Man, if this new generation had the chance to go to just one party in the 90's and seen what it was like back then...... They have no idea and that saddens me. 92 to 2000, best times of my life!!!!!!
The 90's party/rave scene was one of a kind. we are all that remain, so it is up to us to bring it back. remember the love you felt, the heat, the passion, the bass. The vibe will never die and lives within all of us, keep the vibe alive.
I'm 42 right now, but all of a sudden this song plays and I'm 16 again, and everyone who has been gone for so long is suddenly back in my view. I fucking miss the imperfect and unpolished rawness of this time. The 90s were a helluva drug.❤

I was just an kid when i first heard this amazing song. Back than i couldn't truly understood it's subliminal message. After so many years i had understood what she really wanted to disclose at an very profound, deeper level regarding other civilizations, entities from within other dimensions in space and time. Love you all WE ARE NOT ALONE AND NEVER WAS !
Heard this tune for the first time when i was 12 way back in 97 - it sounded ahead of its time. I can't recall where I heard it, but can remember It wasn't long after watching 'The Fifth Element' at the cinema. For some reason my mind fused this tune with that film.
The Fifth Element came out in June 97...the song was not long after, I'm certain it was playing in the clubs before it hit charts. Good memories. It has an even more bittersweet vibe now that I did. It was nearing the end of a wild and fun decade
@DavidDay-i3b I read that it reached no.1 in the UK singles chart in May, although i know I first heard it after that, sometime during the summer of June/July. A month later, my folks arranged our first trip to Paris and EuroDisney with them. Then, shortly later, that same month Diana passed away! The memories are still deep, and even though my adult era began from the early 2000s, I still look back at the 90s and think to myself what a special, carefree period in time it was. In a way, I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to be part of it.
Ah ok. I didn't realise that it was before the release of The Fifth Element. So September was your trip to Euro Disney? I bet that was a great time. I was in my mid 20s in that year. I think it was the last great decade certainly in terms of music
@@DavidDay-i3b oh, it was brilliant, great memories. mid-august time we went to EuroDisney as part of a packaged coach trip to Paris. Definitley the end of one of, if not the greatest era's around. I've heard a few people say that it felt like a little of the 90s seeped into the early 2000s somewhat, which I sensed - that was up until around 2005 after which a lot of things just frazzled out, lost its creativity and just became mediocre (including music, film, tv etc).
Yes totally agree that early 2000s was pretty good in the way of music, film and TV and between 2003 - 2005 was kind of the last whiff of anything close to what came before
man the mid to late 90s "commercial" was literally like Goldie, Massive Attack and Bjork and Moby and stuff, it was like, going to a fast food restaurant and getting chateau briand
Man, i remember these from the 90's disco's and rave's!! Great memories also got chuck Utah saint's tunes in the mix too. The trance scene back then was so good.
you know the weirdest thing here, I was back home in the summer from Uni and this band played at Exeter's Cavern club, a dark underground smoke-filled live band venue in front of an crowd of around 80, including me. I had no idea who they were, thought the live version of this song was pretty decent, but nothing "special". 3 weeks later, UK no.1 with this song. Hey, what do I know!!
Maaaaan I was 13..., traveling back to my hometown by myself and waiting at the airport in Zurich for my connecting flight for 6 hours. I think this song played 3 times on TV so I always remembered it.
Genuinely one of the greatest comments ever. 90s was the absolute best times, occasionally being in a field in the middle of nowhere everyone around you chewing their jaws off listening to Happy Hardcore
This is the radio edit (first track on the CD), Then next is the Black Olive's Extended Mix, Then Rollo & Sister Bliss remix, then Matthew Roberts' Cloud 10 Mix, And last it's Ganja Kru Remix. The Black Olive mix is the proper mix (so to speak) before they radio edited it.. And yeah it does seem a little less aggressive on the drums, I'm guessing you mean this one?

So true 💃💖🎵
Vincent Vega you and me both. You gave my exact favorite years.

Agreed. House raves, raves in warehouses, car parks, abandoned islands. Not a fucking mobile phone in sight. We had it so good.
@@remer83 im 23 and that's literally every rave i've gone to.... not sure if ya'll quite know what you're talking about

25 at the time here and when this hit the clubs everyone went nuts in Exeter

Massive tune, perfect sound effects
Hauntingly beautiful.
I’d never heard this style of breakbeat before. First heard this track on mainstream radio in the 90’s and it melted my brain.
it was called drum&bass
this is not drum & bass. @@zerohours.

Classic tune.
I never got to see them play live. Still listening 94 - 24
What a voice
I miss 90's beats. Even this, a pretty commercial song had amazing drum loops

@@fruitylerlups530 Absolutely - so eloquently put 👍
don't forget the sick bassline
Listen to those 909 drums sing
Back when loungey/dreamy Drum&Bass ruled the airwaves in the UK.
In the US we called this Trip Hop or Downtempo. Still a favorite genre of mine and I still listen to this cd.
@@synapsepi9257 Olive are a trip hop band from London, And yes this song is trip hop! The trip hop sound originated in Bristol England :)
this song is not trip hop. This is breakbeat@@mozzjones6943

Probably pertinent to put a VHS player in the suitcase along with the VHS tapes, if you are planning on waiting until the end of time and all.
I cry…
Nostalgia! 💓
Wow!⭐️ 💕
In fact they inspired sonically Madonnas Ray of Light album, and obviously Frozen. Olive have a contract with Maverick Records to made the 2nd Album.

I understand now. I understand why ATB remixed this track. It's a timeless piece.
This version was not used in Europe.
..this "matter of time" - in a way, has haunted me, from the Female Experience, over 10 years - now - seeing the picture, it'll b probably continjUU..

Wooww!! just listen this song yesterday!!! atb version, is better for me👌🏻👍🏻💪🏻

Copied the fading radio reception, genuis
I always thought this was an ATB original.
Whog gere from FKA twings
HD my ass this was mastered on a standard definition format like digital betacam back then. 576 lines.
field of the year old daughter
It seems like the original author of this great song is missing ... ATB is the dj
atb covered it, this is the original
Why the synth sounds choppy at the beginning?
To much overuse of the drum track on this version. Nothing is better than the original CD 💿 version.

Buy a copy, children's book on Amazon: Hey Mon, Cool It
How is this in any way HD video? Upscaled VHS, maybe? Pointless all the same.
