I'm glad that someone is finally talking about drugstore shampoo and the benefits without miss inform people telling things like: "silycones ruin your hair, salt is bad for you, look for clean shampoo" . Those ingredients are there for a reason.
I LOVE THE DOVE! I purchased it last week and it made my fine, dry hair so soft and silky. I'm in complete shock that I can buy shampoo and conditioner for $12.00! ❤
I love DOVE!!!! intense repair hair shampoo & conditioner the white and blue bottles thank you Abbey this set of shampoo and conditioner work for curly hair I'm suffering from breakage and dry hair but I'm so much happier with Dove products and I was expending so much money and not getting the results the I wanted.
Love the dove intensive repair set, but I don’t like the scent! So I gave it to my daughter a month or two ago, and her tangly 7 year old hair looks amazing!
Would love to see a few more drugstore brand reviews like you did with Pantene and Loreal. Like one on Dove, Garnier fruitis, Herbal Essences, Head and Shoulders. Loved the video so much by the way!!
Head n shoulders is my favourite shampoo and conditioner. Always leaves my hair so sift n shiny and I always get people asking what I use. They are shocked when I tell them 😂
Hear me out - I have fine-medium low porosity curly hair (type 3a-b) and I looove the marc Anthony bond repair rescue Plex line! It feels like an dupe of something higher end for sure and really makes my hair soft and feel nourished. The shampoo is definitely thick and super moisturizing, and the conditioner and mask both detangle my hair instantly (which is not something that usually happens with my curls). I was shocked at how much I loved it. And they have a leave in cream that reminds me of the Olaplex no. 6.
I have only used the treatment mask and LOVE IT. I am planning on buying the complete line (shampoo, conditioner and leave in) bc i use heat on my hair many times a week and i find little by little my hair is becoming less frizzy. I have 3c/4a hair. Def plan on using a cheap conditioner to detangle and then clarifying shampoo first which is my normal routine tho.
LOVE the Dove shampoo. I use it on my daughters, but find myself using it on days that my hair isn’t SUPER dirty and built up. I have fine hair and this does not weigh my hair down and cleans it so well! And 100% it smells amazing 🤩
I used to wash my hair every other day with the Dove shampoo and my hair was super thick. My hair stylist then told me that I was washing my hair to often so I started hair training. I would use dry shampoo and a stronger clarifying shampoo. I'm really starting to think that that is what caused my hair to get thinner. My scalp never ended up getting less oily
I feel better about the Dove shampoo and conditioner. I bought those two based on a brief comment you made about them a while back because after a perm, my hair was over processed and damaged. I read negative things people said after that post about the sulfates… Ive used it a few times now and I love how my hair feels, plus I feel like I get an extra day before I need to wash it again… my experience so far is great!
Shockingly, the Tresemme moisture shampoo and conditioner have been absolutely amazing for my hair. The slip it offers is fantastic. It cleans and detangles & rinses out quickly. I bought them in travel sized in a pinch once and I loved it so much I bought the full size. I’m still in shock how well this works for my long hair. I’ve tried a lot of different shampoo and conditioner over my 55 years and this one is a winner in my book. PS I used the Kirkland shampoo & conditioner and hated it.
This was my favorite in high school! It made my hair look like silk. It’s so affordable too! I am planning to use dove intensive repair because I color my hair twice a year (balayage)
@AbbeyYung Yes, please! I was going to ask if you could please do a review on the Tresame volume shampoo. I tried it years ago and wrote a review that it cleansed my hair well and kept my hair from getting as greasy! I think I stopped using it because I wanted something to help smooth my crazy semi straight/ wavy, damaged hair. And I was worried at the time that maybe I needed a repairing shampoo and conditioner. I was recently thinking of trying it again but I prefer to stick with Abbey approved products only. lol. Maybe you can do a review on the brand or the moisture and volumizing lines. 💖
I love your reviews and videos! The Aveeno apple cider vinegar shampoo is a great clarifying shampoo that I’ve been using once a week. Makes my hair feel amazing. Please do more of the drugstore brand reviews. There’s so many and these videos really help me pick good products!
oh god how good is the dove one..here it's so cheap so I thought why not give it a try...my over bleached hair loves it without weighing it down and the smell is just so nice and clean....abbey hands down you are my fav reviewer.. your tips are golden
The Kirkland products are a great example of "more is not always more." I use this perspective with skincare ingredient lists as well. Longer lists = higher risk of reaction.
