Hello guys, Thank you so much for your love on this video. I didn't expect that this video will get these many views and comments. You can check my work on Instagram ☺️ mentioned below instagram.com/capturedbysadiq/
I drove a Honda Civic from Melbourne to Perth in 1973. I left at 7am Saturday with a mate. We were both teenagers and I think there was about 1500 km of dirt road. I think it was the old highway as I remember going through Ivy Tanks and getting fuel. 47 degrees and no air-conditioning. We drove non stop and pulled into Perth 11 pm Sunday. Oh to be young again.
I'm from Fremantle. Currently living in Sydney. When I was a teenager l used to hitch hike from Perth to Melbourne. I was pretty fearless like most teens though. Maybe more than most, especially as a girl. Took 3 days. Most of the truck drivers used amphetamines to get the drive done. Different times back in the 90s. There's nothing like hitting the open road for a trip. I forgot how opened Perth looks. You can see the sky and the beaches are the best.. Definitely the best sunsets over the Indian ocean.
It is out a doubt one of the most beautiful Australian cites I have ever lived in and the beaches are something else they spoilt me for life. I live just up the road from Bondi which is nice but it is facing the wrong way.
Hi Lillian. Left Ireland in 1986 at 18. Hitched from Perth to Melb took 3 days. Got a truckie (Bob) out of Footscray TNT back to Perth took 36 hours. In the 80's truckie all used tabs to stay awake and drive. After one tab I was counting telegraph poles to Ballarat. JB
This is by far one of the best road-trips across Australia I've seen in my life. I mean come on there are a ton of other videos on YT but none carries forward the essence of what is truly a road-trip like this one. Good job!
I drove from Kalgoorlie to Sydney. Easy peasy. 3 nights accommodation in motels 4 days driving. Nullabar plains being the highlight. Loads of places to stop and eat, fuel up all the time. Take loads of water and food plus back up phone and a some sort of shelter/tarpaulin etc in case break down and stuck in the sun outside your car. Was a fantastic experience the light and vegetation out West was unbelievable.
This is a great drive across Australia from someone in the USA that will never get to see it. Thank you so much! BTW, older Corolla's are well made legends as I could not imagine making that trip in an older European or American made vehicle, HA-HA. I also wanted to say what an eerie driving experience that must have been during Covid not seeing many people out and about and the local gov't mandate lockdowns one had to comply with. Those beautiful trees in Western Australia (around 13 mins. or so of video) during the day and sunset made me want to visit WA so badly. Not sure what type of trees they were but that area was incredibly beautiful. Thank you so very much for sharing your experience!
20 years ago my wife had the same Corolla, same colour but a hatch back. Fantastically reliable and nothing ever went wrong. Now, she's owned a 2014 Corolla hatch back nearly seven years. Equally as reliable. We also have a 2017 Toyota Hiace campervan, fully kitted out. We'll do that trip from Wollongong to Perth one day in the campervan.
Well done on the trip and congrats on the editing. I did something very similar in March with my son, It’s unfortunate a lot of people don’t get to experience what a beautiful vast country we have, there is nothing better than laying back at night and just watching the star’s in the outback.👍
Nor did my wife but I’m happy to say we have just returned from a 6500km trip camping and she loved it and can’t wait to get on the road again. Be patient it’ll happen. Cheers
Yes, the stars in the Outback are sensational. Also had a terrific experience camping up near Glen Innes, (high up on the plateau), a clear night, no moon and stars were unreal. Australian skies are very unpolluted, like being out at sea.
Your a real humble person, helping someone on the side who ran out of fuel. I actually live just 10 mins away from Auburn. I'd love to do some driving through Australia. Many cool towns & nice landscape too. Good stuff, love the video!
I drove my 2003 Camry from Melbourne to Perth during Feb 5-8, 2022, alone. I think we share the same trip from Port Augusta to Perth. Such a great memory in my life.
