Hi! Great video. As a JetBlue flight attendant, I can say that your assumption is 100% correct. The regular NEO’s meant to fly transcon only have ovens in the front galley to serve hot food for mint only. With the addition of seasonal transatlantic flights to Dublin and Edinburgh, some of the “domestic” NEO’s had to be used, and on those planes it’s just not possible to serve hot meals in economy.

@@fghjkas5098but it’s the same with other airlines. Look at wizzair. They do flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi from Europe instead of smaller airports in that area. To TAP flying to new york
Aer Lingus makes use of that capability very well, flying to so many secondary US cities from Dublin. Personally the only thing that might bother me about long range single aisle flights is the fact that toilets are all shoved in the back in most cases and there’s less room for people to give way to each other. For most of us that fly in economy, the hard product will hardly change if the seats are equipped with IFE, charging points, all the mod cons widebodies have. Maybe in business class it could be a different story, but I haven’t heard anyone complain about A321LR business class yet.
Where the hell do you see less comfort for passengers here? The opposite is the case. I think everyone who flies economy on other airlines would be grateful for the space and all that JetBlue offers
@@gerhardma4687 that was clearly a statement about narrow bodies on general, not about JetBlue vs other airlines. everything else being equal a narrow body is less comfortable than a wide body (less space to move around, less space for the crew to prepare service so it's slower or less, more turbulences,...). So if an airline who would otherwise use the same seats and service on a widebody is using a narrow body you get a worse experience.
I'll die on this hill but JetBlue is the NUMBER ONE economy class in the US and Europe. Legroom, WiFi, fares, IFE. All superior. Also, A321 Neos are super quiet but that's also available elsewhere.
I’d agree with that! I began using JetBlue in 1998, flying on company business, via their original routes to Buffalo and Long Beach. You could always count on their generous legroom. But they’ve become less generous in recent years, they’ve had many flight delays because of computer systems, and JFK is no longer convenient for me. They used to fly from New York Stewart and Westchester, but they exited SWF entirely. Despite all that, they still offer the most legroom on an economy ticket.
They're also the least expensive flat bed business class anywhere I've had reason to travel, international or domestic. I've got a chronic illness that means more than about five hours in an economy seat leaves me wrecked for days. I've been able to do a lot of trips with Jet Blue that just wouldn't have been possible without the chance to lie flat and rest for most of the flight.
I fly Mint, and we still get hot meals Transatlantic. But, now it’s one cold, two hot choices. BTW, it pronounced Tall•Less. The Greek Philosopher is Thay•Leez.
the trick in these flights is the winter headwind. the A321LR has a rated range of 4600 mi (inclusive of reserve) (at full passenger load?). it could be slightly longer with 16 B + 143 economy passengers. The London - NYC distance is 3460 mi. At the rated 511 mph cruise speed, this is a 6.77hr flight after acceleration to speed and excluding turns. If the winter headwind is 100mph, then the net speed over ground is 411, corresponding to 8.4 hour flight time or effective distance of 4307mi. I was on the United Olso to EWR flight, a 757 with winglets, range 4400mi?, distance 3672mi. The captain said we have to stop in Gander, then overnight for a replacement crew. As the flight went, they had enough fuel for Albany, but we still had to wait for a replacement crew to be flown in.
In regards to the cold main meal, I travelled from JHR to JFK this summer and due to an equipment swap I ended up on one of the transcontinental (N2) neo LRs. At first I was dissapointed to hear about the change as I fly on this route with jetBlue semi-regularly but the quality of the cold meal was just as good as the hot. One other issue that wasnt mentioned is that the N2 registered neos have a lot more standard class seating but the same number of bathrooms so the wait times may be longer though that wasn't an issue with my flight as it was an equipment swap so there were quite a few empty seats.
@ you’re correct about the one bathroom in the middle but they took that from the front of the cabin as on the N4 registered neos there are two bathrooms in the front whilst there’s only one at the front on the N2 registered neos.