Always love your reviews when I’m looking for new products to try. Chiming in on the Kirkland set - it works great for my fine, thin hair but here’s the caveat: I live in Colorado (super dry climate) and I now have to use moisturizing shampoos or my hair feels so dry and full of static. No matter the conditioner (ie too heavy or too light and scalp still feels dry), only moisturizing shampoos seem to combat the overall problem. I used to have greasy hair when living in a humid climate and could use clarifying shampoos - but not here!
I use the dove and love it!! I’ve also recently bought the Pantene volume and the deep conditioning mask and can’t believe how much I love it it’s my new favorite! For reference I have very long fine hair it’s thinning but not super thin yet. I’m working on combatting the thinning!
I will definitely be looking into the Dove products you reviewed! I'm looking forward to your review of the new Pantene Miracle Bond Repair Keratin + Vitamin E line as well as the new Garnier Hair Filler line!
I’m obsessed with your videos and reviews!!!! First thing I got was the L’Oréal bond repair pre shampoo and changed my hair 180 degrees after spending so much on other high end brands . Then I got the Dove mask, it was WOW !!! Now I got the Dove bond repair shampoo and conditioner and I’m crazy about this system!!! You are incredibly honest, committed and the most dedicated influencer I’m loving following and recommend ❤️
I have always suffered from seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp over the years and I spray colloidal silver on my scalp and massage it in as my first step after freshly washed and conditioned hair and I have had one small patch flare up (due to colour not being rinsed off properly) couple months ago and sprayed colloidal silver every night and by the third day it was gone, I’ve been doing this for the last 7 years and I swear by it! I am in the middle of my herbal medicine diploma, colloidal silver is antibacterial, anti microbial, antifungi and anti inflammatory. Try it, you will not be disappointed 😊
@@Pslm.103_1-4 it’s all lies you don’t turn purple or blue, you would have to consume liters and liters. Big pharma demonizing a great product because they don’t want you to know its benefits.
The Elvive Hyaluron Pure line has been a game changer for me!! My scalp is quite oily and it still gets greasy on day 2 with the scrub and the shampoo (I don’t use the conditioner), but it is WAY less greasy and way less noticeable.
I love the Dove Scalp + Hair Therapy clarifying shampoo for clarifying! I agree with your take. Also love the smell, it’s a light citrus and so refreshing. I’ll have to try the other formula for dryer scalp days/winter time!
Re: The Neotrogena itchy scalp shampoo: I would presume that it intentionally has so little scent, because fragrances are common allergens. I started using it a few weeks ago because of my own scalp issues-they happen a few times per year for me, and nothing else was helping this time 'round. I have long, fine, wavy-to-curly hair, and I have to say that not only is my scalp much happier, but my hair looks pretty good, too. I'm really impressed.
3:35 and 6:00 I think L’Oréal changed the formula of the Frizz-defy conditioner. the ingredients are very different, no Amodimethicone, and the bottle labeling is different. Also the cap color is now orange instead of red.
I have noticed such a huge difference with the L’Oréal professional bond repair system, with moisture, shine, tangles and breakage. At the beginning of my hair journey my hair was super fragile, easily broken and tangled. My hair is fine, thin, and straight with a little heat damage. I started the L’Oréal after having seen great results from 8months of K18. I find the products work well together.
