Over the course of 3 years I listened to McKenna every single day. My work was solo cleaning, and I'd put my headphones in and listen to him for 3 hours. Here's the conclusion I've reached about. This man is a wizard distracting you with his charm, intellect, cleverness, and ability to maneuver around the English language in a way not many can. He's veiling truth, there's specific reasons the books of the nag Hammadi weren't included. It's because they claim you must do good things in order to achieve salvation through Jesus. The Bible is claiming the only thing you can do is confess with your mouth Jesus is God. Gospel of Thomans 1:114 "1:114 Simon Peter said to him, "Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life." Jesus said, "I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven." Mckenna is preaching the gospel of today's society. Making the male and female one. As above so below. The unification of opposites. (good & evil). In a discussion with Ram Dass, Mckenna told everyone he wants to take the tail of the snake and put it in it's mouth. Ouroboros, which is rebirth, immortality, and cycles. Our society claims we can be God. And that's the ouroboros Mckenna is attempting to awaken in us. To repeat the cycles of histories passed, by straying away from Jesus. And the nag hammadi reveals Mckenna is much more open to a leader that isn't God, and that preaches God is the same as man and man is the same as God. Be careful with Mckenna.

I honestly believe that Terence McKenna is a reincarnation of Thomas the doubter First of all I just love the guy to death & I know this may sound like a crazy strange thought, but please bear with me Terence McKenna Thomas The doubter, weirdly similar Plus he explains how he truly felt being this way was his destiny I know it sounds quite nutty & out there, but think about it He knows it’s him & has no clue what to think about any of this, but you can tell the story being him to tears, because he know it in his heart
All I can think of is that reality is pure consciousness; that only Anokhi exists, purely and solely. That what we have is ascending degrees of perception, and the ultimate is perception of pure consciousness “out there”! I can express the essence of it: reality refers to something above, beyond and outside itself; it is (literally is) an idea about something else; it is not so much information but an idea or concept of something beyond it (itself). Hence I discerned info “recorded” or “encoded” into/on it. What I have been missing is: this causes reality-not just to be a vehicle for info-but, as a vehicle, to be caused to refer to something outside itself. Thus it signifies (as what is seen) what is not seen, and this (my notseen) is my surd. And I know what that (surd) is: it is God impinging on reality (but distinct from it, Spinoza to the contrary). Hence this is why I saw “pretextual cause” and “camouflage”; this (new) concept subsumes both these earlier perceptions/conceptions
This is fascinating. I never knew about this side of Jesus (though I was aware of Jesus being portrayed as a mere man in Gnostic texts).. However, with all the Mandela Effects related to the Bible, I'm skeptical of everything I read now (seriously, "the wolf shal lay down with the lamb"?? It was always "the lion shall lay down with the lamb".. There are only about a million references to it in our culture, yet those words were never written in history.) I wonder how McKenna would try to explain the Mandela Effect.. Glitches in the Matrix, maybe?
(114) Simon Peter said to him, "Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life." Jesus said, "I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven." The gospel of Thomas Logion 114 - christianity really gets funky with what the actual "christ" was saying
If you read the Wikipedia article on the Gospel of Thomas you find that the dating is far from certain it is argued that this Gospel borrows from the Canonical Gospels such as Luke, which would give the work a late composition.
What is the relevance of that? It was likely rejected hundreds of years later, at the Councils of Nicea, and either an earlier or later date than other gospels really has no bearing on its relevance to early Christianity. It demonstrates that "Church fathers" of the establishment rejected and suppressed certain gospel stories, and if you don't believe they had Divine guidance, the whole house of cards starts to collapse. The "earlier or later debate" is small potatoes compared to the revelation of the very existence of the Gospel of Thomas.
There are two different gospels of Thomas. The one Terence is talking about is the one that contains childhood stories of Jesus, not the "sayings" gospel of Thomas.
"There is enough evidence to support Jesus was someone's follower" in my opinion if he was following anyone it was Buddhist monks because Jesus only came on the scene 500 years after the Buddha's enlightenment and the teachings are parallel I truly believe Jesus was the reincarnation and second coming of the Buddha.
Paramahansa Yogananda speculated on Jesus prior lifetime, and he said that John the Baptist was the prophet Elijah, and that Jesus was his disciple Elisha. Whether there is truth in that or not nobody can know, but Yogananda was a highly evolved being with great intuition and spiritual gifts, so perhaps he was correct.
Terrence is smart but he underestimates Christianity. Jesus was fully man and fully God, but that doesn't mean he knew everything from infancy. Jesus is the Son of Man because he incarnates logic, not because he was born knowing every objective fact from birth like a trivia God. As an infant he would've been like any other but his path of transformation was perfect, so he matured in the most honest possible way. A perfect man still has to learn from experience. Morality is something that develops, just as it does in the Old Testament. Jesus having teachers doesn't conflict with him being God it actually makes a lot more sense because even if you were born with perfectly unbiased deductive and inductive reasoning it doesn't mean you would notice every possible thing at once or have the fastest cognition. You can be a creative genius and have 80 IQ, the point of Christ is that it doesn't matter how smart he is, its that his wisdom is complete.
Exactly, hence the mystery of Mary losing him at the temple: That the juvenile Christ was teaching the doctors of the temple at a young age, and they were astonished at his learned wisdom, yet when Mary asked him why he would allow her to go on without him, he replies, “Don’t you know that I am about my Fathers business?” Even still, he submits himself to his Mother and goes on from the temple with her. Son of God? Yes, fully. Son of Mary? Yes, fully.
Jesus was Jewish, and any references he made to following faith, law, or the sabbath were in reference to the Jewish faith, Jewish Law, and the Jewish Sabbath. Edit: that having been said, the Buddha was living and teaching at the time of Jesus' birth, and it is quit possible that Jesus had contact with some of those ideas.