This is not the case and we can’t accept further decline of airline standards, I was a big fan of this relatively new service and used it twice. For Christmas and New Year travel you currently have to pay 1200+ dollar return for a cold tasteless meal, no seat selection, and no bags. While the last two are more common nowadays, the cold meal is really where I draw the line. The flight times are good, but never again unless they miraculously reverse this.
I just ordered from Holzkern and I must say, it is the best company I have ordered from in a long time. Quality, esthetic and super fast shipping is amazing! Had my order shipped from Vienna to Phoenix, AZ in two days and I didn't even have to pay for it!! Thanks, David, for introducing me to that company. And keep up the good work!! I have been following you for about 8 years now and am impressed by your work.
Amazing to hear! To be honest I think this is the current and only decent airline reviews channel right now. It's not flamboyant like Sam Chui's and not as political like Josh Cahill. Keep up the good work!
I am a cabin crew for a major Middle eastern airline and honestly we don’t have crew rest on 9 hours and 30 minutes long flight time. We just use curtains to rest in between.
Really good insight to why hot meals were removed! I wonder why JetBlue doesn't just outright say why. "We don't have enough new airplanes with enough galley space to consistently serve hot meals". Or if it's another reason, even a "it's cheaper" would be more appreciated than corporate meaningless talk. Makes me feel really iffy when they can't be honest about this.
It's been a good two years since I've been regularly watching Simply Aviation, but seeing the improvement in video quality since then, I have been impressed. It's clean, informative, and interesting throughout. Keep up the good work!
I would get rid of a pillow and bring my own any day to keep food on board. My favourite part about flying JetBlue is the food and to hear they’re getting rid of the hot meal service is absolutely infuriating.
Indeed. This is outrageous. I was a big fan of this relatively new service and used it twice. For Christmas and New Year travel you currently have to pay 1200+ dollar return for a cold tasteless meal, no seat selection, and no bags. While the last two are more common nowadays, the cold meal is really where I draw the line. The flight times are good, but never again unless they miraculously reverse this.
SPT here! Along with dehydration David is absolutely correct with the prolonged sitting. Every hour or so if you can get up and walk the length of the cabin once it will stimulate your musculovenous pump, which is basically your working muscles moving fluids around mechanically. If you sit for a long time your fluids have a tougher time moving around without the help of muscle contraction :). Great video as always David!
Although I am a tech business with cybersecurity videos, I still absolutely love all of your videos. They are my inspiration. Keep up the amazing work and content.
Yep! I feel seen as I'm more into stuff like tech, comics, and animated TV, but had watched aviation geek videos as part of research for a since-cancelled fan-fiction, TH-cam would recommend me more, and I'd watch them out of curiosity.
I had credits for Iberia and Jet Blue so I rolled them over to my son - one way BOS to Orly on IB and one way return CDG to BOS on Jet Blue. He's about 183 cm tall and found Jet Blue more comfortable in econ than IB in an extra leg room seat.
(21:19) I think the lack of Bluetooth audio support is a limitation of the Thales Avant platform, because I had flown on one of the Singapore Airlines A350s which had KrisWorld (their IFE service) running on the same platform, and that too didn't support Bluetooth audio, but I also flew on one of their 787s which instead had it running on a Panasonic Avionics ex3 and that did support Bluetooth audio. Both of these plane types were shown in a past Simply Aviation video (or a video from a different TH-cam channel) that I think may have been hosted by different hosts, but I specifically mention these as I had flown on both on a return trip.
@@KS-xe5mi I get the IFE platform info from other TH-cam videos (mostly other Simply Aviation videos), but if I had to guess, I think those might be using a newer Thales platform that does have Bluetooth audio support. (Edit: checking another Simply Aviation system, they seem to use a Safran platform)
My brother works for B6 at JFK...fixes those birds and keeps them flying. He says that the airline may start slashing routes to Europe soon as they are not the money maker B6 thought they would be. Guess we'll see what happens. Great video!