Upon reaching from Sydney to Perth by road, I would definitely consider using a Chopper service for the return journey because I wouldn't be able to relive the long journey in the same way😂
Wow, just wow, you stopped at so many places I stopped at when I did a trip around Australia just before the pandemic! I drove from Sydney up east coast to cairns, cookstown, down to Townsville then inland to Geelong, melbourne, great ocean road to Adelaide, nullarbor, esperence, albany, perth, Carnarvon, broome,Katherine, mt isa , brisbane then back to Sydney 25000km in a month.... I drove a 2001 toyota seca (corolla) best, longest trip I have ever done, some of the most amazing sights are the ones you don't expect, like those cliffs you showed along the nullarbor , just across the road from the petrol station......loved reliving it through your video.....
How much money you spend for petrol ? I dont think it worth it , a plane ticket cost for interstate around $50 , driving car interstate cost $100-150 one way.
@@VanTran-ne4yf did it at end of 2019, petrol was alot cheaper then but still worked out at approx $10 per 100km so approx $2500 aust to do 25000km, way cheaper to fly, but I wanted to see everything rather than just visit the major cities, camped out , never stayed in motels and spent approx $100 a day for everything incl petrol.....
I did the trip in the 80s with my parents in an old Holden - I remember Streaky Bay and Broken Hill very well. Better roads now :) thanks for sharing …
Gidday Sadiq, I did the trip across on an old Triumph motorcycle in 1987 on my own after I finished 6 years in the RAAF. I met a lot of characters on that ride and would do it again. Thanks for sharing your journey. Travel safe. Denis.
Dear Sadiq, thank you for documenting your trip and sharing your video. I travelled solo from Melbourne to Perth in May/June 2021 (right before the Delta outbreak lockdowns reached VIC and NSW) and lived in Perth for the next 8 months before leaving driving from Perth to Sydney in February 2022 (in the middle of the Omicron wave lockdowns in Eastern Australia). At that time, the WA border was closed completely to the rest of Australia and I was the only car vehicle driving on that looong stretch of road from Norseman to Eucla. I wish I had documented my trip like you had. I must say, even though it was a solo road trip for me both ways, there was something adventurous and magical about the drive through SA and WA. The isolation, the nature, the sunrises/sunsets. And I'm sure you experienced this too, but driving from Eucla towards Norseman and even Calgoorlie I experienced the most interesting phenomenon: drivers waving to you from their vehicles. I never experienced this in Eastern Australia. THanks for oyur video. Cheers!
I dont know about eastern states but in WA as you head out of perth especially remotely, its two fingered wave from your steering wheel especially for truckers...Also buy a UHF-channel 40 and have a chat
Aussie Road trips are the best! Best trip of my life was driving a 1975 Kombi camper from SA to WA. Such a fun trip taking our time and stopping where we wanted to, finding cool places to check out and enjoy the wilderness. The roof blew off in a storm on the Great Australian Bight which was an experience! Did the rest of the trip with roof tied onto the car. It was winter and really cold on the Nullabor (desert) and the heater didn’t work. We used a hand held spotlight to get more light to drive at night. Sounds like it should have been a horrible trip but I loved it and would love to do it again sometime:) I grew up with Toyota Corollas. They older models were great cars! Thanks for the video :) ko km
14:19 Wish diesel is still that cheap, otherwise would've done this trip already. Thanks for the video mate, you have some serious balls of parking in some random car park and sleep over night haha
I did that in August 2004 in a 1989 Camry and came back 2 weeks later. It was so quiet and sparse out there. Beautiful trip, highly recommend it. Such peace and tranquility and somehow how the pace of life should be...then BANG back in the city again. But the 'batteries' got charged just the same.
Nice one, Sadiq! I've done the Melbourne-Perth run well over a dozen times, starting in 1978. My late wife's parents lived in Perth, so we did the trip regularly. Even towed the Formula Vee race-car over in 1993 for the Nationals at Wanneroo (Barbagallo); got stopped five times by curious young police officers, wanting to perv on the car! It's a great run and I recommend it to anyone; I've done the drive solo and two-up and it's always nice; last time was in 2011. If I'm headed west I tend to pull up at around 4.00pm, as the sun's angle makes it hard to see the sides of the road and 'roo's/emu/wombat will make a real mess of the car if you hit one. Same in the early morning, too; give the wildlife time to disappear. I've had a few near-misses (one near Port Agusta got very close, as did one on the Newell some years earlier) and unfortunately having T-boned a 'roo west of Caiguna, I know first-hand that they can do a lot of damage!
