I used to have one of those staple-less stapler. I think I might still have it, but hell if I know where it is. It's one of those things that you inevitably lose sight of in the middle of moving. In any case, I absolutely loved it. Yeah, obviously it has its limits, but for the kind of use I gave it (mainly creating small "notebooks" out of discarded documents so I could use for temporary notes) it was perfect. Mine was way smaller than that one, though.
So what if he nva worked construction or in a kitchen..is that some sort of requirement to do a product review? Lots of places you never worked either friend! Your comment on his review is absolutely worthless.
I cut onions every day. I could not live with out my Steel bar of soap. A little dish soap rub your hands .... smell is gone, mine looks like a used bar of soap ,
Well, it's really an old chefs trick as well, just rinse the knife blade after chopping garlic and then rub your fingers along the blade a few times under running water... not kidding, I've done this for decades without injury and it works perfectly.

Most people i know would use soap to get rid of the food smell...kinda like normal things around the world....you wouldnt find it normal if you live a smelly daily lives ofc...poor those other people around you guys...they had to put up with all those smells you kept on your hands😌😌😌...bet these people dont even notice they are smelly
@@nickraph67 you are desperately trying to split hairs. Of course it's normal for people to wash off food smell from their hands after a meal. But the point is, spices like onion and garlic are NOT yucky disgusting excrement type of smell. They smell fine. To some people, especially chefs or culinary professionals, they even smell good. Yeah, wash it off, even if it smells like fried chicken. But the super disgusting portrayal is cringe-worthy overacting.
Rub Away is made of stainless steel, that's why it works. Stainless Steel binds with sulfur molecules in your hand, it literally lifts the odors off your skin. Touching or rubbing stainless steel is good for getting rid of onion and fish odors. It is also good at getting rid of garlic smells.
I remember in school some of us would fold the corners of the papers and then kind of tear the middle of that and fold that over. Also the pennies don't smell, it's your sweat that reacts with the pennies =)
Just FYI..."metal" has no smell. The smell comes from the oils in your skin reacting with the metal. Specific, very pungent compounds are created when your oils react with various metals. This is generally not the case with certain stainless steel alloys with a high chromium content, so at best stainless steel can be neutral. Whether stainless steel can actually remove certain odorous compounds or not is iffy. There is genuine research into that question and results have been about 50/50. The actual chemistry involved doesn't really support the idea that it can remove all smells, but it does support the idea it can remove sulfur-containing compounds (such as in onions and garlic) and there is enough anecdotal evidence to support testing it. The general idea is that the chromium oxide on the surface of some stainless steels will react with the sulfur compounds in things like garlic and onions in a way that it is easily washed away by water instead of locked up in oils on your skin. The whole point of using soap when you wash your hands is to strip these oils away which contain odor causing compounds, other oils, and microbes. While a stainless "soap" will not necessarily do much for removing skin oils like real soaps do, it reacts with sulfur compounds (and perhaps other compounds) and draws them out so water, the real cleaning agent in life, can just wash it all away. Also, while stainless steel will not "kill" bacteria and viruses per se, it will not accumulate them either, and if you are handling garlic or onions, those happen to be anti-microbial themselves (when fresh). The stinky stuff might offend you, but it's hell on bacteria and viruses.
We have those same stainless steel straws, I actually thought I would be annoyed at the angled ones but I love them. They're thin enough to fit in everything, too!
Actually the oils are secreted as the body’s attempt to break it down, do to the fact that your body finds it to be a foreign object. It’s not the reaction with the metal that causes the smell, it’s literally just the smell of the oil your body rapidly released
The thing to remind people is that stainless steel soaps are odor eaters and NOT for getting rid of bacteria. They work by transferring the smell of the metal to your body. Rubbing your hands on any stainless steel thing, even your metal sink will do the same thing. Just don't replace your regular soap with it.

In any case, I absolutely loved it. Yeah, obviously it has its limits, but for the kind of use I gave it (mainly creating small "notebooks" out of discarded documents so I could use for temporary notes) it was perfect. Mine was way smaller than that one, though.
try durian with that metal soap 😂
🤣
I didn't even finish the video. I straight-up just bought the soap after I saw that it worked. What the heck, that's pretty cool
Just know that it doesnt get rid of bacteria. So it's not really soap. It's just replaces the smell
doesn't get rid of bacteria tho, only smells
@@booty_hunter4207 sometimes soap doesn't get the entirety of the smell away, so getting rid of the odor forest, then the bacteria would be cool.
I love how hes always so happy

