I’m SO sorry about the camera losing focus so much in this video 😭😭 I think I figured out the culprit (a tiny smudge on my lens 😑) for the next video. Ughhhh you already know I was panicking and wanting to refilm but I didn’t find out about it until Friday night so I didn’t have time. Hope you guys still enjoy the video and happy Sunday ❤

I have a quick tip. Put your micellar water in a foaming pump bottle. I pump it in my hand and rub it on face. It’s like a lather that wipes away clean. You can also just pump it on your towel. I use way less product, because most of it doesn’t soak into the towel. I get less irritation because I’m using my hands and not the towel. That Redken leave in stinks. It does its job, but I couldn’t handle that smell.
omg yes! or when i used to still use micellar water, i’d shake the bottle up really hard and then only release the foam out of the bottle to apply in my hands.
Hey Abbey! About the elf lip balm I calculated it and it's $4 for 0.21 oz, or $19 per oz. That's pretty cheap compared to Eadem which is a whopping $48 per oz or Naturium which is $30 per oz. I love the grape and vanilla ones and whenever I go to Target I get a bunch. Hope this helps somebody!
Hey abbey! Would love to see you do an olive young (global) haul and really test out all the “best sellers”. Illyoon lotion, medicube toner pads, isoi blemish serum, etc. It would be such a fun video and I LOVE a lot of those products!
I have dry skin and when I moved from Hawaii to California my skin was suffering without the high humidity and the Kopari moisturizer was on sale with Ulta so I took a chance on it. It immediately made my skin feel so much better and Im obsessed with it. I ended up buying two more jars on sale to stock up. Its such a beautiful moisturizer
I found your channel a little over a year ago and your recommendations have been incredible. I love the amount of detail you give and suggest who could benefit from each product. You have really upped my skincare and makeup routines. At 47, I need all the help I can get. 😂
I’m big in double cleansing and honestly the one and only cleansing balm I swear by is the good molecules one. The price is right, it rinses off nice, it’s effective removing makeup, no fragrance, doesn’t sting my eyes and no break outs. But I always keep a bottle of garnier micelar water JUST IN CASE. The little travel sizes of those work and plus I can take those with me when I travel.
Thanks for your videos, you seem honest, which is rare among influencers these days. I can never fully trust them because they are on the PR list, so please don't change .

Here's some thicker K-beauty moisturizers that I love and recommend: Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream, Aestura atobarrier 365 cream, and Mary&May idebenone + blackberry complex intensive total care cream. All are great for the winter and for sensitive skin! I use the Mary&May one during the day because of the added antioxidant benefits.
I ❤ watching your channel. I appreciate your humor, honesty, and I’ve learned a lot from you! That being said, I’m always flabbergasted when influencers have a bunch of empties! I so rarely finish something, it would take me forever to compile as many things as you! 😂
I took a little break form TH-cam but I missed you the most! Visiting family in Poland and I’ve packed so many products based on your recommendations (skincare and hair care) and I couldn’t be happier. Even with different weather, my skin and hair still feel great. Happy Sunday!

Hey! Thank you Abbey! I love learning from you, but also getting to laugh with you - I feel like we have very similar senses of humor 😂 Thank you for this one!!
Still absolutely loving your videos! I watch every time I get a new notification. But can you please do a more in-depth video on how to use epres? I’ve heard you can just buy the refills and put it in a regular spray bottle?
So glad the new treatment is working!!! I love your videos and your recommendations. You really have helped with my hair, skin and makeup. Just a quick note, I have dry skin and scalp. I wash my hair once a week and bought the Pantene volume & body shampoo. I use it as my first shampoo and it really gets all the build-up off and my scalp is not dried out! I also started an oil pre-wash routine, thanks to you! Many blessings!!!💖💖💖
Abbey, please review the new ogx bonding line! I would love to know whether it's an actual bonding line or just has protein. Your advice has saved my hair. Thank you for your amazing drugstore recommendations ❤❤
I use up a skin tint or foundation in a year, a jar of setting powder in at least 2 years (approximately 15g), and a cream blush in between 1 and 2 years (based on its formula). But lip balms in my location which is Eastern Canada go way very fast, especially in winter that's very cold and dry. (On the prairies it's so much dryer and lip balms go away faster there) Right now I have the Olenhenriksen peptide lip balm and I really love it.
I think you would enjoy, wet and wild Photo Focus Dewy. Superaffordable, not overly dewy and buildable coverage light to full. Not sure if they'll have a perfect shade match, but it worth taking a look.
