Having already experienced the all new Mint business class seats on the JetBlue A321neo, I thought it might be fun to see what basic economy class is like on the exact same flight (B6424 from LAX to JFK).
The fact that I had an entire row of seats to myself on this 5 hour flight across the country probably made it seem better than it was (I know). But even the flight was full and I was crammed deep into the seat I had reserved (24A), I’m confident that I would have still really enjoyed this.
The snacks were unlimited, the entertainment was top notch, and the seats themselves were perfectly fine for a long flight from Los Angeles to New York.

@@Archduke17 Economy reviews get a smaller amount of views since seat wise, every seat is more or less the same. Service is pretty similar between every airline too.

I got to experience the cabin refresh they did on their A320s this past December - and it really was nice - idk how much it differs from the 321s, but I liked it.
My JetBlue experiences have all been great. Once I had a crew member greet me by name without asking and I was in economy. I've also had ground staff waive fees for changing flights as well when they did not have to.
11:23 Hey Scott, this is actually an NFC logo for payments using credit cards with the tap to pay function, or Samsung, Apple, and Android Pay. It's likely that it came with the seats but it's not in use for Jetblue.

I have done my domestic flying on JetBlue and have been quite pleased. Decent seat pitch, free snacks and drinks - and they never lost my luggage.

Travel demand is normally low after the holidays. I flew on Delta in January from BOS-ATL. Our flight was delayed and due to some intended missed connections at ATL and two other flight options to take on this route (if you were there early enough), we ended up flying with only like 40-50 pax. Not only did I get a whole row to myself, but I got the last 15 rows of an A321 to myself!
Having an entire section of an airplane to yourself is the best. 😄 I just wish it happened more often!

Yeah it insane to think that they were rated the worst airline.
Im from dominican republic and jetblue its been delaying flights for more than 7+ hours to JFK and EWR leaving elderly and people with little kids and babies stranded in the airport for hours and just giving people 16 dolars coupons for food, its been happening since June.

We arrived at 10:30 in the morning at the airport, the flight was around 12 o'clock there, and we left nothing more and nothing less than *"10 at night"* (It was the last flight I had before the pandemic, the airline was a chapter)I am also del caribe, and the past year I have never been disappointed by Jetblue. But I am not surprised since it has been years since Jetblue had been at war With the Dominican Republic( and many parts of Latin America, without offend)

I flew in September JetBlue from Washinton DC to San Diego, CA changing planes in Boston. Their economy class I really enjoyed; their entertainment system had up to date movies plus some older ones. I will definitely fly them again

JetBlue's Economy looks incredible. JetBlue's newer cabins are certainly a step up from what came before, even if that was revolutionary at the time! Also, I could totally devour all of that cheese and crackers, looked so good! I also really love what JBU have done with the NEO, from the toilets to the pantry, it's just such a lovely, warm and inviting cabin with loads of those classic features! I totally think you should review their transatlantic ECO experience at some point, it looks pretty good and I think will definitely shake things up as they start more and more routes.

Good review, thanks for the info. I’ll be flying from Dallas to Boston soon and this will be my first JetBlue experience. I usually fly Southwest, but JetBlue Blue (not basic, I need a carry-on) was much less expensive and nonstop flights both ways. Sadly I think I’m on the older A320 which I don’t know much about, I’ve only flown on Boeing aircraft as far as I know. Other than military. I guess the A320 are the old work horses, hopefully not too beat up. Nothing better than a row of seats by yourself! In the 80’s while in the Navy I flew from New York to Rome on a Pan Am 747 a few days after the Rome airport bombing, and that plane was maybe a third full. I had an entire section to myself.

The 2 things you asked about when you were getting in your seat:
1. The hand with the square and little waves next to it should be for a tap credit card transaction (like you find at stores where you tap your card chip and go).
2. This looks like MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) webbing. Initially designed for military use it has found its way into civilian life and is convenient to use if you have MOLLE gear to attach to it.

Pretty cool! Yeah, I still need to try out United’s new entertainment system as well - I’ve heard pretty good things about it.
Now that is Economy Class. i love that they have a little snack pantry, the IFE is full of options, and those seats ain't too bad ether, Oh and the brick pattern on the bathroom wall is nice, for 5 hours it's a very nice way to travel.

Love me some JetBlue!! That $9 snack tray would be $4.50 with the JetBlue credit card...not why I got the card, but one nice perk. I look forward to trying the A321neo someday soon. Due to the pandemic, my flying is down to maybe one trip a year. I'll have to check out those other channels you mentioned and report back to see if they really do a better job reviewing...just hope they are sarcastic....cause what's life without some funny? Am I weird for watching until the end? I wasn't expecting anything...but maybe a suggestion is...Ferris Bueller your way out sometimes..."It's over...go home..." LOL Yeah, I know, overdone. But that makes it funny.

Did they serve free food for 5 hr or more flight? We will fly from NYC to Los Angles which is 6 hour long.
Just snacks. There is food for purchase though, which is slightly more substantial.

I think there is a market for an economy class service like this as i would pay a bit more, Not quite premium and definitely not basic, U.K to canary islands and Cyprus is 4-5 hours in basic economy with no entertainment can be a bit of a drag and i would welcome and pay the extra.
Wow, I didn’t think it was that far from the UK to the Canary Islands. 😵 But at least you have much easier access to stupid-cheap $10 flights than we do. 😄

In the United States there really isn't one great great airline like Emirates or Singapore, but JetBlue is certainly the best.
Was this an actual Blue Basic fare? If so, that defintely shouldn't have included free seat selection!

Sep 23 2022 I fly JetBlue first class every thing great but two hours delay give a 20/ credit but only good for two months aft that don’t able to use I thinking short time but every thing was great