@JAI.H0 Plan the trip, hop online or visit the RAC for info and become a member. Get the car serviced and make sure that belts, hoses and tyres (including the correctly-inflated spare) are in good condition and that fluid levels are correct. Carry tools for tyre-change, plus extra water for you and the car. If you do break down, hazzard flashers on and stay with the car. East of Norseman, sleep in the motels (c.$165/night) attached to the gas stations, rather than in the car, that way you'll get a decent sleep and food. Allow an extra money over city prices for higher fuel costs in remote places - today (8/8/22) unleaded is $2.48 and diesel $2.88/Lt at Nullabor Roadhouse. (Check petrolspy.com.au for current pricing ) If avoidable, don't drive for an hour either side of sunrise/set; wildlife will make a mess of the car if you hit something. Don't rush the trip and rest if tired; it's not a race, so take time out to see the many things along the way and be adventurous. Much better to arrive a day or so later than planned, rather than to arrive dead. It's a great trip that not many do, so enjoy it; it's something that you'll remember forever.
I absolutely loved this. So much beautiful landscape and sunsets. I loved how you told us where you were and little tips on fuel and quarantine and sleeping etc. such calming music too. I’m from Perth and haven’t travelled in the outback so that was amazing 😌
Very well captured brother💯 Solo trips are a big adventure in themselves - it is something more than just a journey. 🤗Loved the video and the glimpses of scenic views. Thank you for sharing them.
Thank you Sadiq, for showing us your trip. I loved how beautifully you shot and edited the video. The captions tied it all together. I am looking forward to seeing your next trip.
Did the opposite in a Daihatsu Charade. First time in my life that I experienced a full sunrise (the Nullabor road is prety staight) listening to my favourite music on casette. Magical. Also scared the crap out of myself driving through a herd of cattle at 100 km per hour and at some point realising there were no fences on either side of the highway.
G'day to you, just found this dont know if you will see this, back in Feb. '71 Sydney to Perth in a Valiant Charger, April '72 Perth to Sydney in '58 VW Combi , May '77 Perth to Sydney and Back Brand New Honda Civic, in '71 there was no Road on the Nullarbor just a dirt track, good Fun! ps I remember we spent awhile at the Salt Lakes, this video brought back a few Great Memories of my youth I am now 74!
Great video made me nostalgic. I travelled from liverpool through mildura, ceduna to perth in 2011 with the first and favorite car commodore hearing queen all the way. One of the best drive of my life wish i could do it again.
Old Toyota's are the best! We once drove 60kms on an "empty" tank in our old Cressida. Rolled into the Auski road house (Karjini WA) and the car ran out at the pump!! We love taking long road trips and love your video! Its simple and beautiful; its straight to the point without a heap of needless, irritating chatter! Well done!
Although this is the southern route, in April-May of 1980, my brother and a mutual & old, close friend, drove 'over the top' of Australia, from Perth to Sydney. This video, nevertheless, brings back many, many fine memories of our particular trip, which took six weeks - and we sampled many a fine cold beer on the trip. The western desert is stunningly beautiful - elemental and without sound, perhaps only a light breeze... We're from Montreal, Canada - dinkum mate!
well done . Excellent footage of trip. well done. I did it both ways in the Late 70s, Then again in the late 80s. Fantastic to see it in your 2020 Nov Journey. Well done Sadiq. 👍👍👏
I did this same trip with my parents in 1987 from Merrylands NSW, I was born in Auburn, when we relocated to WA. I enjoyed the video as it brought back memories. Thanks
I done it in a 2002 corolla and lived six months out of it whilst venturing my way to Perth and settling down, best cars going, reliable, cheap on fuel, any top video mate🙌😎🙌
This brought back memories of my way home from my Lap of Oz after 2 and 1/ 2 years, I got back a few months before COVID hit. One thing I never did is drive at night, not with a 3 and 1/2 ton caravan and a new Ford Ranger Wildtrak, with roo bar and powerful spotlights. That was very brave of you Loved your vid, thanks for sharing. 😎
Cool video. I will be doing a very similar trip soon, from Newcastle to Perth for a new job. I think I will buy a second 20L jerry can, I hadn't considered petrol station being closed/out of fuel. Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed this video. I have done Wollongong to Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast and also Wollongong to Melbourne numerous times but I would definitely love to do Wollongong to Fremantle. I always say that it’s on my bucket list of things to do. Well done Sadiq, this must’ve been something that you will remember forever. Stay safe
Well done champion, I previously lived on the Central Coast NSW all my life and so my wife and I decided to move to Perth, best decision We ever made….if I had the time I’d love to do that sort of trip….Perth to Sydney and back…without Covid of course. 🤙🏼🏆
Thank you sadiq just shows you how reliable the old Toyotas are me I had a corolla cressida & Camry models over the years & they never let me down !! Thanks for the video!!!
