I just ordered a GoPro Hero 10 yesterday with the intent of doing some vlogging, and that Telesin selfie stick would definitely help give me a boost!

I’m just getting started properly with my YT channel and the selfie stick would be a real help. My channel focuses on caving and scuba diving and means I need to do plenty of outdoor intros and filming. This set up would really help me take my videos to the next level. The fact you can interchange with your phone is a real bonus as I shoot on both my phone and my GoPro. Also really interested in the Rhode mic you feature as it looks perfect for what I do. Fingers crossed for a lucky win!🤞 BTW the review was really helpful for a newbie like me, lots of interesting kit to research…! Oh and as an old guy trying to keep up with the kids I need all the help I can get 😊

The vlogging selfie stick is very interesting. I think I like the ability to control the shutter the most! Would make taking pictures far easier than a countdown timer! 🤯

I would use the stick to try and keep up with my young son who is learning to walk. Great that it has a tripod too so I can put it down and keep on filming when I need two hands for him :D

Love your reviews, so thorough! When it comes to full scale vlogging setups GoPro are let down by the share price of their equipment when compared to companies like telesin and Ulanzi. My personal setup is the GoPro in an Ulanzi g9-5 cage, mic adaptor and rode wireless go 2 microphones with the GoPro light (got a discount so was affordable) and i use the shorty selfie stick (came with my GoPro package). To get the best you need to mix 3rd party with GoPro! 👌🏻

If I won the selfie stick I’d use it to take low angle shots of my friend skating. I’d be able to hit the record button at the perfect moment to get good pics and catch sweet shots when they be hitting the right trick.

If I won the Telesin Selfie Stick I would first use it to push my car key out from behind the sofa. It's been back there for a few days now and I'm having to walk everywhere :(
After that, I would hold it up as high as it could go and film a walk around the town from the perspective of an Urban Giraffe.
Is it possible to vlog as a webcam (Being directly connected to the pc) using OBS and a separate mic?
Well, you can certainly use the gopro as a usb webcam, i don't use obs myself so can't 100% confirm, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
