protected buffs can be extended but not the protected shield from bolster sets. we've been extending brogni's protected shield since the day he was added.

@@fidelsyrianoudis you aren't talking about the same thing. those are buffs that cannot be extended EVER. whether they are protected or not doesn't matter. they can NEVER be extended under no circumstance.

that is sooo wrong, maybe she is more useful for you based on your account. But generally speaking this will be one of the best fusions that you don't wanna miss and definitely wayyy better than the last fusion. However, we'll have to wait and see how big his shield growth is gonna be.

The fusion and the fusion warmup events were omitted from the Plarium Play Raid calendar. Shady. Helping us plan for everything but the really really important stuff like fusions. Anyway, keep up the good work HH!
Assuming my math is correct wixwell will have a bit under 1600 defense 21k hp and 97-102 speed. This was done by taking Altans 5 star stats and calculating the percentage different between him and wixwell and applying that to wixwells stats. I will call this a succsess if i am within 100 def and 1000 hp
I could be wrong, but I don't see him as a top tier fusion. Way behind Artak, Helicath, Pythion, Gnut, etc. Probably be about a 4 on the HH site scale.

I really really feel that the hype of having a choice on this champs skills is making people overrate him: "Raid did something fun and new and we even got to select the champion's skills so he has to be amazing"... This is truly not the case from what I see. I encourage everyone to actually consider where he will be an excellent champ over other options that already exist. For an early game account that can manage to get him he will be a carry champion but on a scale that consist of bad->mid->good->Excellent he is going to end up somewhere between mid and good. A 4* champion on hh website. Maybe because of the hype a 4.5 but someone who has no defined place in the game other than hydra.
TBF I hope I am wrong because I get every fusion on my main but this is my honest perspective.
Tbh I don't know where I would use him. His kit is a little bit of this, a little bit of that and in the end nothing crazy...
But that's where help is needed the most lately. Clans are obsessing over hydra Clash rewards. Every week like 4 people in my clan say "there's still time to use your keys", or something like that. Now they made a 2 key requirement for the clan. I do agree with your sentiment but the importance of hydra is pretty high nowadays. Even if he's not game breaking I'd still go for it

He's not a good champ. We missed the mark on a couple votes and now he will live true to his name.
A bit bummed he's force affinity since I already have a few force provoke champs for hydra (Var-gall, Husk, etc) but I'm sure I'll find plenty of uses for him. Definitely could be interesting for CB if you can set up your team so the boss targets your team lead (assuming his AI will always target lead for his intercept skill).
Have 16 books saved up, need 6 for my Armanz but will definitely save those others for him!! 👌🏻
Hey hellhades, congrats on the cc of the year.
His a3 intercept (for CB specifically) just allows low end accounts to run CB without fear of stuns. Any midgame or later account should be running block debuffs, cleansing, or immunity to stuns. He'd be useful as a new account legendary for this reason (we all know new accounts can run a fusion or two before resources start becoming an issue). So, if you're new, this guy will be a HUGE asset. Otherwise, he is nifty with the shield and extensions (if you don't have Brogni). I don't have Brogni so I'm hoping I can use this guy in his place for areas where Brogni might shine. Seems like he has potential to be godly with the a3 (could be better than Brogni) depending on the multipliers from each buff. Most of us should be able to throw 4-5 (or more) buffs up per member per round so this could be crazy good or completely lackluster.
Are getting a showcase in advanced server (or whatever it is called)of this champion?
Brogni's I believe is protected and it gets extended. I think the bigger question is - if you run him in protect gear, will that potentially give him a protected one that can't be removed? I don't have a ton of protect gear so haven't really had the chance to see if that works that way. If it does - I'll go out of my way to get that 25-50% chance it's protected so the damn mischief head can't steal it no matter what.

i only had a few other def champions to test this on but they all had their lvl 1 stats scale up by roughly 2.5x, so using that Wixwell should have around 1487 base defence and 19462 base hp.

If you use protection gear they most certainly can be extended. I do it constantly in hydra with mithrala and krisk

Was kinda hoping for more.. I can't see myself doing this fusion.. I don't have the gear to gear him as he needs to be geared and I really don't have a use for him.. my focus is arena and the cursed city at the moment.. so.. yeah shame his kit is just a little lack luster..

Is my understanding incorrect, but intercept is just a block debuffs that is worse if the enemy is faster than you, but better if they’re slower?
Often the speed also increases at 6 star, so the base stats they showed are truly meaningless

I feel like an irontwins comp he will do a lot in replace of brogni. Him, Geo and 3pks or even something more Buff heavy like Heli or Demy

Even the 97 speed does not really help since a lot of the Champs gain some additional speed when you 6-star them.