I was using pureology and other overly expensive shampoos/conditioners and my hair was always so dry and frizzy. I just tried the ogx coconut oil for prewash and the dove repair shampoo and conditioner. My hair hasn’t felt this silky soft in over 8 yrs! No more frizz after air drying and my hair smells so good. Thank u 🙏🏽
Abbey, your content is great. As a 47yo woman, I struggle with my aging hair. It always looks dull. I stopped coloring my hair a few years ago to embrace my grey and promote healthier locks. My hair has always been fine and straight and everything I try just doesn't make a difference. I don't want to succombe to a short "old lady" cut. I want length, shine, health and youth. Help me girl😘
doesn't gray contribute to the "old lady" look the most, no matter the length? I also don't want to color my hair and have it be damaged from the harsh developer but having it be gray makes you look old, no matter what haircut/style you get
Rock your locks. I find dry damaged hair ages you, not the grey. Gloss adds a slip and shine that I was missing when transitioning from color. I now have been using: L’Oréal Ever Pure Bond and Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. Every week or two use a clarifying shampoo and CER-100 to deep condition. (All Ammey’s picks) Hair is amazing now 💙 The OGX coconut milk and coconut oil make a difference. (As Ammey suggests with OGX oil) I apply the milk on mid length-to-ends before shampoo. I finish my hair with the oil or milk on dry dull days. Less is more on fine hair. I now get multiple compliments on my hair. And yes I’m rocking my grey highlights
@@lenos653 I just try not to do anything else that's damaging like using a straightener or any heat. I also never bleach. just color enough to cover the gray.
Thank you for this review! I’m in a hair phase where I need more cleansing with the warmer weather, but still have dry scalp with fine hair. My gentle shampoos are not doing enough now, I end up with bumps on scalp. If I over-cleanse, I get itchy … I’m going to try a couple of these products after your review. Keep coming with more reviews - truly helpful. I have walked right by some of these brands from packaging and past influence, and now I’m anxious to try.
I've been LOVING the herbal essences bio renew argan oil line during the in between months, ginger in winter (super thick conditioner), and blue ginger for hot months. They are so different now compared to when we were younger with the moaning commercials 😂
I have added a couple of products to my routine that I think are worth mentioning, as they are drugstore price. They all come from the K Beauty brand Elizavecca, and are from their Cer-100 line, which I have heard is a dupe for K-18 (?). I have been using their Cer-100 Collagen Ceramide Coating Protein Treatment for a while as my mask treatment. Last night, I also added the Cer-100 Hair Muscle Essence Oil and the Cer-100 Collagen Coating Proteing Ion Injection (leave in treatment). Hole Cannoli, I woke up to silky shiny hair. I have menopause hair now (sob!) and it has become more coarse, but it is still manageable. It hasn’t looked this shiny in years 🥰. Even my husband started touching my hair this morning (he said it looked super shiny, and he is a bit of a Neanderthal, so for him to notice and say something, is, well, something 😂) I ordered my products from Stylevana and YesStyle. Everything was under $10, but you do have to deal with international shipping…
Abbey, I am grateful for the day I discovered your channel. I have learned so much. You are doing a huge favour by sharing your technical knowledge from Trichology course. I have curly hair and finally I know how to build their health. As a consumer, I feel well-informed. Thank you 🎉
Abbey I would love for you to talk about Odele it’s in Target and Ulta their line has products full of amodimethcone, great proteins like rice wheat etc and heat protective ingredients. I love their clarifying shampoo for curly hair, their deep conditioner, leave in spray and leave in conditioner.
Hi Abbey I have to use fragrance free shampoos for my eczema on my scalp, but I can use styling products with a bit of fragrance. You quickly get used to fragrance free shampoo and conditioner btw. There are so few really good fragrance free options for course curly hair (why is everything for curly hair heavily fragranced?), so I use the curlsmith fragrance free shampoo and it works well for me. Conditioner I can tolerate some fragrance in without my scalp screaming 😂, so I do mix in some fragranced conditioners into my routine. Best wishes x
Could you list all the fragrance free shampoos and conditioners you’ve tried? I found out I need to avoid fragrance due to allergies and I’m struggling to find options.
@@Nameless351 The curlsmith fragrance free line works even without having curly hair btw and is a great option. If you can tolerate some extracts then the Jessiecurl no added fragrance line is excellent. I have used the E45 shampoo (it’s not moisturising enough for my hair), Boots expert sensitive shampoo and conditioner (decent quality but not moisturising enough for my super dry hair and scalp), faith in nature fragrance free shampoo (didn’t like at all and used it on my brushes), Aveeno fragrance free shampoo (it’s fine). I hope that helps. You can often find fragrance free products in lines targeted at atopic skin eg Eucerin has one I haven’t tried yet. Depending on where you live will determine the choices available. Best wishes x
@@lorainemcgillivray77 thanks so much for all of these suggestions! I’ll definitely be checking them out! (I have an allergy to Propylene Glycol so I will be ecstatic if I find something that is both fragrance free and propylene glycol free!)