You put me on the EOS strawberry dream lotion & I am OBSESSED! I never would have thought I’d like a strawberry scent, I imagined it’d smell too synthetic-sweet… but I was so wrong!! I want that scent in a body mist, body wash, all the things!! My new absolute favorite
8:19 I’ve been using the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream for years as my thick overnight cream. It’s very waxy but it does dry down. I’ve emptied 2 500g tubs of it on my face and hands. It also comes in a 150g squeeze tube and a 30g squeeze tube. I have like 5 of the mini ones scattered around my house
Uhh I wanted to try that one I think James Welsh talked about it once and I totally forgot about it and started using the Pacifica ceramide cream which I really like to use in the evening 😁
I think you would love armani luminous silk or the fenty skin tint. Fenty is less coverage than armani but more than the drugstore tints. Both amazing and stellar shade ranges
I also love the L'Oreal serum foundation and have to mix 2 shades to get my perfect match, but I do it just once!!! Use your empty bottle (or just half empty of the dark shade) and add to it half a bottle of the light shade. Shake well and BOOM. Close it back and you have a full bottle matching you perfectly!!I have about 8 bottles of it haha
Garnier micellar water cleanser makes me break out so badly even when i double cleanse! I really hate it! My empties that you show in this video are the dove mask, Pantene deep conditioning treatment, and l'oreal leave in. I've bought all 3 of those about 5 times and have a good stick pile on them now. Another GREAT leave in I absolutely love and will repurchase is the dove bond strength leave in... it's amazing, along with the shampoo and conditioner in that line (already mentioned the mask), but I haven't tried the serum yet.
Have you tried the about face foundation? I think you might like it! I used to love the L'Oreal and Maybelline skin tints, but when the about face came out it immediately became my holy Grail.
Ever since I watched a different video of Abbey's where she mentioned she has seborrheic dermatitis (like I do) I try to take note of her product recommendations. I'm suffering through a Minnesota winter right now and my face and my scalp hate it, and I think I may also have rosacea because my cheeks seem to get red most of the time i try to wash my face. Hopefully i can find something that works for me to help calm things down, but coming here is also entertaining in the meantime :)
for a thick k beauty moisturizer try the tir tir ceramic cream!! i have super dry skin and it has been the only moisturizer i’ve found that has worked for me this winter! and my skin went through it the past month or 2, this saved my skin!!
Can you compare the thickness of Tit Tir's moisturizer to other brands, please? Btw, I'm enjoying Tir Tir products like their milk toner and exfoliating powder, if you want info about those.
@@michellec6336The ceramic cream it’s super thick and won’t even move in the jar no matter if you tilt it or not. Compared to the first aid beauty and cera ve moisturizing cream those are thicker moisturizing creams i’ve tried as well, but the first aid beauty one gave me bad texture and the cera ve one just doesn’t work for me anymore like it did a few years ago. However compared to them the tir tir ceramic cream has a balmy type texture and actually moisturizes my skin for a long period of time. When i wake up i no longer feel my skin being super dry because it was well nourished from this cream. It does make you look a bit greasy/oily i will say tho but tbh i don’t really mind. i would opt for a slightly lighter moisturizer for during the day tho, still on the hunt for one! Most recently i was doubling the vanicream daily moisturizer which is super light weight and then the peach slices deep moisture cream on top (little thicker but not moisturizing enough for the title tbh) but was definitely not enough for my skin especially through this winter I had texture forming bc my forehead so dry. Started using tirtir milk toner original with the sos serum along with the ceramic cream and skin 1004 central’s ampoule and my skin is the softest i think it’s ever been. texture completely gone, hydrated smooth love love love! ceramic cream made my skin extra soft. I started using all of these products around the beginning of january and the cream was the last to add in, definitely made my skin better!
Will you give us a tour of your collection and product organization system some time? I feel weird saying this but I'm dying to see what your shower looks like with all of these things you're always testing, lol.
I'm interested in her drawer/display/dresser sort of situation, like how things might be on shelves or in dividers, as someone who has a few drawers dedicated to different things right now myself 😅
@sativadiva2389 yes!! If you don't have a good system (which I'm sure she does - she's at least mentioned different places for different products), you're bound to look like a hoarder with all the stuff and influencer of hair, skin AND makeup probably gets!
The benefit 24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel with Lamination Effect is the best, I'm shocked you haven't talked about it yet. I also use it to smooth out the fly away hairs.
