good to hear u are ok with crying on camera, I watched all eps at night and cried on 80 to 90% of them some from sadness some from happiness and some from how perfect the art, animation, sound, music , choreography honestly every aspect taken to another lv oh ofc not to mention the main thing.. the story telling, love your reactions and how your getting more comfortable im happy for you and looking forward to getting to know better through rewatching shows with you, much love from brasil have a great day/night!

Thanks so much I appreciate it a lot! I bawled my eyes out in a JJK reaction so I’ve accepted now that I’ll just cry on camera and it’s fine. I rather express my emotions over this story then just not letting us affect me at all! I agree every aspect of this story can make you cry whether from sadness/happiness etc, I love it!

I heard that the reason Sein left the show so quickly was because the writer wrote him **too** good. He would've solved any and all kinds of conflict between Fern and Stark and they probably would have gotten married by the time they reached Äußerst lol
It's also funny to me that we got the new opening in the same episode that he leaves the party, after the opening shows him still with the group.
Just a dagger to the heart! We miss you, Sein!

Small funfact: The old shady man looks like the frontman from the Band Heilung (on of my favorits) xD i LMAO after seeing this episode at first. I like the difference of the problem, when Frieren ask Sein to mediate between this both, cause its Ferns first time note how strong Stark actually is and Stark think it was because of the revenge for the cold cheek. I mean when Eisen hit him cause of beeing afraid oO. Sein say what 100% of the viewer always scream to the monitor :D. i like much that Frieren in this time only go with stark on a little adventure :D But yes, Himmel is him. Every Person need emotional support.

i could watch this show on mute and just enjoy the background art and animation - that turtle is one of my favorite things in this show. i literally had a 2 minute laughing fit when sein yelled out that they should just date already! like thank you please start. thank you for reacting as always!

I don’t know how the author intended it, but if Himmel were a real person my first thought would be that when he jokes about how handsome he is, he’s using humor defensively, as comic motion to prevent the bit of pain he feels because Frieren doesn’t (yet?) feel the same way about him that he feels about her from becoming visible.

The new ending gave us a foreshadowing of what will happen when Fern dies and Frieren is very scared when that time comes. Given that Frieren doesn't see what's happening between Fern and Stark but their children will probably stay with her after their death. I know that's not the same but in that way Fern will always be a part of Frieren's life. There's already fanart of Frieren being at Fern's death bed and that really hit me hard. I hope you'll do a read-along of the manga because it's very good.

It's interesting that, ever since the Lord of the Rings made elves and dwarves not like each other that much due to their differences, it's been a common theme in modern fantasy but Frieren herself seems to actually like dwarves quite a bit, maybe because of their stoic nature and the fact that they live a longer time compared to humans. And in turn, dwarves seem to like Frieren too.

I love that she got along so well with the dwarves! One of my favourite things in LOTR is the friendship between Gimli and Legolas and how they defied the norm that elves and dwarves didn’t get along and became best friends even after the books. So this made me sooooo happy to see I agree!