The Kirkland set for some reason has always been best with my hair. I’ll switch to high end brands for 6 months or so but year after year I’ll run out and use Kirkland which feels best. It grows faster and breaks less when I use it for some reason. I’ll do I clarifying shampoo every so often as well.
The Dove Intensive repair used to be my holy grail for YEARS until they changed the smell- I gave it up because I cannot handle the smell- it is soooo strong, perfumy, and does not dissipate with time. I wash my hair at night and I literally can’t sleep when I use it.
The Dove breakage remedy conditioner is unbelievably the best detangler I’ve used! With thick, long hair that tangles even in a bun, this works! Just coming out of a Covid shed,it was traumatizing to lose any more hair then I had to. I used a special shampoo for the shed so I didn’t bother with the shampoo yet.
I’ve used Garnier Whole Blends Honey Repairing Conditioner for years - can’t find another drugstore conditioner that beats it, it’s thick and has amodimethicone high on the inci list. I’m also curious about how you like the new Dove Bond Strength Peptide line? I’ve been eyeing the shampoo of that set
I love Dove, always have. They're been my go-to when price was issue with the salon brands and when I'm out of time and need something I can grab from the supermarket. Good to know they're also reasonable quality. Have been using the Pantene volume shampoo on my fine, bleached hair and can confirm its light, clean and voluminous after. Doesn't feel dry or tangly. Thanks for your awesome recommendations!
Do you have any recs for fragrance free hair products? Fragrance free skincare is easy to find but hair care (especially leave in products) are impossible to find. My nephew has a severe fragrance allergy and we’re struggling over here!
Would you do a deep dive into garnier true blends? I don‘t know why but I always come back to them since over 15 years… especially their honey shampoo and hairmask! I just don‘t know if it‘s just a me thing or if these products are really that nice 😂
I ALSO USE THE SAME DOVE AS YOU BUT IT RECENTLY CHANGED PACKAGING. IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE THE SAME BUT I KNOW THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA OF THE CONDITIONER BECAUSE IT IS NOT AS GOOD AS IT WAS. I AM STILL USING IT JUST UNTIL I FIND SOMETHING BETTER. I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD MAKE CONDITIONER TO SELL THAT THEY PUT IN HAIR DYE KITS. I AM VERY SUPRISED THAT YOU LIKE DOVE CONDITIONER BECAUSE YOU HAVE SOFT SMOOTH HAIR UNLIKE MY HAIR IS CORSE BLEACHED HAIR. YOUR HAIR IS VERY PRETTY AND NOT FRIZZY AT ALL.
Abbey my hair was tangled and feeling anything but soft while using the redken Frizz Dissmiss. I found this video and immediately ordered the dove intensive repair and holy cow! After 1 wash my hair feels and looks drastically better. I would have never picked this up off the shelf. Thank you!
I love the L'Oréal Ever Pure 21-in-1 leave in conditioner.....I wish they had it in the store I always shop in. So amazon is my go to for it. Idid buy the frizz ease leave in until i can get my Ever Pure 21-in-1 so this review helps. My fav oil is ogx coconut milk serum. It's lighter weight than got favorite. It isn't too heavy or thick for my thin fine hair and smells amazing. L'oreal Ever Pure lines is my go to for every hair care routine.... clarifying, bond repair, pre poo....etc. I love them all.
I made an order of haircare a while back and it never arrived I freaked out because I ran out of my shampoo and conditioner etc. I saw your TikTok and ran to the drugstore to get Pantene miracle rescue conditioner and volume and body shampoo. 1st wash was crazy! I’m never had soft flowy and bouncy hair from a shampoo and conditioner before. I’m in love and called to cancel most of my order. I was going to get redken extreme length combo but I’m going to return them fully and get some more of your recommendations
I dye my hair red and use colour depositing hair masks intermittently to to refresh my hair. What would be a good recommendation that’s colour safe & good for thin/straight hair that gets easily oily?