And that's the beauty of the A321LR. It makes B6 capable of instantly switching routes without having to worry too much about where to shift them to or where all that capacity can be redeployed since their per flight capacity is this low.
@Moonstone-Redux True! On that level it's a great plane. From a mechanical point of view, he hates the engines B6 chose to put on their 321s (think CFM Leap if I'm not mistaken). He says those engines are having a lot of teething problems and break all the time. He wishes the company had chosen the other engine variant that can also be used with 321s, as they're more reliable.
@@mlorthioI believe that JetBlue have the pratt and Whitney geared turbo fan engine which is causing problems to airlines due to groundings needed to fix their issue.
JetBlue just this week have announced Boston from Edinburgh. Competing with the daily summer delta 767 flight. One of united’s most profitable routes in Europe is also Edinburgh, so JetBlue have a lot more competition than it may seem there. Great to see another airline across in Europe and another option for travelers.
Excellent video showing some of the emerging issues with A321’s that have been pushed to far. Throw in cruising altitudes 10,000 lower than widebodies and arrival fuels far lower meaning far more diversions and the 321 is the biggest step back in air travel in years. Galleys to small, low cruise altitudes, 40kts slower and 10,000’ lower im trying to find positives but all i see are issues..
The service that you got on this flight was awesome! I love the snack bar; and catering service was excellent. It's a bit disappointing to see them downgrade the meal although they have a reason to do so, because I rarely see any airline upgrade a hot meal again when they're serving a cold meal
lots of interesting insights. As a long time JetBlue customer I’m interested to see how the international routes work out and how they can balance cost with innovating their product. If you get the opportunity to try MINT you should, though I’ll note that when my partner and I were able to try it, an equipment swap from the A321XL to the A321 booted us from our mint seats. We lucked out as our plans were flexible and a gate agent was able to book us in mint for the following day but hugely irritating for people who didn’t have that flexibility. If we ever get the chance again we’d book towards the front of mint!
Superb video as usual. Very good analysis regarding the overall comfort/space of the cabin of an A321 for transatlantic. That's a point not typically raised during talk about narrow body jets for transatlantic travel.
I once flew with the B757 from Hamburg to New York and can say that after about 6 hours some passengers became restless. The narrowness of the airplane somehow gets on your nerves after a while and for me such an aircraft is unsuitable for a long-haul flight for this reason alone.
I flew from gatwick to boston a few years ago on jetblue, and was completely shocked at how much better the service was than any other transatlantic airline i had flown before - it felt like i was flying the class above, yet for the same price if not cheaper than other airlines. The food was actually good instead of the usual slop they serve on planes, the legroom was better than any flight i had been on before, and there was free actually good wifi, and plug sockets, which I had never seen on a transatlantic flight before. Its a shame they dont have a London to Newark route, as newark (as much as i hate it) is often a more convenient airport for me than jfk when I visit family in new jersey.
I hope JetBlue makes it through their current troubles so I can try out their service one of these days. We had JetBlue service from Kansas City to Boston for a brief time, but they cut it after a few months, and they just announced they're cutting the JFK-LGW route and the second daily JFK-CDG route. They're also cutting back on several domestic routes.
Recently tried JB Transatlantic flight from LHR and wasn’t a fan. I also didn’t expect a cold meal and prefer the wide body on these transatlantic routes.
Even if half of the cabin is business class and the legroom is pretty decent in economy, I still will never fly transatlantic on a narrowbody unless I absolutely have to. I've done 7.5 hours on a 757 from Keflavík to Seattle before and it was brutal. Very little room in general and the cabin size really starts to feel small the further the flight goes on. I'm not even a claustrophobic person and it still makes me uncomfortable.
Flew jetBlue from Boston to London last year. Absolutely loved it. The a la carte meal service was definitely the highlight for me, it's a real shame they're getting rid of it:(
We just done Amsterdam - Dubai - Amsterdam with the family on a Transavia 737. No entertainment, no charge ports, no blankets, no pillows and limited food which you need to pay for. Was it bad? Not really when you prepare. Have power-packs with you, tablets for the children, a good book for yourself and bring snacks yourself. On the return flight we took a whole bag of KFC from the airport. Also cost money but at least you got something of your own choice. The 7 hour flight was very bearable.