Hi, I did my 4K kms from Tamworth to Mandurah on April 2021. It was really such a blessings to made this trip possible. I did the similar workout plans for my trip on 2017 model Mit colt. It took 5 days for me. I literally loved the place called CEDUNA, still i can imagine that phenomenal dusk. And I really missed that to see Cobbar mining/Gum tree/Salt lake. Thanks for this wonderful video mate.
Liked yr video _ well done with no wasted time. Drove Melb-Darwin & back mid-60s 3 of us in an F150. Hot to Coober Pedy, so night drive to Alice Springs. Thanks for your story. Saw Ayers Rock, climbed it but too hot to enjoy the Olgas. All corrugated and after the 1st flat it was 18 mph back to Alice Springs. Food and Motel with Swimming Pool!! Saw almost 0 wild life, no problems with road kill. Thanks for your story . John C.
Nice photography. Did this trip way back before Nullarbor was bitumened, quite an adventure. One thing impossible to photograph is the night sky in the outback, it’s an awesome experience.
I love driving long distances in Australia. The longer I live here the more beautiful and awe inspiring I find it. This makes me want to go road tripping again. I notice petrol in Southern Cross was $1.19. Now over $2. If it wasn't for all the imbroglio with the state borders back then it would have been a great time to long distance road trip.
Great video man! Thanks for uploading. I've done Perth - Melbourne a few times over the years- usually in small Japanese cars like yours, that are cheap to run and reliable. I always love it, especially when you get into the seriously remote parts of the trip, like certain parts from Ceduna through to Norseman, for example. I can't wait to do it again. Safe travels, cheers!
We did this from Brisbane to Perth in a 1978 Honda Accord in 1987. Fantastic trip. Did the whole Nullarbor in the day (2 drivers) with time to see a lot on the way. I'd love to do it again. Just a tip. Try to match your camera frame rate to your editing frame rate to eliminate the jerky footage. Great video.
Thanks Sadiq bro... for your nice video... suddenly the idea came to my mind to see a journey from Sydney to Perth.... and I found your video.... Much love from Assam, India ❤️❤️❤️
I told you didn’t I though- sunsets in WA are the most beautiful! Take a trip to Mandurah please! That was our first home in Australia, I can write and sign you will not have seen a place like that before, it’s a small town on the estuary, beautiful homes and water everywhere and head down to Halls Head beach to watch the sunset from there :) Also go to Fremantle, my favourite town near Perth. Absolutely Beautiful architecture full of character! Check the sunset out from the Port there
Firstly i want to Thank you for watching the whole video so thoroughly. And Yessss, You told me about the sunsets in Australia. The places you mentioned, they are in my list of travel. So i will visit them soon. Sunsets are pretty incredible here Saroosh 💗
Haha, you had some real guts to go in a small Corolla like that driving in the Nullarbor too, my Mum thinks her Camry can’t handle that much of a trip and only takes it for like a 500km trip that too not driving at night
Driving from Bunbury to Sydney (Holden station wagon, then VW beetle) we had to camp by the dirt Eyre Highway in the late 1950s. It took several days to cross the Nullarbor because of the potholes and bull dust, unless you put your car on a train between Port Pirie and Kalgoorlie
I just completed my trip from Sydney to Perth through VIC & SA, it was such a great experience going through the Nullarbor. I might have to go this way next time I do it!!
@@sadiqandnature noticed you were travelling 140km/h on the speedo in the video. I know the NT has a speed limit of 130 but I thought WA was 110. Did the cops give you any trouble?
