I love her giving both equal justification to the terms ‘victim’ and ‘survivor’. The self-help world too often tells folks that they have to move beyond the victim role thereby only repeatedly shaming them and the immense pain connected to victimhood.
And thank you Ali for this sensitively reflected series. You’re a man with both a beautifully educated heart and mind.
Body autonomy and self-respect, we need more of these discussions.

Hunger is a book that i struggled to get through at times but totally worth a read to me hopefully it's helped survivors
Dear Ali, Young people who have access to books, regardless of prejudices, are available in most libraries, help them grow-up being their best, for a person who knows themselves has more power than a fake. Books need to be there to Evolve!

I'm pitching a children's book: PDiddler was a wealthy bunny rabbit who had a basement full of little baby bunnies he would play with. He would charge 100 carrots for an hour of playtime with the baby bunnies. One day, a famous rabbit who called himself John Doe 36 was sad because his favorite Island was shut down. He checked out PDiddler's bunny ranch but none of the baby bunnies were young enough for him....If I can find a publisher, I wonder if Velshi would help me sell my book

This book talks about the consequences & of survival mechanisms of REAL horrors that happen to REAL 12 year olds. Why should it be banned. Finding a book like this would have been LIFE SAVING to me at 13!
