@Hellhades - I’m sorry but knowing Plarium, Plarium does what’s best for Plarium. Expect +8 on Epics to gain half of the stats boost Legendaries get. You’ll need to accumulate it over time with more shards.
exactly! either you will need 4 copies for +1 or as you say, there will be +x with much lesser stats like 1% HP per +1. There is no way Paylarium introduces this without a catch! Id be willing to bet on it!

For Seer you would just need to fiddle with gear. Having extra stats would be amazing.
I bet there will be some new currency or item required to empower epics. There's no way in hell Plarium just let us empower epics and not try to milk us for more money.
feeding epics already lowers your food supply because of more energy needed to get rank 5 food from lower rarities... so expect champion training to be more demanding. That's just 1 of the things that come to mind.I'm sure there's more

My thought was that epic empowerment will sell a lot more prism shards. I imagine that's the reason for plarium to actually do this.

one thing for clan boss is i struggled for a while turning my 2 key UNM clan boss team in to a 1 key so that i could do a quick battle. The ability to do 1 quick battle for clan boss over watching the full fight twice is huge for quality of life and this may allow some people to do it by +4 their seekers or deacons etc. they will be more likely to have that option as you can be playing for years before you can one key
Are you running the myth heiress comp? A full nuke seeker, and I used the force epic shadowkin Suiken she brings the weaken that upped the damage and affinity friendly. I was able to build her in affinitybreaker. Comfortable one key

@@thomaschezzy3308 Pulling 4 seekers or Deacons etc before you have a suitable comp to be able to 1 key anyway is a stretch. Like RNG is RNG so you could; but chances are you'd already have everything you need possibly just short of getting around to building/tunning it properly long before you had a +4 of either.

Glad I’m not at the stage yet where I’ve been using my dupe epics as food, got 3,4 and 5 copies of some.
Remember kids, some champions are worth more as dupes. Especially hydra champions. Inquisitor, geo, uugo...

I'd like to submit Relickeeper in there are well. He is a BEAST at low and mid level, and you can fuse as many as you can want from rares. That extra turn each time he kills someone, plus his self-buff, plus the empowered bonuses would make him a monster!

There is about 275ish Epics in the game atm; thats a hell of a lot of space to + 4 all of them.
Madame Serris, Dirandil, Dark Elhain, Basher and Psylar immediately spring to mind as some arena champs you left out.
I wish I knew this was coming. I used so many good epic champion doubles, triples, etc as food for a champion leveling event to get Rhio’s 5 star awakening. 🤦🏻♂️

Also there are epics you cant pull, we dont know who empowers these, specifically Dark Kael/Helmut/Djamarsa

more speed, more acc - he sure will be easier to gear for high level content.
Epic empowerment is a good thing as something is always better than nothing but it is going to be fairly niche, you have to be unlucky enough not to have pulled good legendary champions but at the same time lucky enough to have spare copies of good epics. There will be some people lucky enough to take advantage and will be totally subject to rng. Most people with enough dupes are likely to be at a stage where they have the gear to do it without dupes, except for pvp where there is no ceiling. It's a good thing overall but people need to be cautious and think twice before they empower stuff - have seen so many people with plus one legendary champions without maxed out faction guardians. From business standpoint, it makes more sense to pull more now so plarium will be counting on shard purchases going up
I was thinking I'd empower the epics used to Fuze rhazin after my guardian spots are full. I'm ftp so planning to keep using them for champion chase events in future.
I'll empower every epic i can unless it messes with my CB team, meaning, Demytha and Seeker won't see the empowerment for some time. Guardians are priority tho
At this point, 95% of all epics I pull are chickens, so if I have the epic at 6*, it's getting empowered. No reason not to, and you never know when you'll need it for some special room requirements.
Maybe Mistrider will benefit a lot. Maybe Locwain will find a use in the city, same with Pann. Even some mediocre ones like Ultimate Galek might be more usable with a boost to make builds stronger. Humbold, Deacon, Miscreated Monster, Fren'zi and Oathbound come to mind as maybe decent benefits.
I can actually say i empowered fayne for cb and I found that the extra stats helped her not only survive longer but able to land her debuffs more consistently. Definitely don't sleep on her especially in cb.