That was one hell of a great video on a great country. I might try one day . My son has done it a lot and proved can be done in 45 hours non-stop Perth to Sydney.
Good trip my friend, some day i'll visit Australia, i want to know Sydney and Perth, beautiful cities haha...You should drive from Perth to Broome and make a road trip video about it...Greetings from Venezuela!
TBH when i rewatch the video again i thought i could have made much justice to the video by filming it in correct frame rate. But its ok i find results alright and thank you
Awesome Bro. You did a similar journey to me in my 2012 Camry in 2018. The barrier highway is the way to go especially if you want that Mad Max experience dodging roadkill lol :)

Thank you :). Glad you enjoyed watching my video. No more restrictions now so u can plan trip outback
Very well captured brother💯
Solo trips are a big adventure in themselves - it is something more than just a journey.
🤗Loved the video and the glimpses of scenic views.
Thank you for sharing them.
Appreciate it bro 🙋🏻♂️
Thank you
I love 💓 this video clip
I love Australia, and now I miss it, I leave far away.
Shed a tear 😪 Looking to the Southern Ocean. I 💕 my home.
❤️🙋🏻♂️
Brilliant.. if I was doing that trip I'd choose a 1990's Toyota as well. Thanks for sharing.
You are most welcome :)
Thank you Sadiq, for showing us your trip. I loved how beautifully you shot and edited the video. The captions tied it all together. I am looking forward to seeing your next trip.
Thank you so much Ian 🙋🏻♂️
Did the opposite in a Daihatsu Charade. First time in my life that I experienced a full sunrise (the Nullabor road is prety staight) listening to my favourite music on casette. Magical. Also scared the crap out of myself driving through a herd of cattle at 100 km per hour and at some point realising there were no fences on either side of the highway.
hahaha that's the scary part mate. I avoided driving at night
My wife and I drove from Perth to Port Macquarie NSW and in her Fiesta a few years ago. This video makes me want to do it again!
That must be most memorable trip for you guys. Good on ya
Corolla’s are such a well made model - they are built to last. Mine will be 19 years old next month.
Damn 🥵🥵
The last 40 years, Toyota havent produce any bad car yet. All the car last at least 200000-300000km.
super awesome Dude! well done. Those corollas go forever. thanks for sharing the trip :)
Great video made me nostalgic. I travelled from liverpool through mildura, ceduna to perth in 2011 with the first and favorite car commodore hearing queen all the way. One of the best drive of my life wish i could do it again.
There is always next time mate 🙋🏻♂️
Old Toyota's are the best! We once drove 60kms on an "empty" tank in our old Cressida. Rolled into the Auski road house (Karjini WA) and the car ran out at the pump!! We love taking long road trips and love your video! Its simple and beautiful; its straight to the point without a heap of needless, irritating chatter! Well done!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)
Great! you did what I always wanted to do when I was in Australia. Thank you for taking us to view the scenes along the trip thanks
You are welcome
Thanks
To good to hear that mate. I'm glad you enjoyed the video
I done it in a 2002 corolla and lived six months out of it whilst venturing my way to Perth and settling down, best cars going, reliable, cheap on fuel, any top video mate🙌😎🙌
Yes sir. Agree with u
I remember I watched this video last year and now when I see it again, it still feels so good. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much
This brought back memories of my way home from my Lap of Oz after 2 and 1/ 2 years, I got back a few months before COVID hit. One thing I never did is drive at night, not with a 3 and 1/2 ton caravan and a new Ford Ranger Wildtrak, with roo bar and powerful spotlights. That was very brave of you
Loved your vid, thanks for sharing. 😎
Thanks for sharing ur story
Cool video. I will be doing a very similar trip soon, from Newcastle to Perth for a new job. I think I will buy a second 20L jerry can, I hadn't considered petrol station being closed/out of fuel. Thanks for sharing.