That’s interesting what you mentioned about cleansing oils. Last year I tried a cleansing balm you recommended and my skin hated it. OTOH I’ve had great experiences with K and J beauty oil cleansers. Everyone’s skin is so different! I love that you look into the research behind this stuff because it makes it easier to understand.
Always love these videos! On a note about possible moisturizers that are a bit heavier, I really enjoy the Deep Bleu Cloud Moisturizer by Providence Beauty (Its offered at Ulta). Just a heads up, it smells like black pepper, so a more savory scent. It goes on so smoothly and the texture is *chef kiss*. A life saver for the winter time. They say it's better suited for nightly use, but I also whip that sucker out when it gets dry.
Thank you so much for recommending the EOS Vanilla Cashmere and the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. I've got mature, dry skin and live in Colorado, and this mixture lasts nearly all day! And that scent is AMAZING!
Abby, have you tried the Hempz lotions? Specifically the yellow one called Sweet Pineapple & Honey Melon. It's my absolute favorite. Plus the way it absorbs into & makes your skin feel. It's phenomenal. It is around 20 bucks, so a bit pricey for body care. But well worth it, in my opinion!
You need to try Torriden Solid In cream if you love a rich ceramide cream that leaves no "film". I have super dry skin and can use it day or night. It doesn't make me greasy but gives incredible nourishment. Definitely one of the best of it's kind.
My favorite cream for night or day is the Ilyoon Ato Ceramide Cream. It's so good and the tub is GIANT. It lasts me like 6 months (if i use it on my face only).
I just got the new Dove intensive repair set and it's definitely more silkening than the previous formula. I think the previous formula relied more on emollients to soften the hair while the new one has lactic acid as the third ingredient and it also has proteins and the peptide featured in the bond strength line. So I guess it's like the "light" version of the bond strength? Overall I like it. I do wonder if the Lactic acid being so high up on the list has the same benefits as Citric acid.
Hi Abbey! I definitely think that’s where comedogenic ingredients shine is after you break out from a product and it’s high on the inci. It’s been 99% accurate for me! Love your empties!
Rarely shop for hair products without pulling up your recommendations...most of the time while in store. People probably wonder who my hair guru is. Will definitely share if ever asked.
The first aid beauty moisturizer is SO good. I got that and the LRP Baum at roughly the same time and the FAB one is SOOO much better. It’s glorious. I just randomly picked up that prequel spray since mine from Amazon is about out. For anyone struggling with a little bacne, try this. I tried all sorts of salicylic acids, differed spray, etc and this is much more effective (at least for me).
Girlll! Lotion Recs! I just got the Cake hand lotion set with strawberry & cream, lemon, coconut, vanilla (all are “& cream”) And they all smell phenomenal! I have the body wash on the way but I bet the body lotion, or anything from this brand, may smell delectable! Must try!
I went through the same thing with cleansing oil!!! I realized that I was using it way too much and I was over cleansing my face by double cleansing so I started using only the oil cleanser 2-3x a week but it’s def not for everyone!! I have combo skin and sometimes my skin has really really bad dry periods and cleansing oil was a life saver during this but when my face is oily I def do not use it all the time!! Trying things out is def essential just like you said!!
Give about face the performer a try. The F2 olive shade is my perfect match and I've never had a match that I literally couldn't see where it was. It's my perfect winter shade.
@@b.b7305 I think so! You can build it up or keep it more of a medium coverage but it gives a nice natural finish and doesn’t cling to dry patches. I have combo skin too so I just make sure to set my t zone well. I also use the maybelline loose finishing powder and it’s great as a setting powder!
I really love the foundation from Clover by Clove and Hollow. I was really struggling to find a base product that was fuller coverage for days where my skin was not great but still worked with my oily skin. And it has really filled that gap. I was super hesitant to try an indie brand that was force feeding me ads but it has really delivered.
I totally agree with you about the oribe gold lust hair mask! I got it for Christmas from my mom and while it is nice, I actually think I like the dove one you showed in this video better. And it’s for a fraction of the cost. If I had spent my own money on it, I’d probably be pretty bummed.
Yay new video!!! I love your content sm! You're my go to beauty TH-camr. You have the perfect mix of informative and science based product review, and overall just enjoyable personality 😊
I ordered one but unfortunately it’s not quite the right shade for me and just sits on top of my skin and looks “makeup-y.”. I’ll use it up regardless since it was a little beyond my tight budget. 🤦🏽♀️🙄🤯
Hi Abbey, you should try the Korres body washes sold on HSN. They are divine and leave your skin so soft after a shower. They also have matching body creams but I have not tried those yet.