FYI ..if you’re ever in the NYC area DIG has actual restaurants around the city and their food is fantastic! I eat their all the time ..the experience is similar to Chipotle where you pick & choose but the food is way better..I was so shocked to see them partner with JetBlue because they’re such a relatively small company but Congrats to them!
just to say i have a buddy who works at jetblue all the NEOs that jetblue have are a mix of LRs and reg NEOs high density The registration with 20 are the High dens NEOs and the 21 and 40 series NEOs are LRs just with different cabin layouts. Also i enjoyed the video
I'm a pretty big fan of hot meals on long flights. Granted, trans-atlantic from the coasts isn't the longest route, so might not bother me as much, but I do think lack of hot meals might nudge me away from JetBlue, if I did the route regularly.
Yes I did it and it’s outrageous.
Cutting the hot meal is not where I would have cut. IMHO they should've cut the free alcoholic beverages for economy rather than the hot meals, one free alcoholic drink likely costs the airline more money than those hot meals. That meal presentation is one of the best I've ever seen for an economy class meal. I've had business class meals that weren't that nice.
Why not, at the time of booking, check what it would cost to fly with the other carriers? This might put the hot Vs cold meal into perspective along with the lack of bluetooth ear phones?
I am not surprised that they are reducing hot meal items. those galleys are very tiny to work in. I understand that the lack of a pillow is not as ideal, those blankets still do look very plush and can be used as a makeshift pillow.
I've come to expect airlines to not have Bluetooth headphone options but what I end up doing is just putting on the free headphones they provide and then putting my noise cancelling headphones on top and that way you can shield yourself from the engine noise and don't deafen yourself with lowd volume.
Great report as always from you guys! Also, Not that I don’t like hearing your voice, but are there any normal trip reports coming up or are you guys changing to this format?
Great flight and review. This flight remind me about your trip report video around two years ago on same aircraft type, on transatlantic route, but different aircraft and the airport. I feel the old opinion which full of pros and cons will be appeared in this video. My opinion is, I think this is the future of Transatlantic flight or maybe some long distance flight, connecting point to point.
As someone who is hard of hearing and who speaks English as a second language I'd really love to order by screen. But since I'm out of the range of an LR Jetblue won't be an option in the forseable future. A feature I missed on my last flight (with Norse) which would be worth checking in reviews: I couldn't find out which content in the entertainment system had closed captions. In a review I'd live to know if it's possible to filter content by availability of closed captions or if they offer closed captions for everything.
@11:53 - They definitely do have bluetooth - When I flew on JetBlue from LGW-JFK, the system allowed me to connect my Bluetooth headphones, unless it's a slightly older system to what I was on?
Did recently a Turkish Airlines A321 neo 4,5 hours flight to Istanbul. One thing this is the max time I want to fly in an airplane like that, no way 8 hours.
@cars-k8e , but you get in the air much quicker and get off the airplane much quicker. So you make up that time easily. M.78/.80 isn’t much different than .82/.84
@cars-k8e , about 15 min on a 6 hour flight between .78 and .85. And a wide body won’t fly .85 now a days. More like .82 to .84. Getting on and off is valid. I flew on a JetBlue from Amsterdam to JFK. They started boarding 20 min before departure and still pushed on time. And when we arrived in JFK, you get off in less than 10 min. You get through immigration quickly too, since you are not in line with 400 people and the bags came out quickly. From leaving the airplane to getting in a taxi was 25 min. That will never happen with a wide body.
@@Cars-k8e I hate single isle planes for long flights, whatever the speed. The speed has nothing to do with it, I just don't want 8h in a A321! That's it.
Interesting to be able to fly JFK-AMS with JetBlue. This adds an intriguing new option to fly to Europe from Aruba, where I reside. And once in Amsterdam, you’ll be able to connect to most anywhere in Europe as well as other continents, maybe with at the most, a night layover. Thanks for the info.
