It was 1978, I was 11 years old, and my first large scale glider build was this the Mark's Models, Wanderer... during the summer of '78, I spent the summer staying at a family friend's home in San Jose, CA, and on one walk to a nearby strip mall, I found a hobby shop. There I found the Wanderer and I had to have it. After the summer was over, I was sent home on a Greyhound bus, and with me, my new Wanderer model. He literally has the biggest smile when it starts playing and get's sad when the plane get's stuck in the clouds. Stardust was a pet project for Thomas Bangalter - he then decided to give all his genius to Daft Punk. Timeless music from one of the greatest musician of all time.
Wow I never knew this! 🤩
@@Cheesite thomas bangalter IS french ..... Let's goooooooo🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
forgot to mention how before doing Stardust he did Modjo and dropped that gem Lady (hear me tonight) along with the song One More Tiem from Daft Punk, they represent the Holy Trinity, Thomas Bangalter used the same sample for these 3 songs.
@@jonathandrouin8717 that was Modjo bud. A different French duo. Thomas didn’t have anything to do with that. However, Nile Rodgers was a writer on that song :)

Music is a healer.
Not everybody knows this song was released, among others, by Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk. And it's arguably the greatest house song ever released.
The rumor goes that Thomas disbanded the band because it was getting too popular and he did not want to take away too much from Daft Punk, I'm guessing because Discovery was on the way. It's pretty cool that the prototype to this song was just an impro one night in a club...

I love how music from groups like this and Daft Punk is getting its own vintage vibes, like the vibes that it was emulating from the disco age.
Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk Silver helmet member) colaborate in this song.
I think you guys overlooked the point in the OPs comment . He's saying that they were having nostalgia of the Disco age vibes(daftpunk and similar at that time, which is vintage to them) while we are having the nostalgia of when those bands were in their prime( now vintage House vibes. ) It's interesting when you put it like that.
