This was the video of yours I've most enjoyed as a fellow Atto 3 & drone owner. I appreciate you showing the chargers, charging speeds and wildlife. Possibly your day 1 economy was worse due to running the heaters?
Absolutely, great video, I have an Atto 3 and this video has told me I can do a long road trip, which has really helped a little as well.... very enjoyable to watch...just one question though, why you have the Atto 3 in "Sport" mode when driving, and was wondering if "Sport" mode uses more energy as I have mine in "Eco" mode..
Maybe you can tell us in your next video of the charging power conversion loss of AC vs DC. My Atto3 appears to use 20kwh to travel a distance of 88km when reading from the AC charger power consumption display. But the car says 15.5 kWh/100kms. I know I am on 22.7 kWh/100kms. Maybe DC charging hasn’t got the 22% power conversion loss?.
Atto-3 really need have a battery pack of 90 KW , as oppose to current, 60 KW for Australia that is too small. with alteat 150 KW if charging, current 88 KW charging is too slow.
@@dairyb0yWell it depends on your use case. For example - next week I have to travel to Melbourne from Sydney for work and I have to do it in a day. I have two EVs - both 60kWh. A Model 3 RWD and an Atto 3 . The difference in travel time is over an hour. A combination of the SC network, faster charging and a more efficient car. So even though I wouldn't mind taking the Atto 3, I'll take the Tesla. If the Atto 3 could charge on the V3/4 superchargers I might have taken it. I still want to try it but it would have to not be under time pressure.
I loved watching this trip and hopefully will do the same in my ATTO3 in the future.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it!
same ere

Thanks for the comments. Re: heater, possibly, as it's something I don't always use. All the best
Thanks mate great drive and video very enjoyable

Why? it wasn't a problem for this journey...

@@mondotv4216 That's a fair explanation, but sounds more like a nice to have, than a 'really need'.