I would like to try the Dove, but fragrance is so near the top of the INCI that I won’t try it. Even if that weren’t a problem, the benzyl salicylate is an insurmountable problem because of an allergy. It is so difficult to find good products with no or very little scent and without allergens that I’m thoroughly frustrated and keep using the same products regardless of their efficacy.
Hi Abbey!! You’ve convinced me to try the Dove Intensive Repair line, and I’m still a “can’t bring myself to give up salon products” type girlie! Question, though: how often do you use drugstore products vs salon products (whenever you’re not testing new things)?
Can you do a video on how to use the Elizavecca cer 100? Do you use in place of conditioner or along with? How long do you keep it in your hair? Do you towel dry first? ect...
@@PurelyCoincidental I watched it and it was more of a review on the product. She didn’t mention how often to use or if she uses any other conditioner with it.
can you review fragrance free products like shampoo/conditioner from kristin ess, paula's choice, seaweed company, philip kingsley? i absolutely despise scented drug store products.. so obnoxious.
I would be interested as well! I have tried the Kristin Ess ones and did not like. I hunt big game, and it is helpful to be scent-free as much as possible.
Yes!! Abby, please do a mega review of all the fragrance free shampoos/conditioners out there!!!! There is such a need for this! But they are so hard to find! (Fragrance free products are needed for people with skin allergies/eczema, people with sensitive noses, and even people who are going through fertility treatments - the very popular book It Starts With The Egg advises people with fertility problems to cut out fragranced products).
Abby could you recommend a shampoo for aging, fine and oily hair that helps with volumizing mature hair? I've tried a lot of products but my 59 year old hair is not that same as my 40 year old hair was. Ty in advance. ♥
I am love love LOVING the massive education I am getting from all of your videos... THANK YOU! I am confused about something that might seem ridiculous... but why would be bother with a traditional conditioner if we are going to be doing special treatments / heavier conditioning masks / bond repair, etc.... plus after washing treatments outside of the shower.... all of which seem to be heavier duty and more targeted.... am I missing something? Thank you so much....
Thanks Abbey! I'll have to check out the Dove products. I love their body care products. I've used the Loreal Elvive Total Repair 5 hair mask for years. It's very thick and rich, which I need for my course, natural hair
Have you ever tried the milkshake line of hair products? I use the leave in conditioner spray and have used the blue conditioner. The company sells to salons and on Amazon.
Hey Abbey! Which of these products do you think would be best for fine, wavy hair that is dry? My scalp is dry too and my hair takes a few days to get oily
Goodness! When I was younger, our household used to get Dove/ Pantene all the time and my hair was so healthy back then. Looking back, it makes so much sense. Thank you for this! ❤
Abbey, what does a wash day/week look like for you when your scalp has a "flare"? Do you notice what causes your flare? I get flares on most vacations. I have autoimmune insufficiency and traveling is hard on my body. I think that stress on my immune system shows up on my scalp as a flare up. Thank you for all the great information that you share with all of us.
Im dumb when it comes to shampoo. But since i went platinum blonde i care now about what im using lol Whats the point of clarifying shampoo? It sounds like its stronger.. do people who use it have very dirty scalps? 🤨 or is it somehow stronger to remove say pomades, hairspray, ect?
Been searching around for reviews because i just bought the dove intensive repair at target today to try, and this video and all the comments have eased my worries after reading stuff online about it!!! excited to try it out on my hair!!
I absolutely love the Kirkland shampoo and conditioner. I have used it for years and have had great results. I have long hair, naturally wavy, dry, fine hair and a lot of it. I also highlight the heck out of it and my stylist is shocked how healthy my hair is considering what I use, lol… after the pandemic, the shampoo has slightly changed in both color and texture. The beauty of these types of reviews is that it gives people a variety of options to try and to see how your scalp and hair will react. Will I try some of your suggestions, absolutely, because you never know what will work even better for you.
