Yes... no issues there. Much better than the manual thumb being in the way most of the time.

First thing I want to say is that your property location looks to be in a beautiful location with the lake right there. What I did on my Erie Ind. EM15 with the large space where you stacked the washers. I ordered Grizzly Shaper bushings that come in all different thickness. 1inch ID that was one bushing on each side and they are hardened steel. Very precise and look great. I will say when I put my thumb down it sounds like yours but retracting back up it puts a little strain on the motor like it is more of a load.
