Just bought the 5.1 MG on sale and immediately noticed how much wider it was, shoulda watched your video first to find out I should buy a half size smaller, though I still love it. Looking forward to the 6.1 going on sale. Puma isn't big in California, they are hard to find out here. OBTW we pronounce it "pooma".

I've not really had an issue with it carrying excess water but I would say it certainly carries more or allows more into your boots than you might find with a lot of other boots.

These boots are absolutely fantastic. They are definitely thicker than the OG hypervenom, but that’s totally fine with me. Responsive, comfortable, and a sublime touch. Can’t wait to use them in a match, season finally starting soon!
Quick question, not related to puma, in your experience how is the durability of the nike mecurial vapor/superfly sole plate, did u notice any peeling due to the split sole plate design. Boot Wizard that’s good to hear, because I’ve seen some images online of people having durability issues since the vapor 12 which came with the split sole, but honestly I assumed that if it was really bad Nike would’ve changed it slightly for the vapor 13 but they didn’t,so hopefully nothing to worry about, thanks man keep up the great work. And wondering if u can get your hands on Zlatan boots because it amazes how someone with huge feet wears a very slim tight boot, interested to see if there are any mods done to his boots

What's the fitting like in terms of laces? I suffer from pain over the top of my foot if the laces are too tight, hence why I'm looking at this boot. Does being able to widen the laces help?
i just bought a pair mate and they are incredibly comfortable. they mould to your foot and the laces can be adjust with ease. They aren’t too tight the laces but still snug your foot well. I would definitely purchase them, or try them on and see for yourself!

I suggest half a size down for both the future 6.1 and the phantom GT elite. If you have a thumbs width approximately at the end of your visions then go down. If you have practically no space at all then don't
Hii James, disappointed like yourself. When these came out, I expected that they at least tweak the shape to a more narrow fit. The 5.1 was a tad bit too wide for me.
I love em but there had been an issue with it and it is their durability i bought one and used em for around 2months and they ripped off but i thought it must have been some defective piece or i did something wrong so i bought another one bcz i liked everything else and here it was it didnt even lasted 2 months now

They are soft and the texture and coating is slightly sticky but the nature of the boot means that it doesn't feel like the HV1 overall, you do get that sticky feel a bit but the rest of it isn't similar. But soft and sticky it is.

Probably never while they're at the price they are. You pay significantly less for a puma boot than you do for a Nike elite or Adidas + level boot, one of the cut backs to get the boot at the lower price is no string bag.

when i first saw the 6.1 on a chinese website, i was so sure it's a knock off cos it has all the traits of a fake. Never seen before colourway and, 6.1 instead of 5.1 cos it sounds newer and better. Durability is super hard to comment on, it's different for every person based on usage frequency, weight, gait, play style, so many things come into play. If i see a durability problem I'll comment on it but I never really address overall durability as it's too variable.
That's literally why TH-camrs remind you to like the video. Statistically proven that if youtubers don't ask you to like then you're very unlikely to, And if you don't like the video then the youtube algorithm doesn't push the video and therefore a lot less people see the video. Just how youtube works.

I've not had any superfly or vapor durability issues and I don't use the FG mercurials on AG I use other boots. Too agressive

Certainly a wider fitting boot. I don't dislike it but I was expecting the same and expecting a shape change.

As long as it's a nice AG surface it should be okay. The pattern and shape is fine, the studs are a tiny bit long.
