Tom, Deb, and Ob would like to thank everyone who have been kind enough to send in gifts. Seriously, you guys are just the best.
I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world there would be endless time for either Tom or Ob to engage with everyone, but alas the world is far from perfect.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls TH-cam "the U-TOOBZ".

Can you imagine what that must be worth? With so many fakes and repops, their going to have a hell of a time proving it’s authenticity. The same with the Heidrych wine opener….how do you know some skilled craftsman didn’t put that on there to make it worth a mint??

Angola lives about 30 minutes from me in Leawood, Kansas I'm in Kansas city. It's been at least a year or 2 since I last saw him at a local militaria show,
Shining up the brass on that clock would be a mistake. The 80 years of patina gives it the look you expect. Always think twice before vleaning any antique or historical item as it could devalue the piece or raise concern about its age.
I think that is the first time I’ve ever seen death cards in your vids. I guess to each his own when it comes to collecting.

do you ever come across any Japanese swords or tanto? sometimes older blades ended up in army mounts in ww2 also had some excellent smiths making new swords for the war effort. they all interest me. ive found a couple cool blades that wer bring backs that turned out to be worth way more than they cost.
