    May Filipino community nag paparty kahpon may isang menu n made from pinas di ko alam laing Pala yun at the age 48 now lang ako nkakain masarap pla sya. Ginawa ko humingi ako ng take out din Hanap agad ako s TH-cam kung Paano mag Luto. Now I got you. Thanks for sharing.

    I am not from Bicol but I super love laing and I cook when i feel like eating. The way you cook is NOT AUTHENTIC. But still good laing. Nakakapaglaway, your telling me to cook again. Hehe

      Not sure kung ano ang authentic sayo but i can say this is. The only difference is tinusta ko at ginisa ang pork. The rest are the same process. But thanks for the input. Happy cooking! ❤️

    Kapag wala kang gatang makuha or mabili kabayan, puwede rin ang powdered milk (diluted) then add na lang ng buttter or margarine. Mas matinding tip: pamantikain mo muna ang pork, para doon ka na rin maggisa ng bawang at sibuyas. Bicolano cook din ako (nagtrabaho sa barko).

    I don't believe na kakati po but as you cook it properly everything will taste good and tender. Didikit po kasi pag di hinalo. I used dried ones takes forever to cook nga lang but its really good

    Sa kawali nilalagay ko na ung Gata, baboy , luya, bawang, sibuyas,bagoong hanggang kumulo. Maluto at mag mantika ung gata at baboy. Then ung laing na. Make sure macover ng gata ung laing. Then siling green or any sili you want. Then madaming gata hanggang sa maluto na ung laing. Pde haluin ung laing once or twice para hindi masunog ung ilalim. At low heat lang cia while cooking. For me, makati ang laing pag hindi cia luto. Kaya kelangan lutuin cia sa love heat hanggang makita mo na magmamantika ung gilid ng kawali mo.

    I use spinach as a great substitute for taro/gabi leaves. Spinach comes out to be softer, smoother and silkier in texture as opposed to taro/gabi leaves. The rest of the ingredients are the same ones used in the original "Laing" dish.

    Thanks kuya Sa mga tips mo, tama nga May Minsan na makikita kang alien Sa laing kaya dapat icheck muna at ang Iba talaga buo pa na dahon. Taga Bicol po ako at correct diretso gata tlaga at Di na namin ginagamitan ng oil Pero parang gusto kong I try ang ganyan na luto. For those who are in the US sana, where ba nakakabili ng fresh na coconut milk? Lagi kasing naSa lata ang gamit ko, Mas masarap sana ang fresh na gata. Nung nsa Saudi ako May Lulu Hypermarket dun at May fresh na gata Pero dito Sa States, H-Mart Asian market at Lamart wala naman akong nakikita na fresh na gata at lalong Lalo na Sa Walmart wala.

    Kanya kanyang style ang paggawa nang laing love your style too but once I put the laing I just leave it very seldom ko siyang gagalawin until lanta na sya talaga. I only used fresh taro leaves ( laing ) kasi parang may nalalasahan akong iba sa dried laing. Usually I boiled the pork a bit first para lumabas ang fat niya so I don't need cooking oil. I also used dilis not too much. I found that it's good too if I used a bit vinegar since there is bagoong alamang ( paalis lansa) it really blend the superb laing take note don't put a lot of vinegar or else taste paksiw 😁😁😁 in my place no fresh gata so I used coconut cream + coconut milk in can . THANKS 😚😗

      Hindi mo ba sya nadinig? Walang fresh taro leaves sa ibang bansa unless may tanim ka, kaya mga sabi ni kuya get the greenest possible taro leaves you can find yung ka i import p lang.