You will definitely enjoy the drive i guarantee
I really enjoyed this video. I have done Wollongong to Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast and also Wollongong to Melbourne numerous times but I would definitely love to do Wollongong to Fremantle. I always say that it’s on my bucket list of things to do. Well done Sadiq, this must’ve been something that you will remember forever. Stay safe
Wollongong is ❤️ especially sea cliff bridge and South coast of NSW. Yes this trip is so close to my heart
I'm glad you enjoyed the video🙏
Hi, I did my 4K kms from Tamworth to Mandurah on April 2021. It was really such a blessings to made this trip possible. I did the similar workout plans for my trip on 2017 model Mit colt. It took 5 days for me. I literally loved the place called CEDUNA, still i can imagine that phenomenal dusk. And I really missed that to see Cobbar mining/Gum tree/Salt lake. Thanks for this wonderful video mate.
I can feel your trip 👌. Absolutely the solo long drives will always have a story to tell
great vlog we are about to embark on this journey in august . Hope you are enjoying Perth .
Thank you 😊. You have a safe journey. Yes lovin' Perth so far
John C.
Your story sounds interesting 🙋🏻♂️
Nice photography. Did this trip way back before Nullarbor was bitumened, quite an adventure. One thing impossible to photograph is the night sky in the outback, it’s an awesome experience.
Thank you sir
I love driving long distances in Australia. The longer I live here the more beautiful and awe inspiring I find it. This makes me want to go road tripping again. I notice petrol in Southern Cross was $1.19. Now over $2. If it wasn't for all the imbroglio with the state borders back then it would have been a great time to long distance road trip.
Absolutely. Yeah fuel prices have gone up drastically
My nephew did it on an old postie bike. Got flooded on the Nullarbor. Great trip!
Damn. Respect to your cousin
Must say great video and good work, good on you mate ;) this motivates me to take long road trips and see my beautiful country Australia 🇦🇺😊
So glad to hear that. Yess don't delay. Just do it 👌
@@sadiqandnature i would love to but this lockdown sucks 😫
@@awaismushtaq5975 I’m having the same issues. I can’t wait to do this!
Thanks, i'm planning on a similar trip in my camper once things are back to normal..
All The Best
Loved watching this - am planning a trip and got a few tips! Liked the music and visuals too! Thanks
Appreciate that mate. Thank you
Hi Sadiq, elo keren banget sih berani sendirian naik mobil dalam situasi wabah covid19. Video selama perjalanannya juga bagus2 😍👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you
We did this from Brisbane to Perth in a 1978 Honda Accord in 1987.
Fantastic trip.
Did the whole Nullarbor in the day (2 drivers) with time to see a lot on the way.
I'd love to do it again.
Just a tip.
Try to match your camera frame rate to your editing frame rate to eliminate the jerky footage.
Great video.
Hehe Thank you so much 😁. I am new to editing so learning. Thanks for the tip :)
@@sadiqandnatureyour editing is fine- nothing wrong with it at all.
@@rachkate76 You so kind. But that comment does really helped me step up my editing game!! Watch out my latestttttt videos and shorts Rach ❤️😊
Wow I’m watching this and thinking to have a such trip there in Australia 🇦🇺
Amazing country
Absolutely. Its a beautiful country
Covid free Country!
Cool and nice travel vlog you've experienced that on your 1998 Toyota Corolla. 😁👍👍
Great job Sadiq! I am going to study in Perth next year, and I also want to drive across Australia, road trip is always attractive!
All the best man🙋🏻♂️
Thanks Sadiq bro... for your nice video... suddenly the idea came to my mind to see a journey from Sydney to Perth.... and I found your video.... Much love from Assam, India ❤️❤️❤️
Appreciate it bro. Thank you heaps
I really enjoyed watching your trip, she's a bloody big country ❤️🇦🇺
Thank you so much
I told you didn’t I though- sunsets in WA are the most beautiful! Take a trip to Mandurah please! That was our first home in Australia, I can write and sign you will not have seen a place like that before, it’s a small town on the estuary, beautiful homes and water everywhere and head down to Halls Head beach to watch the sunset from there :)
Also go to Fremantle, my favourite town near Perth.
Follow the gut feeling 🤗
You are simply awesome. Such a tranquil journey. Just be with yourself.
Thank you sir
Bravo! Me and my Corolla 95 salutes you and your car!
Thank you sir
Check out the fuel prices when he stops to refuel or take a nap.......and was only a year ago.......great video mate .....felt relaxing.....
