    About this video:
    Detailing brushes have got to be one of the most important areas of detailing... I like to say "The right brush will change your world." Unfortunately the opposite is also true, the wrong brush will destroy you haha! In this video, I show 3 different brushes that I use on almost a daily basis that make my detailing world SO MUCH EASIER. Don't listen to the forums, or the so called "experts" who are telling you to buy the $50 brushes. They are trying to separate you from your money, and the truth is... there are inexpensive brushes that will totally revolutionize your detailing ability. Follow along, and see if these brushes are right for you!

    Almost all of my detailing brushes (interior detail, carpet/upholstery scrubbing, wheel/tire) come from the general cleaning aisle at the grocery store or hardware store. Such as Rubbermaid, Libman, OXO or whatever. Very cheap and work great. Somehow manufacturers think that something as basic as a brush should cost $10-15 if it’s bought at a “detailer” site.

    I went to Walmart and spent 20+ on some detailing supplies. Meguires Hot-Rims and some vent brush that looks like a toothbrush; it was awesome to clean off some old brake dust by scrubbing the surface. The other stuff was like some trim restorer and microfiber applicators. I also use polishing pads from China and like the foam material from Germany.

    Drill brushes for tires and rims are great if you know what brush to use, I have seen lots of people just buy the $10 drill brush kit from autozone and run it against their wheels and then wonder why their wheels are scratched badly... well the brush in those kits is a hard brush where with wheels you need a soft drill brush, heck even with hand cleaning wheels you want a soft brush you can actually use boars hair brushes on wheels and they work great so just like with any job you have cheap basic tools sold at local stores and you have cheap specific tools that are meant for certain jobs and when you get into these jobs you start to understand the differences in the tools so yes you can use a dirt cheap tool for a job as long as you know what your looking for in that tool :) good video on the brushes 😀

    Another general detail brush tip is disposable foam paint brushes. Awesome for tight spaces on the interior and exterior. Hi Wilson , I wanted to ask you a few things about maxshine , there is been many bad reviews about the maxshine polishers which they just would either vibrate too much , work not properly , or defected and that most of the time as the reviews ( from verified purchases) says that maxshine haven’t reply back about the warranty at a point where they just had no choice than return it for a full refund . I have really heard good thing bout this polisher from you , Dallas , pan and I’m really want to get one but the different reviews just makes me think tewice before I do it

      @wilsonautodetailing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ya you know all I can say is that every company is going to have bad reviews, and many times people put bad reviews when they have an expectation that is not met. I try to explain the MaxShine polisher in an accurate way where I communicate what it is and what it is not. I have never had any technical issues with any of mine as in they malfunction, but inevitably I’m sure some people have. When you buy a $170 polisher that is what you are getting. It’s not a Rupes. But does that mean it’s not good... not in my opinion

    That brown colour on the tyre is exactly what you want? No mate it's whatever the customer wants. Me personally I don't like brown tyres, I sure they're ment to be black and round and I bet if your customers mentioned black instead of brown and you speil out " no that's what you want" you'll get lots of happy customers. 🤔

    • @IVLandDSADPC

      steven bewick he’s talking about the suds, if the suds become completely white you run a risk of stripping the UV protectant in the tire and can cause cracking and premature deterioration. While if it’s a light brown it leaves the tire black even before the use of a tire shine

This video could have been half as long and it would have gotten the point across more effectively.
