Hey man! Great video! I know there are tools and ways to understand the OAR conditions systems out there but if you could make a guide on the conditions and what they mean and how to tweak them, that'll be great. Soft on youtube already has one but it isn't detailed enough imo! Again this is just a suggestion. Great video.

Came just to make sense out of this mods mess of a description, no just generic stuff and nothing specific is explained😂
When using a mod that uses OAR (or DAR previously), do I have to configure things manually myself for each mod, or does the mod do the work? (AKA plug n play?) I have shied away from animation mods that use these systems thus far due to the perceived complexity of it all. I'm not a complete noob at modding, but this has escaped me to this point. Same with SPID. Can someone enlighten me?

How do I identify mods from the legacy list? I get a an error saying "mayor issue detected" which leads me to one of my legacy mods having a condition that has an invalid line. OAR advices me to change the condition or to update the mod. I have no idea which mod it is though, all I know is that it has something to do with MCO.
I hope you fixed it already. As far as I understand :
Click through all of your animation mods and follow the file structure until you see the conditions folder
- make note of the numbers and compare them with the ones in OAR
= you now know which mod It Is so you can set the conditions via keywords when I understood correctly for example you chose IsWorn and then type a keyword like armor heavy so the animation set only gets activated when you wear heavy armor. Ill look into It someone said you can even set It to weapons etc. All those information should be available at the mod page of OAR.
The Description is overwhelming and difficult to understand, the mod won’t work either. Installed it as instructed, met all requirements and it does nothing. I want a simple animation replacer you dl and just install with vortex, no tinkering and looking why this shit won’t work. I am not the only one who doesn’t get this mod to work. Same for DAR, tried also a collection and it was a mess to download without Premium😡
for most users, it’s typically plug and play. maybe it’s not enabled lol
I checked that, it’s enabled. Simple ts checks and actions I am aware of, I wouldn’t look on youtube or google why it’s not working.

I'm doing a clean install of the game and the mod but after installing it the game doesn't launch, I already have the most updated version of vc++

is there any fix for animations not working after you've installed them? they're all checked off in the UI but my character and all other NPCs are stuck in a t pose

Un yeh pretty much.
If you want your old stuff to appear in OAR format (the menu) then you have to do it manually but it will work either way

too bad its gonna be a while for all the DAR mod to update to OAR because you cant use DAR and OAR together....
That's the best part. OAR is backwards compatible to DAR

@@Sswayeit's shows a list of legacy items, but that's it. It showed nothing about how to enable them if for some reason they don't play. This video is nothing but and advert, it teaches nothing. You could, and should have show multiple use cases for when it's olayg and ay and for when the animations don't work out of the box, much like Valkyrie combat.