When I saw the Grail this morning (5:30 A.M.) I did not see it per se; I did not, either, see it created out of nothing. I saw an ordinary physical normal every-day cup already in world affected by God; the cup in a sort of mist of color-the space around the cup as mist-like colors; and this cup became the Grail; it changed; it was made into (?) the Grail, and it did not just seem to me to be the Grail; it was the Grail; it was what I would say converted into spirit, a spiritual thing: “Grailified,” so to speak. Light did not emanate from it; it was transfigured by a sort of material light that showed-displayed or was-colors. He must have a physical cup or cup-like object in, I guess, our Lower Realm, to shape and mold and change and transform and “Grailify.” The spiritual, then, is not opposed to or separate from the physical; it is as if the physical and mundane exists to be thus spiritualized. The physical, material world, then, is not truly disjunctive to the other realm but points to it as a sign and under certain circumstances-a state of Grace-can be so read: as to what it refers to, is or bears (carries) information about. I found myself thinking, “This is the Medieval World View,” and then I realized, “No! This is what it aimed at.”

If Jesus is the Son of God, and is also human, that means we are all the Son of God, because we are created in his image.... Never before anything made so much sense, never before I cried while reading a book. Everybody in my family is an atheist and none of my friends is a christian.
Nothing pushed me into Christiannity from the life I lived. Science was the only explanation to me before that.
After I felt feelings I had never known before while going through christian ancient texts, I understood it came from my heart. No other litterature ever did that to me.
The only logical response was to believe in Christ and search for signs that he was real, but the only signs we can get are life experiences from people who turned christian overnight or dedicated Christians who found themselves in the Presence of the Lord. But from there, one has to trust their word, and that's one of the gatekeepers which prevents people from considering for a minute that Christ is our Lord.
Thre is one quick thing you can do to see who wins the battle.

Then compare how many results you'll find that match your research and keywords. How many people talk about their experience, and how many times the religion you picked is mentioned.
Finally, Type in

You'll find a significant amount of testimonies, way more than for any other religions. To me, it can't be a coincidence. People are being saved from false beliefs and come back to the Father after figuring out their were on the wrong path.