The Kirkland (costco) shampoo & conditioner USED to be a pureology dupe. It was my shampoo for yearssss. But some time, like a 2 years ago, they changed their packaging...and the formula was completely different. I came to find out they changed manufacturers. I was devastated.
The Garnier leave in is meant for my type of hair. Full on Hagrid level 3a-3c living in Malta in extreme humidity. It's fabulous as is the whole shampoo to hair mask line. Constant L'Oréal group quality.
GARNIER FRUCTIS PURE + CLEAN clarifying system with Vit B3+ vit B6 have you done a review on it? I was turned between Elvive Hyaloron and this one. Went with Garnier because of the oils in it. Do you think was a good choice ?
Ugh… wish brands would make products for hair strands… not all of us have scalps issues… I need super moisturizing strand conditioners… with NO protein and NO coconut… PLEASE 🙏
Can you go over if hylloronic acid is actually good for hair. If hylloronic acid holds a ton of water and water can damage hair them would hylloronic assist in damaging hair?
I would love for you to try some black owned hair products. The formulations for a lot of them are really good. Especially for dry, course or textured hair.
Informative video. It's nice to see the drugstore haircare getting some much-needed love. So many people fell down the Ouai and Olaplex rabbit hole, which are so expensive. Just gotta say, I despised the recently released Dove Scalp Care range. Destroyed my hair and inflamed my scalp. My hairdresser was mortified. I much prefer the Sunsilk line. Or, Equate from Walmart.
Thanks so much for these recommendations! Could you make a video about hairstyles/updos that cause the least amount of damage? I’ve been getting a lot of tension breakage from always wearing my hair in a ponytail or bun, but I need to be able to put my hair up; I'm autistic and have sensory issues, and the feeling of my hair on the back of my neck can be torturous. If you have any recommendations for hairstyles that aren't damaging, I'd love to see a video on that. Thank you so much for making these videos; it's great to see evidence/science-backed hair care advice.
I will second the claw clips, though as someone else with sensory issues, I understand that the feeling of the clip can sometimes be a lot. Some days the clip feels fine, some days I want to tear it out and chop all my hair off. Sensory issues can be no fun sometimes.
Garnier Whole Blends has a new leave-in spray that has water, coconut oil, and amodimethicone as the top three ingredients. It's called Hair Honey Milk 450°F Heat Shield Spray.
I have. I just purchased it recently, so I've tried it a couple times: once by itself and once applied before the Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Leave In Conditioner with Honey. I have aging, highlighted hair, so I prefer using both products together for a bit more conditioning. @@christine7956
Yes... twice. I'm pleased with it. The first time I used it before applying Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Leave In Conditioner with Honey and the second time I used it by itself. It worked well both ways. My hair is dry and highlighted, so I'll continue to use both products. @@christine7956
That dove set is currently my go to. Took me a hot minute to pick it up after your recommendation because of the packaging. If dove updated/prettified that packaging other brands would really have to watch out 👀
I have gone 6 years without sodium laureth sulfate and silicones and have the worst hair I have ever had. I have severe scalp problems and I use baby shampoo without fragrances. It itches, pulls and is very tight. If I use the cheap one from my mom, it is dry but not as itchy. I suspect that the coco sulfates irritate my scalp a lot and that milder coco alternatives don't cleanse enough. I wonder if this could be the reason for my hair loss. I am now daring to go back to drugstore hair care and hope this helps my scalp. Back then I had beautiful hair and never split ends, now I can hear my hair breaking even when I gently brush it. No baby shampoo and natural conditioner helped me. It just made everything worse. I was once told because there is so much salt in the drugstore shampoos it also makes a lot of build off on the scalp and can cause problems on the scalp and hair breakage. Is that true?
Talking about hairs..i love Loreal hyalorinic acid shampoo and conditioner&mask. I just hate hairs licking my head. I need volume for roots and this gives it.
I made an honest effort with the lower tox products, and liked them for the most part especially a less over-powering scent, but after a while I couldn't continue to lie and say they performed well :( They truly just do not perform well for me personally long term (I spoke with the person who does my hair cuts and she also made the same comment). My hair was feeling so dull, lifeless, and also had a weird greasy-like feeling in certain spots, more so the crown of my head. I found your channel & after some views on different products, switched to a combo of mostly Dove products, L'Oreal Elvive, and the Pantine 10-in-1 leave in and OH MY the difference!! I had a friend this weekend tell me she has NEVER seen my hair look so shiny. I could tell a difference almost immediately. Yay!
