was one of the better scores in the NBA during his prime.