I see that flight time hasn't got any better since the days of the MD11.....but as always they want to get you there as cheap as possible not as fast as possible.....
To correct and inform you on something you said: Currently all factory-new A321neo which are non XLR are LR. The difference can be spotted by the different designator at the end of the aircraft type as N stands for the old A321neo, NX for the LR and NY for the XLR. Airbus stopped making A321N without X at some point in 2021 (I think) and since then has only made A321NX. You can easily spot the difference between the A321N and NX by looking at the exit configuration: The N has the same layout as the old A321ceo with four main doors, while the NX often has overwing exits, or any other exit configuration other than the old one (although there are very few exceptions to this).
You are talking about Airbus Cabin-Flex (ACF) which is the new standard since 2021. The NX stands for this configuration, not to distinguish between the regular neo and the LR. He showed Jetblue's list of 321 planes at 24:27. They are all labeled nx, while only have of them are actually LR versions.

I think the regular Neos actually have 1 more bathroom, there’s one between the mint and economy class cabins on them
@ you’re correct about the one bathroom in the middle but they took that from the front of the cabin as on the N4 registered neos there are two bathrooms in the front whilst there’s only one at the front on the N2 registered neos.
all a321LRs that B6 has, do have Mint suites lol do u remember the REG????
This is not the case and we can’t accept further decline of airline standards, I was a big fan of this relatively new service and used it twice.
For Christmas and New Year travel you currently have to pay 1200+ dollar return for a cold tasteless meal, no seat selection, and no bags. While the last two are more common nowadays, the cold meal is really where I draw the line. The flight times are good, but never again unless they miraculously reverse this.
@@tql4849 So how come Transport for Wales can provide hot meals, cooked on board?
Check out the Flip Flop Traveller
You can also see layover aviation. Very laidback and gives some unique technical info.
10:33 Jayden Wong's favourite feature on every trip report he did: coat hook
Coat-huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk!
@well-blazeredman6187 Simply Aviation might say the word "coat hook" in a singsong voice 😂😂😂
I thought I'm the only one thinking of him 😂😂😂
An A321 transatlantic is still mind blowing to me
It's been a good two years since I've been regularly watching Simply Aviation, but seeing the improvement in video quality since then, I have been impressed.
Phenomenal review David!! JetBlue is one of the few U.S carriers that I’ve never heard anything bad about!
Thank you for showing this flight! I was always interested how JetBlue operates this flight
The neat little context segment at the beginning is an excellent touch.
I had credits for Iberia and Jet Blue so I rolled them over to my son - one way BOS to Orly on IB and one way return CDG to BOS on Jet Blue. He's about 183 cm tall and found Jet Blue more comfortable in econ than IB in an extra leg room seat.
Boston - Orly with IB? That should be a codeshare and not operated by IB
@@isaacreyes2584 it was IB , booked on their web site etc. They have a couple of flights a day via MAD from BOS.
Well, I don't know the IFE model but STARLUX's A321neoLR also have Bluetooth
@@KS-xe5mi
I get the IFE platform info from other TH-cam videos (mostly other Simply Aviation videos), but if I had to guess, I think those might be using a newer Thales platform that does have Bluetooth audio support.
Guess I got my engines mixed up! That's why he fixes them and not me.
I see Gatwick is getting chopped
i'm so glad you kept the APU bark in the video! it's one of my fav things to listen to!
Can't pat a pillow, pats snacks instead 💖
Sleep on a bag of chips😂
Perfect timing for this video. I’m flying JFK-AMS the 13th of this month
jetblue offers what the big airlines don't, at a cheaper price and people still demanding this and that, is a flight not a Michelin star restaurant
It is not cheaper, it’s actually on par with SkyTeam prices during peak periods. Check your facts
@@Bob-km5nw so you're telling me, that mint is the same price as DL ,AA, BAW, UA from EWR. i need to smoke the same shiet you are
Excellent video showing some of the emerging issues with A321’s that have been pushed to far.
