The good thing about this family is they never cease to be a Filipino despite being away from the Philippines. They’re so real walang pretensions. Love yah guys.
not mama lulu watching ate apple talk and mesmerized by her. the definition of a proud momma moment. AND MAMA LULU TAKING PICTURES??!! if that ain't every pinay moms ♡♡
I love how mommy support her daughter and everytime she watch her you can see that she adored her daughter and everytime her daughter is talking she's listening like literally seriously listening. I love this fam.
You really did great on this recipe. Boiling the leaves with water first is a good idea. I usually use 6-9 cans of coconut milk. I cooked Laing today using your method and I was down to one can of 170z coconut cream and one can 13oz of coconut milk. It still tastes delicious! Love your recipes and your happy family! Mama Lulu and Apple are funny and awesome! Thank you!
Apple, I’m from South Jersey, what I use for Laing is lacinato kale. It has the same texture as the taro leaves and it’s hardier than spinach., don’t get mushy...
Ang cute nyong mag-iina. Ginawa ko na embutido, pancit, adobo, menudo ang ngayon laing naman susunod! ❤️❤️❤️ Watching from Texas. I can’t wait for the next one. 😍
My mom just died and watching mama lulu makes me happy 😭 parehong pareho sila ng ugali. Keep making videos po kayo ang nagpapasaya sakin. Salamat po 😭❤
The way Mama Lulu expresses her love to ate apple shows how Filipino moms truly love their children.so happy that youtube recommended the first video I watched in your channel, I'm always looking forward tp watching this fambam ^_^
I love watching that your family is so loving to each other, even throughout the jokes and goofy moments. To see how much you all give respect to your mom is so wonderful to see. Thank you for your amazing videos!
Why do I always feel that I am part of your family while watching your videos.😛😛😛 hope to see you around! Am going to try this.Laing Recipe 😅 i tried mama Lulu's palabok and it was a hit!😘 thanks guys!
First off, you all are so funny! You. Make cooking so fun. I was born and raised in the US so I have no idea half of what you’re all saying in Tagalog but it is funny. I grew up eating Laing because my mom was from Bicol. The one thing that she always taught us when cooking Taro leaves, no halo halo the leaves too much because it will cause your throat to itch. Instead just keep pushing the leaves into the liquid. Once the leaves are soaked and cooked, then you can mix well. Just a little tid bit from my mama. ❤️
yes, that's how we do it here in Bicol :).. we don't mix our laing so much. Just pushing it from all sides until the leaves are soaked. tho' there are different varieties of taro leaves, perhaps the taro leaves they are using is the "princess" taro which is not itchy, so even if she mix it often it is not itchy.. that's the export quality laing ang more expensive and yummy... and there are different ways in cooking laing too and different ingredients are also use, it varies.. it depends in their place too...like in Cam Sur, we have our own style of cooking it which is different from Albay or Catanduanes or Cam. Norte or Sorsogon :) just saying... but overall, LAING is indeed a delish dish... :) yum yum
I love how you are having fun while cooking. Remembering the days when my parents and I used to do while cooking lunch. I cook laing the same way as Apple, and add fried galunggong, dilis, liempo, and at times with chicharon. ❤️❤️❤️
Very good cook this mother and daughter were best cook of any Filipino delicacies they both learned in cooking school Watch if you want to learned. I 💕 Love their cooking of Filipino foods I missed so long. 🙏 Thanks Lulu and daughter. God bless.

In India Konkan region We call it Aloo (अळू) the recipe is almost same but vegetarian. We use Jackfruit seeds instead of meat. Boil the jackfruit seeds for 15 - 20 mins in pressure cooker and then add it to gravy.. U must try this...
