It was my FIRST time in Japan!!! Twas a quickity trippity and I unlocked a new level of jetlag + crankiness LOL. There are so many things I wish I saw, did, experienced, and ate... but NOT ENOUGH time :( i guess I'll just have to go back!
I was definitely shook by many things, but let me share 2 standouts! For one, considerism is just built into the culture and society. Everybody smells so fresh ( like new laundry) and nobody gave off scents like Ralph Lauren LOVE or Baccarat Rouge. I think this is truly to be considerate of those around one's self. Secondly, people also eat quietly so that they can enjoy the meal and dip bc restaurants typically have long waits due to 'smaller' business sizes. If that's not a top the top example of being considerate... idk what is.

We were in Japan a few months ago and surprisingly the jet lag was light and simply meant waking up at 6am feeling super refreshed. Jet lag then hit super hard when we returned to the US
