Great video I am planning to go Tokyo to film for my channel as well and I think your video is one of the best I’ve seen so far as the information is very good and precise 😊
Ohh thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I had such an epic time there and I tried to see as much as I could! Japan is really fantastic and Tokyo is a special place! Enjoy it and I will look forward to your vlog about it 😀
Go for it!! It was a dream of mine as well but I was just postponing it until one day my sister just booked the tickets and told me ‘we’re going to Japan’ 🇯🇵 it will blow your mind, what a wonderful country and beautiful culture 😍😍😍
Yay wonderful!! If I can recommend a few spots over the other, do not skip omoide yokocho and golden gai! They are both absolute gems:) 💎 thanks for watching 🙂
Oh My God! You’ve done in 8 days for I would need to have my life time. Thank you so much for great information 🙏 definitely I want to visit TeamLab Planet in the early morning and that creepy forest by Mt. Fuji.❤
Difference between Omoide Yokocho and Golden Gai: Omoide Yokocho started as a black market alley after the WWII. Golden Gai used to be a red-light distrit known as the drop-in area for "cultural figures" such as writers, painters, actors etc, during 50's and 60's.
Best of luck on your travels! I was so close to visiting and working in Japan at one point myself. I had experience with Motion Capture and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit Japan.
@@KeepupwithCar Yeah, it goes without saying, in this business one audition can change your life. You're right, there's no point in waiting for some 'amazing and perfect opportunity' cuz it may never happen. Oh, and btw. you got really amazing cinematic/editing skills.
For me, I just go to Yasaka Ginza and Monzen-Nakacho ... Yasaka neighborhood is used sometimes as a movie site when the director wants to show " real Tokyo " instead of Shibuya (which is kind of artificial ... ) ... (and I like all the cats here) ... the nearby cemetery is the largest in Tokyo and has the graves of some the most famous people in Japan, especially Shibusawa Eiichi.
@@KeepupwithCar I get scolded by family but I love Tokyo " low town " neighborhoods so much ... high town places like Shinjuku and Shibuya look utterly fake to me ...
@@towada1066 I always like to travel to places and have a local person take me around, that way you get to know the good authentic places first! Will def go see yasaka Neighborhood next time I’m around:) thanks for the tip and advice!
@@KeepupwithCar sorry,... it is my mistake ... the neighborhood is named Yanaka Ginza ... so many cats here! (^_^) ... my family will scold me if they find out I visit Tokyo low town but I think it is so nice and comfy here !

Absolutely true! I have never felt this safe in any country. You can literally leave your belongings on the street overnight and nothing will happen to it, it’s an incredibly respectful culture in fact.
No it’s not necessary at all :). To get around using public transport might be tricky in the beginning but once you see the spots it’s nice to be able to roam around freely and explore. Ofcourse a guide would be able to tell you things about spots that you wouldn’t necessarily find out about otherwise.
I haven’t tried to haggle in souvenir shops but I know you can bargain at the Ameya Yokocho market, or even at other open markets that sell other things than souvenirs:).
Yes, you are absolutely right. In hindsight I wouldn’t go back here either, i definitely don’t condone animals being used to make money off of and they belong in nature 🥺🥺
@@KeepupwithCar It is true that there are bad stores It is a well-known story among Japanese. Some stores that offer low prices, especially if you bargain, offer poor quality fish.
Many foreigners take photos at shrines and temples, but these are religious facilities. I think it's rude to just take pictures without worshiping. 明治神宮でお参りしてくれてありがとう
I agree, I think it is important to immerse yourself fully into the culture and in the moment. But I do think that it is also okey to witness these places and perhaps some people are of a different religion and therefor cannot worship, so just going there and seeing it is also a gesture of respect.
I've stopped watching when the music started to play way to loud having nothing to do with japan. Took me right off the nihon atmosphere. And it could've been such a grate video. Oh well..
I’m sure there is another video out there for you that better suits your needs. So far, i have gotten nothing but positive comments about this video. Thanks for the view anyways :)
@@KeepupwithCar I've actually watched it all, and even gave it a like. I am appreciating what you're doing, it's just my manere of being somewhat constructive. Keep up the good work. Regards from 🇬🇧