I flew JetBlue twice from BOS to LGW and it was an enjoyable experience. Would definitely fly with them again
I miss the old intro music it was such a banger:(
Superb video as usual.
A hot meal is a hugely superior experience.
You answered every question I could have had. Great job.
I'm even more excited about the A321XLR. Can't wait to fly on one of those
I hope JetBlue makes it through their current troubles so I can try out their service one of these days. We had JetBlue service from Kansas City to Boston for a brief time, but they cut it after a few months, and they just announced they're cutting the JFK-LGW route and the second daily JFK-CDG route. They're also cutting back on several domestic routes.
I hope they don’t. JetBlue customer service is abysmal.
@@whiskeykilo2h429hoping the company doesn’t make it is a disgusting thing to say. You want 20,000+ people to lose their jobs? What a disgrace.
Recently tried JB Transatlantic flight from LHR and wasn’t a fan. I also didn’t expect a cold meal and prefer the wide body on these transatlantic routes.
Wow the first time that the food actually makes me hungry through the screen. Usually don't even have that in videos of business and first class.
As an avgeek I would love to use the inflight meals calendar 😂
Even if half of the cabin is business class and the legroom is pretty decent in economy, I still will never fly transatlantic on a narrowbody unless I absolutely have to. I've done 7.5 hours on a 757 from Keflavík to Seattle before and it was brutal. Very little room in general and the cabin size really starts to feel small the further the flight goes on. I'm not even a claustrophobic person and it still makes me uncomfortable.
Maybe you didn't think you were claustrophobic, and have now found out circumstances where you are.
My favourite seat in an airplane is behind the wing like the seat you seated in this video.
✈️
The GOAT of airline reviews.
Flew jetBlue from Boston to London last year. Absolutely loved it. The a la carte meal service was definitely the highlight for me, it's a real shame they're getting rid of it:(
How does it compare to TAP's or the other single aisle transatlantics you've done? They're my favorite video type you do.
I eat their all the time ..the experience is similar to Chipotle where you pick & choose but the food is way better..I was so shocked to see them partner with JetBlue because they’re such a relatively small company but Congrats to them!
just to say i have a buddy who works at jetblue all the NEOs that jetblue have are a mix of LRs and reg NEOs high density
The registration with 20 are the High dens NEOs and the 21 and 40 series NEOs are LRs just with different cabin layouts.
Also i enjoyed the video
Jetblue will also fly to Milan, Italy very soon 🇮🇹
another week, another Brutally Honest episode. so happy
As of, today 10th December, Jet Blue are also now scheduled to fly from Boston to Edinburgh! Starting summer 25
Thanks for the Aerolopa plug - much better than SeatGuru!
I'm a pretty big fan of hot meals on long flights. Granted, trans-atlantic from the coasts isn't the longest route, so might not bother me as much, but I do think lack of hot meals might nudge me away from JetBlue, if I did the route regularly.
Same
Yes I did it and it’s outrageous. I was a big fan of this relatively new service and used it twice. For Christmas and New Year travel you currently have to pay 1200+ dollar return for a cold tasteless meal, no seat selection, and no bags. Maybe they do the non digital safety briefing for fleet commonality? Identical procedures with older planes.
Great Review! Very interesting and informative. Thank you very much for this nice video! 😊
Brilliant video as always
Cutting the hot meal is not where I would have cut. IMHO they should've cut the free alcoholic beverages for economy rather than the hot meals, one free alcoholic drink likely costs the airline more money than those hot meals. That meal presentation is one of the best I've ever seen for an economy class meal. I've had business class meals that weren't that nice.
Finally!! The one I’ve been waiting for!! Thank you
Why not, at the time of booking, check what it would cost to fly with the other carriers? This might put the hot Vs cold meal into perspective along with the lack of bluetooth ear phones?