Abbey, you have to try the Anua 3+ cream (Ceramide 3+ Panthenol), it's relatively new, but I have very dry skin and it's perfect for me, I have very dry skin and I live in a very dry climate. Apart from ceramides and panthenol, it has centella asiatica, in addition to its active components, it doesn't have essential oils or perfume and it comes in a large 100ml tube. I bought it at yesstyle. A big hug from Chile 😘
My stand out products of the year were R and Co television shampoo (want to try conditioner/hair mask) and inn beauty project extreme cream and spf. would love to see you test them out and hear what you think!
I think you'd really like the Hydromaniac tinted hydrator foundation by Urban Decay! They have a decent amount of shades, it wears really well, and the finish is super pretty. I've tried a plethora of different foundations and that's the one I always end up going back to lol
Re: Leave-in conditioner - I have fine, wavy hair that is about 30% gray (but dyed to a medium blonde). I blow dry and heat style a lot, and the Pantene Miracle Rescue leave-in works fabulously for me! Two leave-in conditioners I haven't heard you talk about that I love are the Wow Money Mist and the Kinky Curly Knot Today. Have you tried those ones? I wanted to like Pureology, but somehow it just doesn't work for me and makes my hair feel brittle and crunchy. Color Wow dream coat and the Dove bond serum mask are GOATs for me, too. Love your vids and hair advice!!
Thank you for sharing this! I too have fine, wavy hair that's probably 30% gray. I've been wanting to improve my hair routine, but felt overwhelmed with where to start. I ordered Abby's recommendations for clarifying shampoo and leave in conditioner. But I wasn't sure what mask and/or bond repair to try. I love Color Wows mineral remover prior to shampoo, their Bombshell volumizer, and I tried the Dream coat last hair wash, but some sections of hair were still frizzy. So I'm thinking a bond repair may be a good idea. Any other fine hair recommendations you have I'd love to know. Thank You! 😊
I think I need to try the Kopari moisturizer so far the only one I've found that doesn't sting my skin is Avene Tolerance Control Soothing Skin Recovery Cream. Thanks for sharing I LOVE your content you always move to the top of my watch list❤
I like the L’Oréal Brow Lamination’s more refined delivery and formula better than the Maybelline super slick (which goes cloudy, globby, and flaky). Prefer Simple micellar water over Garnier. And CeraVe PM facial moisturizer is a lighter, oily skin friendly alternative to VaniCream daily moisturizer which is definitely for drier skin.
First of all: love your content! Have been following you for the last couple of years and my hair looks so much better now and I’ve invested in a lot of very good make-up products you’ve recommended. I just recently purchased the Armani Luminous Silk foundation and I’m so curious what’s your opinion on that! I think I’ve never heard you talk about it. Would love to hear it😊
Dear Abbey, could you make a video dedicated to humidity (weather) and the hair care routine you do for that specifically? coz omg when going on vacation to a humid location my hair is just a *next level nightmare* 😭
19:03 If you liked this ELF balm (and if you like the Summer Fridays ones) Colourpop recently launched a very similar lip balm product with similar scents - you should try those!
I really enjoy your channel and how you use close enough to the scientific method for comparisons. It's actually only channel and I share with friends because cover all areas and affordable. Please touch on south/East Asian hair, where does it lie on the hair spectrum. I tend to align for hair care like yours, as it's very long and thick
Personally the texture of the elf lip balm is exactly what I like and it comes in a honeydew flavor which I looove. Super underrated flavor in western beauty. More melon in 2025 please! 🍈
Not Your mother's is my favorite product line outside of shampoo and conditioner. I use the Tough Love leave in bonding leave in protector and the dry shampoo. Its fantastic! I swear by it

Isn’t it DIVINEEE. So glad you love too 😍
8:19 I’ve been using the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream for years as my thick overnight cream.
Seconded!! Soo good. Also would recommend aestura barrier cream
You should try some Korean cushion foundations and skincare products!! They give a skin tint like finish and have more shades nowadays
These are my favorite type of videos
Yay!! ❤
Thanks, Abby lots of fun things in there. I'm very curious about the Redken all in one Leave-in conditioner.
I just heard that OGX now has a bond repair line. I haven’t tried it yet. I’m waiting to see reviews on it-hint..hint 😊
Love empties videos!!
Yay! ❤
Close it back and you have a full bottle matching you perfectly!!I have about 8 bottles of it haha
omg duh. So smart 😂
Revolution Skin Tint is beautiful!!!! It’s light, soft matte, but can be built up for more coverage. I’d highly recommend!!
