Which setup is your favourite vlogging setup!?
Definitely the Sony ZV one Mark 2 but I do think the it's a 360 X3 would be more fun to shoot with
Sony A7RV + 16-35 f4PZ or Samyang 12mm f2 for 4k/50fps shootin ( under 17mm fov with active stabilisation crop + 50fps crop).
Sony A7IV + Tamron 17-28mm + Røde VideoMic Pro+ :)

ZV1-ii, with the stick-on filter ring for an ND filter, active stab off and camera on a crane m2s, followed a guide on yt to get an s cinitone look and the footage blends with the s cinentone on my a7 iv very nicely too.
If you have a Apple Watch you can strap it around the phone, linking it to the camera, and then see yourself while you are filming. Also you can start and stop recording with the buttons on the watch

Great advice on all levels across the board. I have a question for you. What would you recommend for a full frame lens to vlog with on out Sony camera? There are some great options out there but I'm hoping to not break the bank too much by going with a G series.
Really feels like the Sony ZV-E1 is missing from the list. For a price-to-performance and its' size, as a professional vlogger, I don't believe anything else comes close. As soon as you add photography in the calculation it gets much more muddy with both a7siii and maybe even a7iv.

Brother do you use a variable nd filter with your a7s3 setup? I have the zv e1 and always struggle with deciding to leave the VND at home or not
Personally love my Nikon z30 I’ve been ditching a shotgun mic lately and surprised how good the audio is. Slap a vnd and sometimes mist filter and it’s been great (could use IBIS but for the price…)
Would you say the Song A7SIII is the best hybrid camera to invest in? Also looking into Sony FX3 but dont believe that's considered a hybrid camera.

Is the Sony ZV 1-11 good for traveling? For instance if I was traveling to different countries will I be able to catch all angles plus talking on the camera? Or shall I say vlogging? I’m new to the vlogging world.
Your voice was drowned out by the wind when you were using the Insta360. Will the Insta360 accept a wind screen? If not, would it be possible to do a voice over during editing?
9:56 I advice against Joby Gorilla pod, they are known to wear out, they get floppy. I've never had one, but many have, I've seen several youtubers talk about them. The main selling point is wrapping it around branches, light poles, what ever you can wrap things around to get shots you would struggle to get otherwise. But I would not buy one, not after what I've heard, but you will notice them wearing, so if you absolutely need this specific type of tripod, then replace it before it gets too bad, and then camera slams into the ground.

I had borrowed the ZV-E1 for a season. Im an old dinosaur and like my 3 dial systems so I went back to the A7SIII

My biggest fear with the Insta 360 X3 is that I would scratch a lens. Did they ever figure out a solution for this?
For me, I’m currently rocking the Sony a7S3 as well, but if there was a Sony mirrorless between this and the Sony ZV1 Mark two, which one would you recommend? (All of the new ones came out after I got my A7Siii)
Ive never scratched the lens, they give u a nice cover while your not using it. But i guess it totally depends what your shooting and how extreme!
@@TeppoHaapoja That's good to know! I've been fairly careful with my cameras (and have insurance), but I do appreciate how the GoPro (not the 8), you can change the lens cover if you ever scratch it. The GoPro has been my main walking vlog camera recently due to the improvements in mic quality, but I do really want to try the Insta One X 3

you are a very cool and talented filmmaker, love your videos. but the topics of your videos have already been raised by everyone before you, I have seen dozens of similar videos. maybe you should try to go on a trip to some country / city and shoot a full-fledged travel blog or mini-movie? with your shooting skills this will be a top video

For sure nice summary. But why are all (sometimes paid) creators so excited about the ZV-1 Mk II. It’s the worse piece of sh*#%! For almost 1000 bugs you are able to get so much more than this. Love the honesty of @cameraconspirancy unless he is missing product deals for saying the truth 😅😅
HA I think its a fun little vlog camera... Theres one thing when it comes to specs, and another just to try it out and use it.
@@TeppoHaapoja yeah that’s right. The specs sounds good. But battery life is terrible, active steady with crop makes the wider lense less wide, so many useless options of colour profiles and no evolution to 10-bit. I’ve got the Mk I and those are my painpoint after 1 year of usage. Sony did not learn at all, but took some good parts away, put some useless parts on top and rised the price for what??
This video needs some EQ'ing. Lower around 3k a bit, sounds a bit harsh.
I didn't seem to have a problem with harshness. The only thing that killed me was the wind, but that's to be expected. I would assume he was using the audio out of the box for most of them, because a beginner wouldn't know how to do any of that yet. Which is why on the x3, he said you would have to buy an adapter, and some type of wireless mic. You can easily EQ it yourself depending on the software you use. I have Razer THX, and a flat Studio Headset.
I just stick with my Canon 80D, iPhone 14 Pro Max, or my Canon G7X M2. lol

I am a content creator with very similar views amount as you have and I am nowwhere near being a fulltime TH-camr (which is not my goal at tbh), and I just wonder, do you sidehustle (making commercial shoots still) or brands are willing to pay because of some other reason out of my knowledge. cheers, keep up the good work!
