Good job! I'm so glad you do these videos. I had no idea just how humane this kind of trapping is and with all the diseases and things it's great you are out there! My mom remembers doing community coyote hunts where the farmers went shoulder to shoulder. They'd have a big pot luck meal afterward.

Its a def possibility he's a smaller red coyote from Texas and Mexico could be making their way north on search of food. Etc. Esp after 2 yrs of hard drought. I have read they will cross breed with Grey's, which could explain his red color and aller size bc the reds are much smaller.

I mean...even retired law enforcement can (and do) break laws. So, not a great argument there.
Either way, I agree that people should do their research first. I would say, based on the last few years of my being subbed to this channel, that they try to be as transparent as possible. I'd be a bit surprised if it ever came out that they lied about something.

And the Arms Family are devote Christians who live accordingly ! So no Karen’s can say anything bad about them. People love to be too extreme with their accusing people without knowing the facts. So sad our country and the world is catering to people making up lies on good people. The Bible says: (Quote) Do not try to look for the splinter in your brother’s eye when you yourself could have a boulder in your own eye. (Unquote) Just more evidence how far America has moved away from God and in need of a Savior which is Jesus Christ.

You are so right! A coyote has no problem killing and eating family pets when they are hungry. They also have been known to go after small children. They do this when there is not enough food for them. Their population can get too high and there is not enough game to go around. If a coyote goes after my children or my pets, who do you think I will have mercy on?

We have two groups in our suburban area! They move from one ridge to the other. People who move here don’t believe us when we tell them not to let their dogs and cats out at night! Then we see signs posted on the telephone poles looking for Fifi and Fido!

Friends had their dog get out of their newly built FLhouse on move in day. They knew there was a canal about 100 yards behind their house and there were alligators in it. They heard their dog yipping, then making sounds of distress. He was never seen again. Their kids learned the hard way why they were told to close the dog in the bathroom. A fence shot to the top of his to-do list since he had very young kids. People ignore warnings and small pets pay a terrible price.

Coyotes are dangerous predators. In SoCal one even grabbed a toddler in their back yard while the mother was near by. The mother saved her child, but privately trapping Coyotes in SoCal must be illegal, because there are way to many. I'm in TX, and these pest run the streets of our town.
I could have lost a hound dog due to coyotes separated on each corner of the fence digging to get in to attack him. Until the 160 lb Rottie came out and told them off.
So, you're doing yourself and your neighbors a favor. ❤

Last year I was attacked by my chicken house by a rabid coyote. I was in hospital for a week had 4 surgeries back to back to repair the damage caused by the coyote and had to take rabies vaccines for a long time . Living in a rural setting is not city life. You have to do what you need to do for survival and protecting your own.

daniel i have a suggestion for you buddy if you scan that coyote out where the the cut is from a cable and the head you can take the taxidermist and he can fix both of those with a strip of a coyote hide and you can't tell that there was a card there if i was there i would fix that for houston cuz i know how to do that

The person on TikTok doesn’t care about the fact. All they care about is getting clicks from people. If she really believed what she said she would have reported you and if she didn’t then she is just as guilty for not doing her job to help. Anyway those who matter know what you guys do and we support you and Houston.

I understand you’re cold but in Iowa my state it’ll be -40 wind chill. Yet we’re in San Antonio and people are screaming it’s going to be 33 degrees. LOL

Crazy idea...set 2 or 3 traps right next to each other or in a triangle. Slick coyote checks out one and another gets him.
Set 2 together at the creek too. Maybe one animal gets caught, his buddy comes to check on him and gets caught too

What a lot of folks don't understand, is that when predators start invading close in to farms, that their normal prey population has crashed due to too many predators. Controlling predators allows for a better balance in nature. There is plenty of nature in Oklahoma to support both wildlife and farm life, if humans do their part to help maintain balance.