Thank you sir
Driving from Bunbury to Sydney (Holden station wagon, then VW beetle) we had to camp by the dirt Eyre Highway in the late 1950s. It took several days to cross the Nullarbor because of the potholes and bull dust, unless you put your car on a train between Port Pirie and Kalgoorlie
I can imagine how good your drive would have been 😀
Brilliant video & good choice of sound track as well !
What a beautiful country ❤️. Hope i can visit there.
I was surprised by how good the roads were!
I just completed my trip from Sydney to Perth through VIC & SA, it was such a great experience going through the Nullarbor.
I might have to go this way next time I do it!!
The Australian outback looks like the North Yorkshire moors.
That was amazing...I have never done this trip pre-pandemic but will give it ago with your recommendations of what to take and be prepared for.
Just do it. Thank you
The view Looks amazing
I drive a fair bit for work, I really must film some of it one day. This is beautifully relaxing to watch, thank you for posting it.
Thank you ☺️ Really appreciate
This looks awesome. Really want to do this sometime in the future. Can't do it whilst emperor McGowan has his border closed tho.
Hahaha but hey you can plan a road trip from Perth to Broome. 🤪 I am planning one soon tho
@@sadiqandnature noticed you were travelling 140km/h on the speedo in the video. I know the NT has a speed limit of 130 but I thought WA was 110. Did the cops give you any trouble?
Very Nice Veere ..keep going lovely video thanks
Thanks bro
That was one hell of a great video on a great country. I might try one day . My son has done it a lot and proved can be done in 45 hours non-stop Perth to Sydney.
Damn 🥵 Respect to your Son
@@sadiqandnature Should have mentioned was a road train. Was a way to make money fast ,not easy.
Great! You are an inspiration mate! Its really helpful to plan a trip from Sydney to Perth!!
Thanks heaps mate 🙋🏻♂️
Legend, mate, legend. Planning one!
Just watched. Great video mate! Well done.
Thank you Mate
My dream country❤ My lovely place on the world. A soon I’ll be live there
Clicked on this thinking I'd see a classic Corolla (like the 79' that was my first car), this just made me feel old.....
Corollas are built strong
Good trip my friend, some day i'll visit Australia, i want to know Sydney and Perth, beautiful cities haha...You should drive from Perth to Broome and make a road trip video about it...Greetings from Venezuela!
I really appreciate that mate :). I will definitely do that
Well done video. Its not easy to squeeze it in 15 minutes! The day the petrol station was closed is the scariest thing that could happen.
I know right. But I wasn't afraid at all. Coz lot of truck drivers on road are Indians so that shouldn't be a problem even if i ran out of petrol :)
Did that in 1974 in an FB panel van with my wife and two small children. No road, of course, just a gravel track. Took us 8 days.
Respect
Fantastic production mate. Just perfect.
Thank you sir
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went,
And cannot come again.
Thanks for making this... our family enjoyed watching this!
Thank you Andy. Going to release a Solo Camping video tomorrow at 5pm AWST. Must watch with your family. I promise you will love it
Gorgeous, the trip was shot by mobile and the video was edited very well, very enjoying watching this. BTW, Corolla is the best even in old models
TBH when i rewatch the video again i thought i could have made much justice to the video by filming it in correct frame rate. But its ok i find results alright and thank you
Weldone mate. That's one hell of a journey!
Thanks bro
Enjoyed the journey more the second time around. Maybe because we are stuck in NSW forever...Thank you.
Thank you ❤️
Great video!! reminded me of my own trip from Sydney to Perth back in 2013. Took me 4 days and surprisingly I stopped by at BP Dubboo too for fuel.
Hahaha what a coincidence
What an epic journey! Stay safe mate! Cheers
Thank you
Perth: one of my dream destination
You must Visit ☺️
Brother, I loved your video..in 2013 I was on my way from Victoria to WA, looking for work in Toyota Celica '98 model..
Thanks bro. I'm sure its a memorable drive
Awesome Bro. You did a similar journey to me in my 2012 Camry in 2018. The barrier highway is the way to go especially if you want that Mad Max experience dodging roadkill lol :)
Thanks bro. I can't wait to travel to Broome next
I hit a kangaroo on the barrier hwy near cobar , so many kangaroos and goats at night