Imagine the steel soap slipped out of your hand and hit your foot
And cracked the tiled floor…
its not solid lol its hollow
Do they make the steel straws shorter so they may be more cocaine snorting friendly??
A tubing cutter would fix that up nicely. I don't snort stuff, so I don't know whether the diameter would be an issue.
Just roll up a bill.... LOL.. People these days.
I love your reviews, especially when they also provide reminders if why I don't go to Starbucks.
This dude has obviously never worked in a kitchen or construction if he's that disgusted by the smells on his hands.
He obviously never touched a fish
So what if he nva worked construction or in a kitchen..is that some sort of requirement to do a product review? Lots of places you never worked either friend! Your comment on his review is absolutely worthless.
Yeah he's kind of a bitch.
Yeah, you obviously dont have a dishwasher with you

For the steel soap You should have said “this steel soap is a total steel”because I’m a sucker for puns😁
That was very punny
Yeah,yeah...for sure lol
Not funny. Didn't laugh.
I cut onions every day. I could not live with out my Steel bar of soap. A little dish soap rub your hands .... smell is gone, mine looks like a used bar of soap ,
You've been holding out on me all this time?!
@@Freakinreviews LoL I guess so.💚 I have also seen these at dollar trees. Have fun in Hawaii.
Well, it's really an old chefs trick as well, just rinse the knife blade after chopping garlic and then rub your fingers along the blade a few times under running water... not kidding, I've done this for decades without injury and it works perfectly.
@@Cerevisi stainless sink works too. But I guess folk have to reinvent the wheel for other folk to think they've found the latest thing
I love my metal straws, mine came with little rubber tips so that helps with not banging your teeth
Angie Mayer can you add the link to the set you bought? Thanks 😊
The straws with silicone tips are the best! I use them all the time.
Thanks for doing these awesome reviews!
The rub away is made out of the same thing as your stainless steel sink. Save $7.00 and just rub ur hands on the side of the sink under running water. Or use any kitchen tool made of stainless steel.
DAISO has them for a dollar.
My knife is made of steel!!!
I just rub my balls.. also made of steel.
@@gregoryg6999 thank you Greg. Not sure how to respond to reading this.
@@chinaman1 just woke up, and I thought yoou meant "your wife is made of steel"😊, lol, as in your wifes heart..silly me
What's so disgusting about onion extracts?
People eat onions, for Pete's sake.
Isn't this over acting?
There are a lot of food items that don't smell particularly pleasant when they stand alone. Let's not forget that while the senses of taste and smell are linked, but they're different.
Of course it's over acting.
It's a video meant for fucking idiots.
So, you never heard people dont like their hand smell like the food they ate after they are done with eating?
The stapleless stapler I found to be the most interesting.
I’m assuming the shopping bag holder has something that the carabiner of its size doesn’t.
Dude lookin like Mr. Eggman off Sonic with those glasses
That's funny
Lol😂
Which, we can all agree, Eggman was stylin'.
It's DOCTOR! Eggman to you sir...

Doctor: I found rust in your arm pits...explanation?
Rub Away is made of stainless steel, that's why it works. Stainless Steel binds with sulfur molecules in your hand, it literally lifts the odors off your skin. Touching or rubbing stainless steel is good for getting rid of onion and fish odors. It is also good at getting rid of garlic smells.
Will it get the gasoline smell out? Using traditional methods doesn't work too well for me. I have to do several rounds to get it out.
I bought the steel soap. It works great. I also ordered the bag carrier clips, they should arrive in a few days.
I remember in school some of us would fold the corners of the papers and then kind of tear the middle of that and fold that over. Also the pennies don't smell, it's your sweat that reacts with the pennies =)
I think this is the most hilarious video you've done. Unintentional humor is so hilarious.
Oh about that steel plates... it's not really "steel" smell you get usually: it's OIL. Traces of machining oil.
There’s something wrong about how he was touching that pickle
Btw save some money, if your sink is made of stainless just rub your hand on the sink.
We have those same stainless steel straws, I actually thought I would be annoyed at the angled ones but I love them. They're thin enough to fit in everything, too!
My guy, onions are delicious. Show them some respect :(

The metals don't inherently smell, they react with oils on your skin thus causing the scent.
Actually the oils are secreted as the body’s attempt to break it down, do to the fact that your body finds it to be a foreign object. It’s not the reaction with the metal that causes the smell, it’s literally just the smell of the oil your body rapidly released
I wouldn’t be surprised if that hand clip is on a weird fetish site.