I tried the Marc Anthony one, and it caused so much static in my hair! The OG creamy Pantene does the same, as does the Pureology color fanatic leave in.
I'm glad that someone is finally talking about drugstore shampoo and the benefits without miss inform people telling things like: "silycones ruin your hair, salt is bad for you, look for clean shampoo" . Those ingredients are there for a reason.
Ikr, for people like me who have oily scalp that’s the only thing that works for me.

My scalp never ended up getting less oily

thank you so much for watching xx
That shampoo smells soooo good
ABBEY CAN YOU PLEASE POST A VIDEO ON HOW YOU STORE ALL YOUR BEAUTY AND HAIR PRODUCTS 💛💛💛
I second this!

I love the cosmetic lazy suzans!
oh god how good is the dove one..here it's so cheap so I thought why not give it a try...my over bleached hair loves it without weighing it down and the smell is just so nice and clean....abbey hands down you are my fav reviewer.. your tips are golden
The Kirkland products are a great example of "more is not always more."
I use this perspective with skincare ingredient lists as well.
I used to have greasy hair when living in a humid climate and could use clarifying shampoos - but not here!
ahhh that totally makes sense!
I use the dove and love it!! I’ve also recently bought the Pantene volume and the deep conditioning mask and can’t believe how much I love it it’s my new favorite! For reference I have very long fine hair it’s thinning but not super thin yet. I’m working on combatting the thinning!
Does it help with hair loss?
I am now using the Dove intensive repair after seeing your shorts. So far so I like them. I'm happy to have seen the long form info now. Thank you!
So glad you're liking them!
Can I ask are you still using these? How was your hair in the long term?
@@juliannayates9379yes I am still using these and still liking them very much
Yes I am still using them and liking them for my fine hair. I am going to get them for my niece and will repurchase for myself when needed.

I will definitely be looking into the Dove products you reviewed!
I'm looking forward to your review of the new Pantene Miracle Bond Repair Keratin + Vitamin E line as well as the new Garnier Hair Filler line!
I had the same thoughts about the Dove packaging but I'm definitely going to try them now!!
hope you love!
Thank you! I have been trying to get rid of SD and nothing has really helped as yet!
Don’t turn purple! 😉
They did!! It's now called the "Moisture Conditioner" and Frizz Defy is something totally different. No idea why they did this so confrusing
ABBEY WHEN WILL YOU POST LOREAL PROFESSIONNEL BOND REPAIR RESULTS?!
And the Garnier bond repair one
They are on my list to try next!
Dove bonding also please!! Unless I overlooked that review
I love both the loreal bond repair and bond strengthening shampoo and conditioners!!! They're amazing!
I now have been using:
L’Oréal Ever Pure Bond and Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. Every week or two use a clarifying shampoo and CER-100 to deep condition.
(All Ammey’s picks) Hair is amazing now 💙
The OGX coconut milk and coconut oil make a difference.
I went and bought Dove last week because of your video and it's the best my hair has ever felt!
I've been LOVING the herbal essences bio renew argan oil line during the in between months, ginger in winter (super thick conditioner), and blue ginger for hot months. They are so different now compared to when we were younger with the moaning commercials 😂
Would love a hair loss products show down!
Me too
Same here

Even my husband started touching my hair this morning (he said it looked super shiny, and he is a bit of a Neanderthal, so for him to notice and say something, is, well, something 😂)
I ordered my products from Stylevana and YesStyle. Everything was under $10, but you do have to deal with international shipping…
I absolutely love Elizavecca CER-100! I have a video on it xx
I am in love with the Dove Scalp & hair Therapy!! It works amazing and feels so good on my scalp. 😊
As someone sensitive to fragrance, I appreciate this review. 😊
I am glad u are making more video about drugstore haircare products. Love your videos so much.
I’m running to the store to get the dove shampoo and conditioner
I get soo excited to try products recommended by you abbey!
