I worked at the airport in Miami when Burt Reynolds was filming the movie Semi-Tough in the 1970s. He was the only actor in the film to interact with the airport employees. In between filming scenes, he would go around chatting, and signing autographs, he was very friendly. I remember him as a down-to-earth, sweet, funny man. I also read Sally Field's memoir and have been a huge fan since I was a little girl watching her in the Flying Nun. People are complicated...

My last relationship was a funny one... the one that hurt I've been married and divorced my last the shortest and most intense. I think Burt Reynolds continued to use Sally claims she was the love of his life because she was the classiest of all the women he was with. I think he’s was just a blip on Sally’s radars. She hadn’t spoken to him in 30 years! I don’t really remember relationships from that long ago.
There's a great lesson to this. If you aren't together anymore, don't waist your life. Let go and move on. If you know the reason it didn't work out and can both be truthful about it, then fix it quick. But I believe a lot of men hold on after a relationship ends. Women typically move on quicker. Obvious reasons.