Gospel of Thomans 1:114 "1:114
Simon Peter said to him, "Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life."
Jesus said, "I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven."
Mckenna is preaching the gospel of today's society.

I honestly believe that Terence McKenna is a reincarnation of Thomas the doubter
First of all I just love the guy to death & I know this may sound like a crazy strange thought, but please bear with me
Terence McKenna
Thomas The doubter, weirdly similar
Plus he explains how he truly felt being this way was his destiny
I know it sounds quite nutty & out there, but think about it
He knows it’s him & has no clue what to think about any of this, but you can tell the story being him to tears, because he know it in his heart
All I can think of is that reality is pure consciousness; that only Anokhi exists, purely
and solely. That what we have is ascending degrees of perception, and the ultimate is perception of
pure consciousness “out there”!
I can express the essence of it: reality refers to something above, beyond and outside itself; it is
(literally is) an idea about something else; it is not so much information but an idea or concept of
something beyond it (itself). Hence I discerned info “recorded” or “encoded” into/on it. What I have
been missing is: this causes reality-not just to be a vehicle for info-but, as a vehicle, to be caused to
refer to something outside itself. Thus it signifies (as what is seen) what is not seen, and this (my notseen) is my surd. And I know what that (surd) is: it is God impinging on reality (but distinct from it,
Spinoza to the contrary). Hence this is why I saw “pretextual cause” and “camouflage”; this (new)
concept subsumes both these earlier perceptions/conceptions
You think they haven't eaten me, I'm very aware of it.
Ah yes, the blonde hair blue eyed jesus we all know and love
Exactly, hence the mystery of Mary losing him at the temple: That the juvenile Christ was teaching the doctors of the temple at a young age, and they were astonished at his learned wisdom, yet when Mary asked him why he would allow her to go on without him, he replies, “Don’t you know that I am about my Fathers business?”
Even still, he submits himself to his Mother and goes on from the temple with her. Son of God? Yes, fully. Son of Mary? Yes, fully.
Oh my....
Actually it didn’t even take years at all for the church fathers to understand the beautiful and miraculous sacrament.
They all got it from the mushroom.

When I saw the Grail this morning (5:30 A.M.) I did not see it per se; I did not, either,
see it created out of nothing. I saw an ordinary physical normal every-day cup already in world
affected by God; the cup in a sort of mist of color-the space around the cup as mist-like colors; and
this cup became the Grail; it changed; it was made into (?) the Grail, and it did not just seem to me to
be the Grail; it was the Grail; it was what I would say converted into spirit, a spiritual thing:
“Grailified,” so to speak. Light did not emanate from it; it was transfigured by a sort of material light
that showed-displayed or was-colors. He must have a physical cup or cup-like object in, I guess,
our Lower Realm, to shape and mold and change and transform and “Grailify.” The spiritual, then, is
not opposed to or separate from the physical; it is as if the physical and mundane exists to be thus
spiritualized.
The physical, material world, then, is not truly disjunctive to the other realm but points to it as a
sign and under certain circumstances-a state of Grace-can be so read: as to what it refers to, is or
bears (carries) information about.
I found myself thinking, “This is the Medieval World View,” and then I realized, “No! This is
what it aimed at.”

We are ALL Jesus Christ... Jesus was the Son of God, and humans are created in God's image... If Jesus is the Son of God, and is also human, that means we are all the Son of God, because we are created in his image.... When Jesus says, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, the only way to Heaven is through me." What he is really saying is that the Kingdom of Heaven is inside all of us. Its up to us, as individuals, to find our own forgiveness within ourselves. We instinctively know the difference between right and wrong. We know whether we are good people or not...... Modern Christians take the Bible at face value. It goes much much deeper than that. Every verse of the Bible has a deeper metaphor. Every line has multiple hidden meanings.