Surviving a MN winter over here too. Lol.
for a thick k beauty moisturizer try the tir tir ceramic cream!! i have super dry skin and it has been the only moisturizer i’ve found that has worked for me this winter! and my skin went through it the past month or 2, this saved my skin!!
I just found your channel and I am obsessed!! Can’t wait to watch more!!
Yay!!! Welcome so glad you’re here ❤❤
I love the kopari marine clean cleanser. The josie maran body butter is fantastic, too
That’s interesting what you mentioned about cleansing oils. Last year I tried a cleansing balm you recommended and my skin hated it. OTOH I’ve had great experiences with K and J beauty oil cleansers. Everyone’s skin is so different! I love that you look into the research behind this stuff because it makes it easier to understand.
REDKEN ANTI SNAP LEAVE IN..blue bottle...IS AMAZING leave in..light weight..helped my bleached hair ALOT
I’m blown away by how good your hair looks. I’m ready to hear about the hair products lol.
The Vanicream daytime moisturizer with sunscreen is a good find too! I love the moisture it gives
Why can I not remember if I’ve tried this… off to target I go 😅
Abby, have you tried the Hempz lotions?
Love your empties!
yes exactly!!
Every time I break out from a product it always has a comedogenic ingredient high on the list.
The Jergens body firming lotion smells heavenly. I love it.
Rarely shop for hair products without pulling up your recommendations...most of the time while in store. People probably wonder who my hair guru is. Will definitely share if ever asked.
Awww thank you so much ❤
The first aid beauty moisturizer is SO good.
If you ever need an unscented body moisturizer, the Alba botanica daily body moisturizer for sensitive skin is amazing
Would love to see fragrance reviews.
Girlll! Lotion Recs! I just got the Cake hand lotion set with strawberry & cream, lemon, coconut, vanilla (all are “& cream”) And they all smell phenomenal! I have the body wash on the way but I bet the body lotion, or anything from this brand, may smell delectable! Must try!
I LOVE redken one united it’s my holy grail been using it since 2020 and my hair went from short and damaged to curly healthy and past my shoulders
Try the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation!! It is my holy grail foundation. It has a natural finish, medium to full coverage and is super affordable 😊
On it!!
I’ve been looking at that foundation for years, do you think it would be good for mature combo skin?
Awww thank you SO much 🥹❤️
Try the L’Oréal lumi skin tint that just came out, hopefully a shade match so you don’t have to mix. I’ve been loving it! ❤
Already been testing!! The shade I got isn't quite right so need to try a different one for sure
@ I hope you find the right shade! 🤞🏽
I love Korres!
I think you should try the Silk and Noir whipped body creams! You may or may not adore the texture but the scents are incredible
I wash my hair two-three times a week too and I agree, doing all the things can be a lot. Oil, serum, mask etc.
I'd love for you to try Hempz body serum, lotion, and oils. They are my favorite! So many good smells and great ingredients
Abbey can you do a hair routine for fine curly hair drugstore and high end ?
Ooooh I need to smell the strawberry EOS! I love the vanilla cashmere.
Have you tried any of the new Dove hair masks? I’ve seen 3 so far - the Intensive Repair, Amino Curl Repair, and the Hyaluronic + Moisture.
Thank You! 😊
Love your content Abbey! Your recommendations have NEVER let me down. ❤
Would love to hear it😊
I trust you so much, 😅. Thank you for this video- just what I needed since I’m finally running low on a few things.
Yay!! So glad to help and thank you for your trust ❤❤
Always looking forward to your recs 🤩✨
Dear Abbey, could you make a video dedicated to humidity (weather) and the hair care routine you do for that specifically? coz omg when going on vacation to a humid location my hair is just a *next level nightmare* 😭
19:03 If you liked this ELF balm (and if you like the Summer Fridays ones) Colourpop recently launched a very similar lip balm product with similar scents - you should try those!
Which colourpop lip shade is your favorite?!
@ I am obsessed with the caramel latte! It adds a little something to my lips but also hydrates them in the nicest way.
Ordered it!!
@ I can’t wait to see what you think!
Thank you for your honest videos! They are always so helpful during my purchase!
I would love your take on naturium body products
Personally the texture of the elf lip balm is exactly what I like and it comes in a honeydew flavor which I looove. Super underrated flavor in western beauty. More melon in 2025 please! 🍈
Not Your mother's is my favorite product line outside of shampoo and conditioner. I use the Tough Love leave in bonding leave in protector and the dry shampoo. Its fantastic! I swear by it
