@@garyallsebrook3493 I see your point, but this wouldn't even be good in that circumstance; considering it can barely blend any of the food items, meaning you miss all of the health benefits; and the strainer gets clogged almost instantly, so you can't get anything out to consume if you use it. It's just not a good product.
Thanks for the review ! I would’ve been mad if I ordered this especially since I’m considering adding spinach and some of the same stuff as you.. I’ll just stick to my home ninja blender for now lol
The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
I love that you are an honest person and you devote your channel just to help to save our money. And you’re not seduced by big companies that would offer a lot of money to you to give a good review for them. Thank you
I just added a blend jet to my cart at one of the online stores but before purchase, i wanted to see a review of the blend jet. i'm glad I ran across your review as the blend jet did exactly what i expected. It swirled the banana and spinach around, leaving chunks and did not blend well. I cancelled my blend jet order. thanks for your demonstration and review of this product.
My guess is that the engine is too fast but has too little torque. As soon as I saw that vortex looking almost like a perfect column of air instead of a cone, I already expected failures. It was later confirmed when blueberries and banana pieces were just spinning at the same height. If the food doesn't touch the blades, what use does it have? NONE! Maybe if the blender was just a little bit slower with more torque, things should improve. Good idea, bad execution.
1) I ordered a Blendjet blender vs other similar products on Amazon because I loved the story about the Blendjet founders - only it turns out that the design is US made but the blender itself is made in China ! Had I wanted a China-made product, I would've ordered one from Amazon, delivered the next day and for less than £21 ! 2) Today, I made my first smoothie with a very ripe banana, some fresh mint leaves, protein powder, oat milk and frozen mango. The only thing that was properly mashed was the banana. Although I repeated the process 5 or 6 times (and added the small mango pieces little by little), not only did the mango not get smashed, but also the mint leaves and I had to chew all that because I didn't feel like putting everything in my normal blender to get the result in 20 seconds (my Lidl German-made is a small yet super powerful blender, not a large one, and only cost me £14.99). Since ice is harder than the frozen mango I added to my smoothie, how on earth does this blender achieve to crush it as it boasts to do ?!!! 3) What is that sieve for ? And how am I supposed to drink my smoothie ? That ribbed edge is quite unpleasant. That proud "California design" didn't think of adding a mouth spout to drink comfortably from, well well well... Even some of the Amazon models had one... As a result, I had to transfer my smoothie in the little Lidl container that has a mouth spout and chewed on the mango and mint morsels instead of drinking them. :((( Consequently, I am sorry to say that I don't think that I can leave a favourable review. This product has fallen below my expectations and it seems like an utter waste of money that will stay on a shelf, rather than going outside with me. I might as well prepare my smoothies/protein drinks at home and carry them with the convenient Lidl containers that I made them in. I think that about sums it up. I am usually happy with the products that I buy online and more than happy to leave positive feedback but not in this case, I'm afraid... Especially for the price and having had to pay an extra £15 in customs fee, not to mention having waited 6 weeks to finally get it. :(((

Watched other reviewers on this product with a much more positive review so went out on a limb and bought the blender and I couldn’t be happier. Seems as though what you require is a full blown blender not a “on the go” travel bender 😀
I don’t think ur suppose to be blending everything in that little thing. I mean obviously its not gonna be as powerful as a big blender per say but for convenience and it being a travel size, it is as good as its gonna get.
Portable blenders are all junk. Quality blenders will max out your wall outlet, have a beefy motor (lasts forever, doesnt overheat), will have a jar that is thick Triton or glass. Portable blenders are Chinese junk that will only disappoint and then fail in a couple months
I already know the answer before watching the video. A regular blender runs at about 500-1300w. That battery wouldn't be able to produce anything close to that. Probably does about 30.
Thank you for this, James 😊 Awesome video, as always! Can you tell me your opinion of your Ninja, as well as the model name/number? We are looking to replace our Magic Bullet. Thanks so much!!
Got this for my birthday. I like it. I use it mainly for whey protein shakes. It's much smoother, fluffier and easier to clean than a traditional protein shaker. It's also good for soft fruit smoothies. The reason why it kept stopping when you were starting it upside down is because it has some of a sensor which stops the blade when it has no reason to blend (like water).
Thanks guys you stopped me from buying this from the shopping channel. I was full on to buy it, had in in my cart and everything but decided to take a moment and check some reviews.
Yeah that motor sounds very weak, a huge drawback to the intended use of a portable blender. It definitely needs a better battery if they ever make a future model with a stronger motor. Also some swappable blades might be a good idea too, and I’d ditch the strainer thing since chunks get caught and block the liquid. And I’d bump up the ounces to at least 14oz, even 13oz would be acceptable. Still portable, but allow for that little bit of extra space that’s needed. It needs speed variations too, like a turbo button or something, not just one uniform speed, it’s clearly not enough to completely blend all the ingredients, because it just turns off. So there’s lots of room for improvement here, hopefully they watch your review and read comments and take critical feedback on this, it could work, it just needs more effort put into it.

Thank God I watched this!! I have this in the shopping cart and thought “hmm let me google some quick reviews before I spend the money” 😂 I was very close to having a disappointed birthday boy! Thanks for making this video! You answered everything I would’ve ever asked!
Yeah, no! Thanks for another great video James even if the blendjet is a piece of crap. Speaking of chunks. This thing blows chunks. Love your videos!
James! Just found your channel and started going through your video catalog. Awesome videos! and of course...GO HOOSIERS!
I think someone has a man crush on the big beefy Kyle 😍
Thank you my husband was all hyped up about this thing glad I watched this review
Man I wanted to have high hopes for this. I could just see me using this all the time. But crap
Big Clive has already reviewed 2 others. The problem is the while charging it could shock you with mains power if not safeguarded against. The other protentional problem is if it has a safety cut-off when it's open.
I think the cheapo Chinese ones Clive looked at are better. Minus the one that could cut your finger off.
i want someone to pull this up in an airplane! xD
These videos are always fun to watch, thanks for making this content for us :)
Answer: Yes but no.

So glad I've watched this. It was on my wishlist! Thank you!
What I got out of this review, is this blender is for quick on the go smoothies. Comparing it with a Ninja is ridiculous. I have a Ninja, no fare comparison. Next....
I love your reviews. Please review ball throwers that are automatic for dogs. Where dog loads the machine to throw the ball. Lots to choose from. Would like your help.
12:45: Me when I look in the bowl while I'm pooping.
Your walls watch out we have a Kyle lurking!!!😱
Omg..that guy is enormous!
These are the kind of reviews I look for when I google product reviews
First every directions I’ve read told you to cut the stuff in small pieces and not over fill. Which you clearly did not do so that might be part of your problem and your other problem might be not following directions. Lol🤣
Deanne Smothers he kept holding it side ways..... pissed me off
Hate to tell you I tested this blender jet it sucked two ice cubes not crushed up and kept stopping
Yea you're supposed to do stuff in small pieces and he turned it too slow. I have one and it works pretty well for me. I haven't had issues yet and I've had it since my birthday (May 7th)....soooooo idk just read the instructions. And it does also say blend 2 to 3 times as well
A new video review is always nice, Good job.
