I would suggest a slight variance of dgrees between the shaft and the diff.
If you don't drop the differential's angle slightly (toward horizontal) by, say around 1.5 to 2 degrees less than the shaft's angle, the 4 u-joint cap bearings will not engage properly, in any significant rotation/lubrication, save off-road/uneven pavement driving.
Unless off-roading is primary, I would speculate that the U-joint cap-bearings will sooner degrade, oxidizing from condensated humidity and potentially seize up (kinda like atrophy from lack of exercise).
If you've ever experienced the kind of immediate and otherwise uninvited heart palpitations, that so often occur the rear drive-shaft suddenly breaks away from those weak, little u-joint straps, or the subsequent knuckle-busting, driveline repairs that will more than likely follow, you also know that, to setup a 2nd timeline of unknowable length, destined to climax with the catastrophic, "planned obsolescence", i.e., failure/disconnect of the rear-diff U-joint, may well result in self-induced, prefrontal brain-hemorrhaging; right from the very first blow, as you wail uncontrollably, smacking yourself silly on the forehead.

I know this video is old, but you do want to have your axle not centered but alittle forward. Your axle travels the direction your shocks are. So the front is straight up and down and the back travels at a backward angle.

+Dominick Chavez It didn't change things much when driving slow off road but it did make a big difference in city driving. It improved steering and corrected some strange side effects from the lift kit.

No drilling of control arm mounts? I'm about to install currie control arms and the instructions say drilling required. Are these currie arms?

These are Metalcloak arms. No drilling needed.

Alexander Perez I would recommend not drilling an just getting ones that don't need to be drilled there's many options only reason I say that is in case you need to adjust the pinion or your caster it won't ever be the same as the opposite side (driver to passenger side) hopefully I didn't get to you to late lol a year later

now what is you lift size and what length are the upper rear and front arms ?

2" Old Man Emu Springs and shocks.
      2" spacer up front.
Homemade spring bucket in the back.
      About 4" lift overall.
      Plus 1" body lift.
I'll have to measure arms at some point.