I think for early game accounts trying to push clan boss this will be a massive boosts. Which should help them do fusions, get shards and have overall stronger accounts. It's in a way a very good catch up mechanic. For late and end game accounts this is purely for Sintranos, the devs are aware how hard some of the rooms are and this appears to be their solution in my opinion. I think its a good thing overall.
My top 5 epics im looking forward too are:
Husk for Hydra, Shamael for Hydra, Oboro for Hydra, Seer for waves, Fenax for Live Arena double counter attack speed teams.
I'm 65 days in doing nm cb, no way I will empower anything for unm, any dupes will be guardians. I'm guessing I will for hydra in future, but as f2p I only have so many chances to get dupes. Only have 3 dupe epics so far and about 30 epics in total, 23 of which were pulled from shards.
Yeah, I think it might be a big help too. I can't build an unkillable team, just haven't had that kind of luck, but I can 2-3 key NM with my current build thanks to Deadwood Jedi. While I wouldn't jump to empowerment for most of my dupes yet, once I actually pull some dupes for champions I use a lot (Geomancer, Venomage, Doompriest) I'd go for it immediately cuz it would be a big boon to my CB damage.
And our clan is very small so we're gonna need a lot of damage to get to UNM. 😅
I don't spend money on shards but I do have 4 venomages and 4 uugos so they could be nice to make 2 plus 3's! ALSO I do use my torturehelm to solo sand devil 10 atm my gear isn't the best but if the empowerment thing is good I might fuse 4 more to make her a plus 4 and see how far I can get with that.
Right now I got a 6 star blessing on Whisper, and have to more in the Vault (yes I'm a follower of the Church of Whisper).
If I had to guess there going to get half the stat bonus for a plus 4 epic than a plus 4 leggo to keep from over shining leggo champs
Waiting to see the real cost to empower. Raid likes its unique currencies or even having to use multiple champion to empower each time. Like the upgrading rank system
Item needed to empower might be tournament award or milestone in an event. Doubtful it'll be free to empower with just a single champion. There's a catch
I think the real question is if there are an any Epics that are SO good to empower that it's worth it to sacrifice one of your Faction Guardian slots (atk or def probably) to empower them? Someone like Geo for example could be worth to empower at the cost of Faction Guardians if he's used that much more than your other Epic Dwarves.

Shamael I find works amazing in guardian gear, hard to build since his stats are lower, but I find because of his counter attacking he fills back up in hp quite quick. +4 Shamael I think will be amazing.
Haven't played in about 6 months, but do know I have a 6 star Fenax and 2 5 star Whispers. Could be fun :)
I'm gonna have a full team of +4 Relickeepers, and also +4 of all Rhazin epics (I didn't fuse him to always have champs chase points).
i thought of doing the same thing with the relikeeper XD. have 3 teams in 3v3 of just +4 relikeeper
Seeker and Maneater might not be nukers but they hit HARD. Empowering them will be the difference between 1 and 2 keys for many. I do have my 1 key team, but it's 2 keys when weak affinity, it's so close tho.
they should allow us to empower rares later too

Loving the epic empowerment coming to the game. Question: Do we think Plarium will make changes to other content impacted by this change? Example: Missions/Challenges (Arena leveling will become much harder for newer players), Arena Levels (increase the number of players at each level otherwise entry level will become teams of all fully empowered epics).
There's not a chance of them rebalancing missions or challenges
I keep a copy of every epic, glad I did with cursed city, all of them will get a boost when pulled.

