Ash is easily the most enjoyable Raid CC to watch for me. He's not gonna have the cutting edge teams or super in depth analysis, but his presentation and communication skills are top notch. No slight to YST, HH, Boozor, etc. as they are all helpful in their own ways. Shout out to Ash's editor as well!
I voted for you Ash, big fan of all the CCs but the sheer volume of the content as well as the quality is unmatched. Your champion guides alone are such a massive help to new and progressing players
9 piece slayer will be the best for him, great turn meter, ignore def and double damage on max hp aoe
I agree, though I dont think its double damage from the 9 piece as a side note, the bonus dmg cant crit so its more like getting a bonus 100% crit damage when it procs as it adds the base damage one more time. Still great since it scales HP but thought worth mentioning!

I would love to see someone in a full 9 pcs, I haven’t been able to get the accessories needed for a solid build on anyone in a 9pcs.

yeah Slayer is 100% the way to go, with his own turn meter gain and slayer he gets 50% every round on a normal enemy wave

Man I love your page so much learning been playing since it launched
pulled him last week, maxed him, and used this week on Hydra and what i like the most is he fills 3 roles in 1 unit. drop attack, DPS, and block buff which lets me open up the team a little more in options. He's great and worth the build if pulled for a possible permanent staple hydra team unit, imo.

I feel like Ukko could be replaced in that team fairly easily, since Orthorion brings the same debuffs. Shamael could be fun to boost orthorion and give him even more turns
I would think slayer set would be ideal for wallmaster. Seems like he's tailor made for slayer. Atleast that's the rout I would go if i ever pull him. but probably more than one good way to build him. Also today I was able to finally break the damage threshold in Hydra after a long time of wasting my keys and getting nothing. It was only on normal difficulty and it took all 3 keys. But i almost did it with just 2 keys. I shocked myself and it feels good to actually get a reward. credit the achievement to taking alot of the advice you give about building champs so I just wanted to express my gratitude for helping players like me to get better progression. My hats off to you Ash. Keep up your good work👊

I agree on the reflex gear build, what a lot of end game builds are utilizing lately are a 4 piece reflex and a 4 piece merciless set. Basically double up on the skill cooldown. Also if you bring those buffs on the team you could just turn off his self buff skill.
Hey. I was so lucky to pull R. Nergigante as well as Othorion. Aside from Ukko, which kind of other champs would you include in this team (dont have the lovey dovey duo or Tuhanarak). Maybe Lydia for decr def and weaken, a reviver like my Duchess and another dmg dealer?
It is a good pool CCs for the award, since there’s some obvious overlap, but also widely different styles.

Slayer would be even better for him imo. At least six pieces of Slayer set and since you can use Slayer for Accessoires as well you might go 3 pieces Slayer Accessoires, 3 pieces Slayer Artifacts and 2 pieces Perception for better Accuracy or 2 pieces Cruel for even more Ignore DEF and ATK or even 3 pieces of Merciless Artifacts for additional ATK, C.DMG and SPD. But 6 pieces Slayer would be absolutely mandatory on him

Hi Ash, hope you are well! Could you try WallMaster Othorion in a 4-piece Slayer and 4-piece Impulse set, please??? I currently have him in a 4-piece Slayer and 2-piece Impulse at gear level 12. He is level 50, not booked, and has no maasteries and he can handle Spider at level 14 with a good strong team. Imagine him fully maxed out and tuned just right so he can keep hitting the Spider and her spiderlings without giving them a turn? What do you think???

I am thinking of returning to raid after a long break. The cursed city is completely new to me and my artifact and champion storage is completely clogged up. I used to watch your vids religiously, any advice on where I should focus my attention when I return?
maybe RSL helper could be a good 1st step, if your gear is full. Do a gear cleanse, and spend the silver on upgrading the gear that is leftover, and put it on your best champs.
I have stepped up my scrutiny on the gear that I keep using RSL helper and a sell filter that I downloaded. I sold a lot that I would normally had kept, but I'm finding that getting good stats is much easier than it used to be, and my account is progressing much quicker after trimming the fat.

He certainly has pulled some shards with garbage results before. I pulled a Gnut on my 3rd ancient shard on the last 2x event. Ash pulled nothing. Everyone gets their day, just gotta wait for it to come!

What’s the best starter champion as a free to play player? I’m just about to start playing raid shadow legends for the first time and watched your beginners guide but didn’t see which starter champion to choose. Love the content though
Best is Kael. If you plan on spending I'd just recommend buying an account. At Genshinaccount they have a raid shadow legends section where you can choose what epics, leggos, mythical you want. Prices aren't that bad either. I've gotten multiple accounts from there cause I ain't looking to spend 100s gambling when I can get an account with wallmaster, man-eater and black knight for $25.

Ash if you have 9 pieces of Slayer PLEASE try it. I promise you - there's some kind of bug with the calculation on the "30% chance to duplicate damage" where when you hit a decapped Hydra head with hex (and preferably dec defense and weaken) the bonus damage isn't capped by the enemy max hp restriction. I've been trying to get SOMEBODY to do a video on this. My Graazur has single turns where he gets 6, 10, 16, 20 MILLION damage in one hit when the 30% chance procs once or more than once. Everybody is ignoring me though. I have video clips of this. My graazur hits for 240m on nightmare hydra.
