I saw in the cast it says Michael Douglas is D-fens/ Bill Foster I heard him being called Bill but I never understood what d-fens meant can someone tell me what d-fens means it stands for.
@@TK-sg8qq he's a racist prone to violence whos ex has a restraining order against him. He's probably going home to kill her and his daughter. What would he have a field day with these days that you would agree with?
Such a cool film. I wish there was less context for why he was doing it and it was just "I'm a stressed man" rather than the whole CIA missile-builder thing.
I don't know, it provides cutaways but I think it could have been made effectively if he wasn't a missile builder and wasn't going to see his daughter, and it was just this guy losing his rag at how bad the world had got and continually bumping into things like the construction site that reinforced his stressed-out ideas
Destro7000 I think they added a complex backstory in order to provide an impetus for his actions. Most of the situations he encounters in the movie are minor annoyances that most people face in daily life. They needed to give him a reason to be the exception, someone who was just ready to pop.
Yeah, Arnold's right. The idea behind Bill is that you can understand why he's doing what he does in the movie, and you can sort of agree with it, but you understand it's wrong. If he was just a stressed dude with no context, then you get a movie about a real world gta protaganist.
It is possible and common to make movies about main characters you don't agree with or understand who do wrong things. I don't think D-Fens is a good guy, and changing his backstory between CIA missile builder and stressed member of the public doesn't really change the fact that he went on a rampage.

Good point.
This is the music that would play every time D-Fens would walk away from owning someone.
Gregory Alan Bailey he wasn't called d fens it was William Foster
He's literally listed as "D-Fens" at the end credits. I mean sure, he's named Bill Foster but G.A.B. isn't wrong, either.