It’s like Christmas 😂
I’ve used Garnier Whole Blends Honey Repairing Conditioner for years - can’t find another drugstore conditioner that beats it, it’s thick and has amodimethicone high on the inci list. I’m also curious about how you like the new Dove Bond Strength Peptide line? I’ve been eyeing the shampoo of that set
That is my favorite conditioner
I love the cocoa butter and coconut oil shampoo and conditioner. 😍 and the oatmeal and rice milk shampoo that they discontinued. :(
@@haleyboston the oatmeal and rice milk one is still everywhere in Europe, maybe you can find it online?
Thank you!
I would like to see products for course and thick wavy hair. Curly hair girls need products too. Thank you.
Was literally gonna go today to get the dove shampoo I'm so glad you posted this! Now i can see your reviews first.
Hope you love it!
Do you towel dry first? ect...
I haven't watched it yet, but she said in another comment that she already made a video on it.

Is The dove good for dry virgin fine hair who doesn’t like protein?
Yes!
Abby could you recommend a shampoo for aging, fine and oily hair that helps with volumizing mature hair? I've tried a lot of products but my 59 year old hair is not that same as my 40 year old hair was. Ty in advance. ♥
"Kinda Awful" is the perfect Kirkland shampoo description

Hey Abbey! Which of these products do you think would be best for fine, wavy hair that is dry? My scalp is dry too and my hair takes a few days to get oily
I can’t believe the Dove Shampoo and Conditioner is good at all….. but intrigued to try.😊
But since i went platinum blonde i care now about what im using lol
Whats the point of clarifying shampoo? It sounds like its stronger.. do people who use it have very dirty scalps? 🤨 or is it somehow stronger to remove say pomades, hairspray, ect?
Have you done a video for best hair care depending on type of hair?? I have super fine/thin hair and would love to buy your recommendations!!
Im thinking of buying the frizz ease duo (shampoo and conditioner) to control my poofy frizzy hair!
Just wanted to let you know that I told 2 friends to try the pantene volume and body shampoo and they both had awesome results and are so happy!
omg yay!!
Dang I was really hoping that L’Oréal salicylic acid scalp treatment would be better. Is there a similar product that you find more effective?
GARNIER FRUCTIS PURE + CLEAN clarifying system with Vit B3+ vit B6 have you done a review on it? I was turned between Elvive Hyaloron and this one. Went with Garnier because of the oils in it. Do you think was a good choice ?
Ugh… wish brands would make products for hair strands… not all of us have scalps issues…

I love the kirkland shampoo, been using it for a while, works really well for me and my hair is long and healthy..😍
Neroli is like orange blossom. It’s one of my favorite scents!!!
Can you go over if hylloronic acid is actually good for hair. If hylloronic acid holds a ton of water and water can damage hair them would hylloronic assist in damaging hair?
Do you know of any shampoo/ conditioner bars that you would recommend, or any plastic free hair care products??
I was interested before but now I’m extra interested in trying these out lol. Esp the L’Oréal and Dove!
Loreal has some really good products
I would love for you to try some black owned hair products. The formulations for a lot of them are really good. Especially for dry, course or textured hair.
Doesn’t the dove intensive repair have DMDM hydanatoin which causes hair loss
Do you have any suggestions on treatments for hair that has been damaged by hair pulling?
Claw clips are great! Don’t cause breakage like ponytail holders.
Have you tried it?

If dove updated/prettified that packaging other brands would really have to watch out 👀
ok right??
So, could you use the dove clarifying shampoo apart from the other line every once and a while for hard water build-up?
How is the hairitage shampoo? Thank you
I made an honest effort with the lower tox products, and liked them for the most part especially a less over-powering scent, but after a while I couldn't continue to lie and say they performed well :( They truly just do not perform well for me personally long term (I spoke with the person who does my hair cuts and she also made the same comment). Yay!
The OG Neutrogena clarifying shampoo was my JAM. I need to try the new one.
Same! It’s been discontinued though 😢
🎉😮
I tried the Marc Anthony one, and it caused so much static in my hair! The OG creamy Pantene does the same, as does the Pureology color fanatic leave in.