I alluded to something similar In another video. Knowing Plarium like we do, I think it's a mistake to assume the epic empowerment will work exactly like legendary empowerment. I wouldn't be too surprised if there is a new economy introduced to enable epic empowerment or like you say... 2 X duplicate to get +1 empowerment. Hopefully we're wrong.
Geomancer stands out for me to make him tankier, faster and with better accuracy for higher Iron Twins and frost spider. Faceless would be a good choice because his A3 ignores defense, so making him more survivable and with higher speed and attack would be awesome for sintranos, the arena and faction wars. Mine currently is 6 star in 6 piece merciless and he can one shot UDKs that dont have stone skin on or if they have just a little bit left.
I think empowering epics is more for the new or casual player especially ftp but yeah ofc some of the op epics will make their way into some end game teams possibly

Nobody especially above Whale level will ever need Epic empowerment. I mean we are talking about accounts that pull 300+ Mythical Shards regularly and are now working on getting Mythical champs to +4.
For those accounts, Epics are long since what uncommons are for F2P.....food!

I mean - I think you missed a few overlooking that some people may use more epics then Legendary champs in dungeons just cause of what they have or the team setup they use. I mean - you want Miscreated Monster to be fast and usually have high ACC and HP, possibly RES depending on if your doing 20 or one of the others, and of course rate and DMG cause his shield is based on damage, so +4 MM will make his build way easier, or just way more effective. Some how on my alt without trying to build him with perfect stats I got a Geomancer with over 3K ATK, almost 3K DEF, 67% C.Rate (and he's often paired with Fatman anyway) 168% C.DMG (with a 6* glove and Amulet only at +12) - while having life steal gear that in cases where the team has gone down, he's carried - only downside is he's in a CB team that's speed tuned so his speed has to be at a certain level till I build another. I know *ALOT* of people hate on Canoness - and yeah, sure, it would be nicer if her A3 was full team ally protect or her A1 wasn't random chance of increase ATK on random ally, but she is way over looked for what she can do: I only have what gear was good enough I could spare to currently have her at 145% C.DMG (175% with Fatman buffs) and 3k DEF, and people often overlook she is *always* under an increase DEF buff if she's booked (and tossing out 15% 2 turn continuous heal on everyone) - and she's hitting Ice Golem 20 for 35k with just decrease DEF on with her A1 on crits - to say nothing of 65k+ on her A2 that is not only always critical (so you could in theory build her with 0 C.Rate and purely DMG, DEF, SPD, and ACC) but has a 100% chance to place Leech and Decrease ACC - with a 5.7 multiplier compared to say a Rhazin's 6 - who's a Legendary. Even against wrong affinity - long as you bring enough ACC you can decrease the ACC of a boss and place leech both of which can be a lifesaver on an A2 that can smack hard, and is always buffed by her A3 that keeps the team healed some and can protect the teams lead.
Especially for players who may not have many legendary champs, or what they have is still not truly effective because they don't have books to get the most out of them since those books are harder to get - being to +4 a lot of the epics is going to be huge because a lot of them can do some serious work in a lot of content.
Rare champions needs to have empowerment as well. I really want to take Coldheart +4.

Not only is the chance higher for better blessings, but it's also way easier to get epic books. Epics are going to be really competitive, especially for ftp players.

The only down side about this I can say is the arena is going to be even harder. Especially new players and such.
They could start with their Epic champions from their monthly Callender Like High Khatun, YAGA, dark Athel and Elhain, Lordly, Tainix and Grush