I’d think you’d have to compare cost/personal space to get a true value. I.e. delta’s comfort plus, United’s levels…
This will never get old, BZ David and Felix
I really like the meal service. Extra bonus for going reuable! It's a bummer it's going to be cut back a bit...
I am not surprised that they are reducing hot meal items. those galleys are very tiny to work in. I understand that the lack of a pillow is not as ideal, those blankets still do look very plush and can be used as a makeshift pillow.
That was a very good and informative Video one of your best.
The A321LR also got a MTOW increase from 93,5t to 97t. The third auxiliary Tank is optional, so the key is the higher MTOW.
I've come to expect airlines to not have Bluetooth headphone options but what I end up doing is just putting on the free headphones they provide and then putting my noise cancelling headphones on top and that way you can shield yourself from the engine noise and don't deafen yourself with lowd volume.
What's up members! I'm just noticing that it's odd B6 carries Pepsi products, as well as Seagram's "mixers," which are Coca-Cola products
I love JetBlue, and the new a321xlr look amazing too. However, nothing will beat the comfort of a wide body aircraft.
Very impressed that the power outlet at each seat includes usb type-c.
This!!
Great report as always from you guys! Also, Not that I don’t like hearing your voice, but are there any normal trip reports coming up or are you guys changing to this format?
Air Transat are using 321LR also, my daughter flown from Nantes (France) To Montréal (Canada) in one of those this summer
If you are based in Vienna, why didn't you take the night train from Vienna to Amsterdam, which is offered daily
Another excellent report, thank you!
Love that there's pizza served on a plane~
As someone who is hard of hearing and who speaks English as a second language I'd really love to order by screen.
But since I'm out of the range of an LR Jetblue won't be an option in the forseable future.
A feature I missed on my last flight (with Norse) which would be worth checking in reviews: I couldn't find out which content in the entertainment system had closed captions. In a review I'd live to know if it's possible to filter content by availability of closed captions or if they offer closed captions for everything.
20:00 Emirates offers the same exact pizza too lol.😅 JetBlue looks great, way better than American or any other US carrier.
Definitely emirates is way better . But jet blue is my favorite US airline
@11:53 - They definitely do have bluetooth - When I flew on JetBlue from LGW-JFK, the system allowed me to connect my Bluetooth headphones, unless it's a slightly older system to what I was on?
As far as I know... The A321neo designation is A21N, the neo LR are A21NX
The infamous Fyre Fest cheese sandwich - next up on Jet Blue as they save money on passenger food? Packed in like for 6-7 hours - tough going.
I like the NFC feature of the seat.
The cold meal looks unappealing to me. So I would hopefully get some food at a lounge or bring a meal onboard and hope they don’t run out of snacks.
Did recently a Turkish Airlines A321 neo 4,5 hours flight to Istanbul. One thing this is the max time I want to fly in an airplane like that, no way 8 hours.
Why not? You get the same space. Actually, a wide body has a lot more “middle seats”, which is worse.
@cars-k8e , but you get in the air much quicker and get off the airplane much quicker. So you make up that time easily. M.78/.80 isn’t much different than .82/.84
@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183 Any relevance?
@cars-k8e , about 15 min on a 6 hour flight between .78 and .85. And a wide body won’t fly .85 now a days. More like .82 to .84.
That's it.
A little typo in the intro Amsterdam/Schipol, I know you guys know it's Schiphol. Besides that, love the video!
JetBlue flies to many more European destinations
I wish they would fly to more UK cities, to save British travelers changing at Heathrow and bring virgin’s prices down on some of their routes
Congratulations on the video, big hug from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil....
I see that flight time hasn't got any better since the days of the MD11.....but as always they want to get you there as cheap as possible not as fast as possible.....
Actually, airplanes flew a bit faster in 80-s-90-s, and the time at security was less
Absolutely love JetBlue. Best American carrier in my opinion.
@ Wrong. All A321NX are LR. The ACF option was introduced with the LR and later made standard along with the LR version and thus all NX are LR.
I would be happy to fly JetBlue transatlantic! This looks very bearable to me :)
