Thanks for the video. So your DRL halo rings stay on even at night when you have headlights on? Do you get flashed or have any issues with MOT? I thought the DRL halos should ideally go off when main headlights are on? Thanks for your help.
DRLs can stay on all the time. During the day and even at night, as long as they don't flash. As for brightness, they are not bright enough to be even close to dazzling drivers. Some cars standard DRLs are far brighter than these. I actually removed these and put a different set on.
@@justcommander3143 thanks for the info, I’m actually attempting to fit these to a Alfa 159 as they exact same size as standard fogs. Just working out where need to wire the yellow DRL cable into. Glad they don’t dazzle others, makes it easier just to have them on all the time. 🙌
Yep, not sure where on a alfa 159. The jeep commander has 2 fuse boxes in the engine bay, making it much easier. I wired mine up to a fuse that came on when the ignition was on. Seems to work well. Later I added a proper relay box which runs all my DRL's. Good luck.
@@justcommander3143 thanks for advice, really appreciate it! Yes that’s my hope, just got to find the right fuse. Shame it’s not summer as be out there in evening doing it but not much fun in dark wet and cold. Joys of no garage!
Where can I find clear corner lights like u?
When I changed my fog lights on my jeep , you do it through the wheel well !! You DO NOT have to take your bumper off !!!

Did you wire it into your existing fog light switch or did you use an after market switch...trying to wire led fogs in my WK right now. Thanks
I just used the same connector that went into the old ones. Literally a straight swap. So the new fog lights come on with the original switch.
Those pins are a pain 😂