I think you missed some... All epics will be worth a +4. Before Santranos, epics that have suddenly become meta were trash. Tolf the meme has suddenly new life as a solo artist for Shogun's Grove. Who kept Rockbreaker? now you need 2 copies. The moment legendry empowerment was announced, I decided to keep every epic I pulled since then as it was obvious this day would come. I have 546 epic dupes waiting for the day, which I also used to do champ training events so I got my use out of them there too, and soon, I'll have nothing but space in my vaults and backpack for real food champs lol.
My advice, empower 1 copy of every epic and keep it. Do 2 or 3 of those epics that are most useful like Royal Guard, and Inquisitor Shamel etc. before feeding any more. I would not necessarily use further copies as books for now, unless you really want to, but just have a +4 empowered copy of every epic for the next Cursed City like content, or expect to spend a whole lot more later down the line again
Empowering any epic will make it that much easier on your gear requirements regardless. Geo for instance will gain very little from empowerment at first glance. However, you soon realise he needs bonkers high acc for IT and that sucks the very best gear away from others. I know that IT will be nerfed soon, but we still don't know what that will look like, and what new epics could then suddenly be valuable in his stead. Think long term, as most of us are not Whales that can throw what little resource we have down the pan, so best use of any resource must always be considered.
Imo, the best case use for spare epics in order is.
1. Guardian Ring (after using dupes of usable epics)
2. Empowerment.
3. As books (those you use ofc).
4. Food, but only after lower ranked food is exhausted.
A few months ago I had 4 genbos and didn't know what to do with them all so a few of them became food😢😢
Having a +4 epic would be nice but I wouldn't be surprised to only +2 an epic, who knows maybe they will allow rares later on since they want us to use them more often now.

I think Fylja is going to be a very good champ of a +4 especially if you have her in a dark fae team

until now I thought that the heroes who cast worse debuffs and crits were related to how old the hero is, but now I found out that the heroes who they think we got them for free also fall into that group, just look at the drop rate for hp burn on artak and venus and you will find that venus with 300 acc has a higher drop rate than artak 400+

What are you trying to say here? btw Dreng was also easy to get back in the day; was a fusion. Venus is a VOID legendary, the void legendaries are a step up from the other leggos. Even most of the soso void leggo's are comparible to a upper 20% non void leggo.
Artak is a MAGIC champion which means he will weak hit force affinity enemies 35% of the time, therefore not doing any debuffs regardless of accuracy 35% before the accuracy level is even counted. Venus can't weak hit because she is Void, Dreng will weak hit vs Magic enemies.
You'll whole 400+ vs 300 acc thing besides weakhits is just a load of rubbish.

Personally, I believe they should have done the epic empowerment first, that way newer accounts could've been part of the power increase, instead of enabling the long term accounts the ability to empower their Lego's. Because who had multiple copies of Lego's in early to mid game accounts? I've been playing since ninja was released and only have two Lego dupes.
I saw that husk&royal are kinda out of meta at hydra at the moment, I tried swapping them out for like a Taras, Alaz, or Rathalos blademaster, they are also some hard hitting mofos. Turns out that since my husk and royal are both 6* ascended with Crushing rend, they are just way better than the mentioned champs for me. I can't hit 100m+ on nightmare without husk/royal at the moment. And I guess the empowerment will further justify their utility.
Anax for CB, Geo for everything, and Serirs for everything
Make a note for your game hh. I really wish they weren't so hard lined to say we're aren't doing this and now they are. Alot of epics have been fed because " we will never do that"
I'm gonna go farm campaign to gather some rares and empower my relikeeper to a +4 XD . im not that far into the game (lvl72) so a +4 relikeeper will hit quite hard. + my relikeeper has a 5* blessing phantom touch.
im sure after they will do all task dungeons stages harder...so will be gift ungift...
Here’s one that won’t be on the list. Jareg. He is definitely a doom tower boss specialist, but his kit is so streamlined that he would benefit hard from the stat boost
not bad for midgame players but for endgame pretty much useless if not for sintranos and squeeze more dmg on hydra and as you said i too won't upgrade seer she does enough dmg to kill all the waves and i want her to die asap at boss in fact i tried to make her as squishy as i can no ring and no hp and def in substat where i can
a +4 Demytha and a +4 Godseeker Aniri would be amazing tbh

Even "bad" epics with 6* souls would be good to empower. I levelled a Flesh-Tearer to 60 because I had a 6* soul for him. Other copies of him are worthless so empowerment is a no-brainer.

seer is definitely the only one I'm avoiding. if I +4 her then maybe I would rework her entire build but that's a lot of work to make her stronger only to purposely make her weaker.