I think plarium is trolling the player base, the intercept buff is a bait. We should’ve choose the other 2 type but I know most players are early to midgame. Imo Mixwell going to “mix” everyone’s feelings very “well”.

This guy is Brogni 2.0 and is coming into the game as a top 10 champion in my eyes.
First off, for newer players he will be the answer to getting a 1-key UNM team for clan boss.
Next, he will be great for all player stilling trying to conquer the hydra in addition to just being a good carry in most dungeons.
Finally, for arena he will be a great option for going against polymorph heavy teams. I reckon he will feature in alot of offense teams since he actively counters a major part of 2024s arena meta.
Fourthly he will get nerfed after they discover how overpowered he is ahhahahah
I'm a new player and most damage I've ever done on cb is 40 million thats on hard because I picked up gnut during that summon pool thing they had and I just pulled sulfuryion I heard he's good but idk I'm still learning the game I honestly don't know gear I have good Champs I think but like I said and most damage on hydra is 2 million
How is this guy top ten? Maybe for super early game but midgame and higher I could easily name 20+ champs that are WAY better than him
He is a good champ but nowhere near top 10. He is a 4 star maybe 4.5 on a good day on HH website. We may have gotten to choose the skills but he is seriously not going to be as impactful as other champs anywhere. Hydra you want an aoe provoke (for the sake of auto runs). CB he may not apply intersect on the champ that will be stunned and he will not fit well into an unkillable team so most people will not even attempt to use him there. Finally for arena he will not be used in the level of arena where polymorph is a problem and even if he is, placing intersect on one champion is not going to prevent the issues of polymorph neither will it counter the meta. I think he is a good champ and will be a carry champ on an early account but he is seriously being overrated. His best use case is going to be for people who like to manual Hydra. He is basically just there to mitigate dmg with minor control. I am not hating on you being hyped by him at all I just think that everyone is overhyping this champion to the max.
No way he's that good lol. He's not good. What does he do in cb that can't already be done? Remember he takes a spot of someone currently being used and besides the stun mitigation what's he do? Dealing with all that stuff from cb nowadays is easy. This guy is also not good in arena. Who's gonna pick him over the meta champs nowadays? There's to many must pick champs there's no way people will choose this guy. He's only good for newer players but for later game players he will see very little uses. We missed the mark voting on this one and we will see how it plays out in the game when we all have him.

He will not be “one of the most sought after champs!!!”
His intercept skill is new to the game…but not even that good! It Can be completely stripped or stolen, if it was “protected” it would be better…but he will be played for about a week after people get him in Arena…then put in the vault.
Only new players will use him in Hydra and Clan Boss after the first week. =/
Why is there never a strong connection between CC’s opinions on a fusion compared to the overall community’s? I’m starting to notice a pattern where majority of CC’s (except for boozor so far) will 🍆 ride a fusion and their comment section has the exact opposite thoughts -that being skip.

i think its a big miss on our part that he didnt get the new extra big poison skill... poison works on most bosses and with the reworked blessing would have been an absolute killer for arena as well...

Interesting champ, but the name is very uncomfortable for german players.
I'm just hoping he's pullable from shards. Brogni can only be pulled from void shards. We need one you can get through Ancient and Sacred shards that has that buff regenerate.

look at HH last video about prepping for the wixwell fusion. I'm a f2p player myself and I can do this fusion if I wanted to and even Hellhades himself said in his last video that anyone who says "fusions are impossible as a f2p" is just straight up wrong.
It takes f2p a bit to start hitting fusions, and honestly they haven't released one that's been truly game breaking since gnut. So most early and mid game really aren't missing anything because the content that they should be focusing on doesn't really require them.

Only in arena, which is an extremely small area in this game. I've been playing since 2020 and I built just for Doom tower hard which is not early or mid game friendly.

it blocks debuffs that go through normal block debuffs. so it's still unique.
but in general I won’t follow him...if he had a mass Intercept or shields that worked well, I would think about it. and so....Intercept for 1 target, the shields don’t inflate too much...he even has a counterattack that can be stolen...we voted for a counterattack that cannot be stolen!

I don’t like this the intercept only helps 1 champion out and given how fast Armanz cycles through turns it won’t be that effective especially because he will just target your other 3 champions

Over hype once again. At the current stage on the game, any fusion aim towards hydra is useless unless their skill set mirror that of trunda or better. Majority have cb unkillable team already so he irrelevant there. Stop getting played by plarium people, vote ur skill is as stupid as u spending money on raid!
